finished. i love this list and agree with almost all of it except that it's missing hard desperation (kuro) and I miss you (cold steel).

A hard list to make with a series that has 1000+ different musical pieces including remixes and different arrangements, but you did include a lot of my faves (Just in different places). Unmitigated Evil is my fave boss theme though. Azure Arbitrator used to be it, but I just really love the main melody of Unmitigated Evil and how it's very triumphant and bombastic, but passionate and chaotic too and a perfect theme for the fight between Van and Gerard. I'm also a sucker for the neoclassical stuff. Unmitigated Evil could legit be an Yngwie Malmsteen track. You can never go wrong when it's a Jindo compositions with Masaru Teramae on guitar. As for some faves I would've included which you didn't...The 'super arrange' version of Fateful Confrontation called 'Maybe It was Fated', Exceed from Cold Steel, the Enforcer theme is one of my fave pieces too, but I think the super arrange for that one which plays during McBurn's fight in CS IV is the best version. Unfathomed Force, Perfect Steel of Zero, Intense Chase, Deep Carnival, Step Ahead, Belief, To Grasp Tomorrow. Just a handful of incredible tracks IMO. Falcom Sound Team JDK are the best in the business, that's for sure, especially when everyone's list and faves are so different from each other, it just shows how much amazing music they have which speaks to all sorts of different people.

I'll make my comment short this time: Amazing list, was really nice to listen to it while I worked. All 100 themes were great. I think the only one I kinda really missed was Unfathomed Force (which was in honorable mentions).

I'm glad to see Merciless Savior as number one, it's a masterpiece.

How has this been up for over 25 hrs and only has 171 views. Thats a crime! Im up to #24. Burning Throb and Rise of rhe Grendel and Inevitable Struggle would be higher for me but im loving this list! And your trails content in general. Working thru Kuro 2 rn so almoat current!

Reverie has to be my favorite Trails game and the OST is a huge factor and facts @ 4:19:51 The main menu "Now, at the Beginning" is my no. 1 favorite Falcom track

With "Spiral of Erebos" all the way down at the bottom, I have to assume this list is in "no particular order". I know, "opinions", but I can't fathom someone putting that song at 100.

As an Ishibashi fan I'm happy with the top choice. My list would be a bit different since I'm a big Momiyama and Ishibashi fan, but I commend the time and effort put into this.

I actually found some of the boss music in Reverie to be so mid that I downloaded almost all of the awesome boss tracks from older Trails games onto a thumbdrive and played whatever track I wanted for the boss fights. Seems like certain talent in Falcom were definitely released and the music tracks have suffered. I think I'll be keeping my USB for the foreseeable trails future >_>

I finished Sky SC today and I can confirm, Merciless Savior is a masterpiece of a song. Side note: I'm quite disappointed Loewe died. Thought there was a lot of potential for a new found friendship with Joshua. Weissman can stay dead though!

My favorites are mainly: I will remember you, its instrumental ver blue destination, and Silver will.

I was thinking about the Merciless Savior as an option for #1, but in the end I predicted Silver Will. Great list! My personal favourite is The Whereabouts of Light (full vocals version) but Cry for Me, Cry for You and Merciless Savior are very close.

No Doomsday Trance? The name itself should be able to put it on the list. Also yes, I know the ''trance'' part probably refers to the genre of music, but it could also mean you're in a ''half-conscious state'', befitting of when it plays.
