I don’t think too many people would say that George Harrison’s best Beatles song was while my guitar gently weeps. It’s not as good as here comes the sun, and it’s definitely not as good as something. Beatles have a fair number of mediocre songs and just because it’s a Beatles doesn’t mean they’re great, but some of those mediocre songs got rated way ahead of amazing top tunes. Don’t agree with reading a song multiple times just because it was released multiple times -it’s the same song whether it was remastered or not
I would give 'Rust in Peace' the number 2 spot, and depending on my mood that day, it might even be number 1. Either way, considering Mustaines' influence on 'Ride The Lightening' AND 'Master of Puppets', 'Mustainica' takes the top 3 spots. I think another one or two Megadeth albums could've made it in there... Their first four albums are probably worthy. And after all, they're one of the only bands keeping thrash alive... 'United Abominations', 'Endgame' & 'The Sick, The Dying and The Dead', also might be worthy... And, isn't Slayer more Death Metal than they are Thrash? ... same for some of those other bands. Looking at about the top twelve though, and considering that he's actually sticking with it, one might consider Dave Mustaine the king of thrash metal.... No?

Before you proceed, be aware that this list contains a mix of singles, albums and EPs. For that reason, it’s hard to really judge the entries just based on a few seconds from one song. Summer in Paradise does not deserve a 5.5, the video editor just picked one of the more tolerable songs from that album.
