Amare has the best combination of power and grace in his dunks. Most dominant dunker when contested. Kemp and Griffin come in as distant 2nd and 3rd in comparison.

Can't believe he's not on the Suns anymore.I always thought he'd be a Sun for life.Before the two knee surgeries, i really believed he was going to revolutionize the PF position.He had the first step of a pg, the power of a center, and the finesse of a athletic two guard all rolled into one...Not to mention his jumper is underrated, also.This clips make me feel the nostalgia.Amare was so fun to watch develop.From the very beginning,u knew he'd be a beast.He had no fear.even as a rookie out of HS

Wow!!!....you know Amare is just one of those gifted, and impressive big men that teams would love to have. He has amazing footwork for a big man, and he has a decent mid range game, something Dwight Howard lacks, and his power is just incredible. I knew he would be a star from the first time I saw him play at Cypress Creek high school.

man, young amare before the knee injury was unstoppable once he got inside. he threw down hammers all day. he still gets his dunks in, but they arent as hard as his early dunks

They had an article about him in his rookie year. They were comparing different facets of his game to players such as Hakeem Olajuwon, Moses Malone, Darryl Dawkins, and Shawn Kemp. I definitely see The Kemp comparisons. His dunks are the most violent and entertaining ever since The Reign Man. This guy warrants more Kemp comparisons more than Blake Griffin does

Amare is my favorite NBA player I have autographed and framed picture of him. He will always be my favorite player, even if ever traded. I will also still watch the suns. Im not on that bandwagon that everyone was in.

I would rather have Dwight at center but Amare at PF. Dwight is more physical and has a better post game but Amare is better away from the basket and has better handles.
