ha, i noticed that too. And just a couple songs later at 5:42 from Joga to Enjoy the Silence, even though the very end of the word is cut off, since it blends into the guitar note. One going into Bjork, the other coming out of Bjork.
Really respect Space Song on here. Popularity of 120M views on RU-vid, nearly a billion streams, and still a RYM score of 4.28. They’re doing something right
This is also the chart which contains the largest number of the songs that i love!!! I surprised to myself that i knew almost 80~90% of the tracks! Thanks for this perfect video.
@@FoxMaster I believe the page has to be sponsored by a paid subscriber to RYM. But if you’re a paid subscriber you can see the track ratings at all times.
This really gives me hope, this is what we need to promote, a democratic process in good music. Not just some radio station or media deciding whats good
Billboard is more democratic now than it’s ever been. Old songs being revived and songs that aren’t backed by big labels can chart high and become popular. Underground music is more popular than it’s ever been.
Bowie's the greatest and I'll say it again Bowie's the greatest and I'll say it again Bowie's the greatest and I'll say it once again Bowie's the greatest
@@laubedunfou2848 Brain Wilson didn't' have the insane run of albums that Bowie or Stevie Wonder did. Still, just Pet Sounds and Smile make him absolutely legendary.
Top 10 for me from this list 1. The Moon 2 Joga 3. Karma Police / Let down 4. Heroes 5. When You Sleep 6. Luv Sic pt 3 7. Alison 8. Be quiet and drive far away 9. Heaven or Las Vegas 10. 1979
@@jakeisrandom3343Kid A didn’t have any publicly distributed singles, but it had promotional singles released to radio before the album released, such as Everything in its Right Place, How to Disappear Completely, Optimistic (which had heavy airtime on the radio at the time), and Idioteque
I mean, "Wouldn't it be nice"/"God only knows" is an insane single, those two are arguably some of the best songs that the Beach Boys ever made. Imo only "Good Vibrations", "Heroes and Villains" and "Surf's Up" come close.
I love space song. I dont think its underrated in this list, i just wanted to say that and to everyone who also loves it should listen to the ending of dramamine, it is a really good song, and at the peak of the song there is something that imo sounds close to space song
honestly this comment sounds disgusting to me since im pretty much doing advertisements for a song on this video that has so many masterpieces, i cannot overstate how good the songs on this list are
Artists who appear more than once David Bowie (7) Radiohead (6) The Cure (4) Kendrick Lamar (4) The Beach Boys (4) Talking Heads (4) Bjork (3) The Smiths (3) New Order (3) Kate Bush (3) Death Grips (2) Jimi Hendrix (2) The Beatles (2) King Crimson (2) Joy Divison (2) Portishead (2) My Bloody Valentine (2) Let me know if I’ve made any mistakes
what is it with neo-psychedelia. i always assumed there were some years between 1968 and 1980 were some folks made some psychedelic music only to find out that neo-psychedelia is the biggest underrecognized genre of all times with millions of immensely successful pop hits attributed to it.

How come some lower ones have higher ratings than ones above them? For example, Time is higher rated (4.26) than The Heart Part 5 (4.25), yet the Heart part 5 is rated one place above it.
@@ash_11117it was his comeback song after 5 years of silence, from one of the biggest artists right now and also was not added to an album (only as a bonus track). Time is 50 years old and many people already know it from the album, so it obviously doesn't get that many ratings
