IDK if you've done a "top 10 (bottom 10?) Worst Towers Monsters" , but that could be fun. Whether because it's mostly outdated (the OG Apoqliphort), only Tower-y during certain times (the Lightning, Tapir, Leo, etc.), too hard to summon (Zushin, Venomonimonimon, and the like), or whatever reason, they just aren't good enough.

Expected to see infinity in this list, but after seeing how powerful the cards in the video are, i doubt that 1 omni negation is enough

I love YGO design philosophy. Here we have some of the most incredible cards ever printed, mighty Xyz monsters with some of the most broken, powerful effects ever seen in the history of the game. They belong to incredible creatures that command respect and inspire awe, from ZEUS being a clear Gundam/Mobile Suit reference, D/D/D's all being based on religious and cultural characters and iconography and even an H.P. Lovecraft homage in Azathot. Then we have Purrley....just bootleg Pokemon. 😂

Suggestion: Top 10 Extra Deck monsters with Unusual Base Materials Things like Exosister Magnifica being a rank 8 XYZ that requires two rank 4 XYZ as material (while most XYZ require 2+ monsters with Levels equal to that XYZ monster's Rank), or Number iC1000 and the new Raidraptor that list level 13 monsters as material, the new Noble Knights Link 1 that requires exactly the archetype's end boss that is currently equipped with an equip spell as material, etc.

This list made me remember of Raidraptor - Revolution Falcon - Air Raid because i played recently with the Raidraptor deck. Revolution Falcon - Air Raid can be summoned by discarding a Rank-Up magic spell and using a Rank 5 or lower "Raidraptor" Xyz Monster you control as material. And if he is destroyed you can Special Summon 1 "Raidraptor - Revolution Falcon" from your Extra Deck and attach this card to it as material. Another one is Utopic Dragon. As for this list the mosters that i used are Beatrice, Galaxy-Eyes and Utopic Zexal.

I swear whoever was designing the Visas storyline cards after Scareclaws must have been high outta their minds to make 2 Tier 0 decks in a row and a new generic and free special summon engine with Kashtira Fenrir.

I really wonder about Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis that released recently on AGOV It has alternative summoning conditions that can be XYZ summoning with your monster with highest atk the turn, or turn after, your opp summons 2+ Extra deck monsters Also, I saw a lot of decks play TY-PHON So why TY-PHON isn't on the lists?

I would like to mention Super quantal great king magnus. being unaffected by everything, and having it's own spin, plus it leaves bodies on the board when it leaves board, if it ever does, makes it one of the most stable towers style boss monsters you can put on board. it can go into zeus if you need it to, but not even an opponent's zeus can remove this card from the field. it's effectively kajiu or nothing. and that still triggers every material effect plus the bodies on board.

I kinda find it hilarious you could make a 2nd List of this type of cards and mention others like Utopia the Lightning, Ghostrick Angel of Mischief, Gaia Dragon the Thunder Charger, Cyber Dragon Infinity, or the newest Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis. Or the Numeron Gates

for the D/D/D deus machinex i feel like it would have been nice to mention the fact that D/D got a built in archetype, searchable change of heart that changes its name to have D/D/D making it able to summon this guy

I remember numeron card while used for utopic zexal, wasn't really as widely used due to the fact that if you use it, your endboard would solely consisted of S0 and it could've been shut down by a single imperm in draw phase. It was ascended sage which deemed to be problematic and gotten Argent Chaos Force banned for the fear of easy Utopic Zexal and being able to build board normally. It was actual Numeron deck that utilized s0 as valid going first option as without it, their other best option was UDF or Megaclops. Also on top of that they could utilized Memories of hope, drawing 4 cards before turning the numerons into S0. Utopic Zexal was banned in TCG due to Numeron deck, not the card.

Adding to Expurrely Noir, a ghostrick+Draco Future package in Purely, can generate a 2nd unaffected Noir while still having a Purrely monster attached to it; giving its return to deck effect quick effect speed. Ghostricks can generate the Rank 2 with 5 materials, meeting Noirs summoning condition.

I miss TOSS format. For me that was peak ygo. Sure Sky strikers were better than the other 3 but having 4 decks be the meta was such a good mix when going to things like locals or tournaments. Loved my Orcust deck and even after harp was banned I tried to experiment with Orcust/cydra but it wasn't the same as pure Orcust.

Could you make a video going over some of the lingo you regularly use to describe cards? Like extenders, interaction, etc. Might be good for returning and new players.

8:11 Wrong memory. Joyful Memory is the one that gives multiple attacks. Delicious Memory gives ATK/DEF based on the No. of materials which makes dealing with Noir even harder as its DEF would be too high to deal with by batttle.

A little surprised Cyber Dragon Infinity didn't make the list since it did make topping decks due to its alternative condition for ranking up off of Nova. Its absorb effect and negation are both SOPT, but are extremely powerful as well.

I am not sure how the list are make, but madolche puddincess chocolat-a-la-mode also has alternate summoning of using madolche xyz level 4 as condition. I also use exosister magnifica as it will ignore all xyz summoning condition as well.

my favorite Zeus splash is in Earth machine (the infinitrack GASGASGAS version) you can get a 5 mat Zeus, with a goliath under it making it harder to out for the opponent

You should do a video about deck building in modern yugioh. I'm sure with Master Duel being so popular, a lot of classic ygo players are getting back into the game. But anyone that played prior to link or even pendulum, would have no idea about hand traps or how many is too many. Or how to build around a combo line. Could be a great tool

So the only reason why Azathoth is so strong is because it/ card text is “After” instead of “If” or “When”, which is also the reason why it doesn’t start a chain. Are there any other cards that also do this? How about a top 10 list of cards that have effects that don’t start a chain. Edit: So it’s not the “After” that doesn’t start the chain, it’s rather the “,”. Effects that include “:” or “;” starts a chain. This is honestly really dumb imo. How are casual players supposed to know when they can or cannot negate something? Creates a huge barrier to entry if you ask me. Konami should really streamline this sort of things.

For Purrely, delicious memory doesn’t allow it them to attack multiple times, that is happy memories effect.

For Expurrely Noir, you didn’t mention Purrely’s trap card, Purrelyeap?! It lets you summon a Purrely Xyz monster on top of a Purrely Xyz with a lower rank, allowing them to bring out a Noir on the opponent’s turn.

I gave new school a big college try but old school is just cooler to me. Watching MBTs banlist contest and then this it just feels like everything is an efficiency engine and nothing is just fun or different. I know that's not an entirely true statement, but it's how it feels to me.

what happened to my baby "super starslayer TY-PHON sky crisis"? he's super generically splashable into any deck for a 2 card zeus chain because any deck does 2 or more special summons, letting him punish them, and can floodgate Baronne out of negating because 3k and above mons can't activate their effects, and if you need he can spin something back for 1 material which isn't the end of the world if you play zeus after properly and stack it right to still have a free hoardbreak also something that rarely gets mentioned is that zeus' effect to overlay any card from the deck onto itself as a material makes it an amazing search/discard if played right, placing well with certain combos that need something hard to search in their gy

Speaking of D/D/D asorbing material being a good removal. Imagine an Archtype…focused around XYZ summoning, with the Material monsters giving the XYZ monsters Floodgates. And the gimmick with the deck being that you attach monsters to your, or your opponents XYZ monsters and lock them out of using their abilities. Like imagine Ariseheart grabbing a material, and that material has an ability that negates all other monsters the owner controls or something.

Haven't played the TCG in years but due to Duel Links being given for some awful reason full power Orcusts, I have PTSD of Dingirisu. Who at Konami thought Orcusts at full power in duel links was a good idea I'll never know

As bonuses, the card’s ATK/DEF matches the highest single one of its attached materials, AND if your fulfill the immunity criteria, it also lets you set cards from your hand, deck or GY if the battle phase goes well enough.
