This video gave me an idea. What if Mario Kart 9 was a greatest hits compilation? There are usually 8 cups per Mario Kart and there have been 8 games. That means that the best tracks for the SNES game will be one cup, the best from the N64 version will be another, and so on.

My mistake: there are only 4 tracks with no votes. Here they are: SNES Bowser Castle 2, GBA Bowser Castle 2, DS Mario Circuit and 3DS Mario Circuit.

3DS Rainbow Road at #18? C'MON! It should be in the top ten. I love that track a lot. It's my favourite Mario Kart track of all time. At least it gained 6 spots in 2015.

If you're wondering my top 10 is 10. DK mountain (DK CANNON) 9. 3DS Rainbow Road ( My favourite rainbow road) 8. Royal Raceway ( The castle, massive ramps, great track for drifting) 7. Grumble Volcano (An errupting volcano, shame about the glitch) 6. Wario Colosseum (Twisty, Difficult, huge ramps, AMAZING) 5. Piranha Plant Pipeway ( Best Music aside from rainbow roads and a nice retro style) 4. Yoshi Valley (Winding paths, mental music and it even screws over the n64 hardware) 3. Airship Fortress (It's a race on airships, lazers, cannons, bullet bills; need i say more) 2. Cloudtop Cruise (Love the galaxy part of the music and it's my best track on mk8) 1. Waluigi Pinball (im sorry it just has to be. Creativity Overload)

GCN Rainbow Road was so far out. That course was awesome if you ask me. It is my personal favorite of all time. DS Tick Tock Clock I'm not crazy about. I love Wario Colossem, Waluigi Pinball, Yoshi Circuit, Yoshi Valley, All Rainbow Roads (SNES least favorite), Daisy Cruiser, Sky Garden, GCN Bowser's Castle, Cloudtop Cruise, Music Park, Piranha Plant Slide, Maple Treeway, Mushroom Bridge, Banshee Boardwalk, Airship Fortress, Water Park, DS Cheep Cheep Beach. Ones I hate: DS Desert Hills, GCN Peach Beach (because of the Cataquacks), I think that's it. SNES and GBA, I don't know them well at all. I know GBA better though because SNES has 1,2,3,4 on each course. My favorites are nit in order btw.

+Mario DudeNL - DKFan57 I can't believe you don't like Piranha Plant Pipeway. I really like this track. It's extremely fun to play on. And also I'm so happy to see this track back in Mario Kart 8. :-) It was one of my favorite tracks in Mario Kart 7. 12th in Mario Kart 7. And 18th in Mario Kart 8.

Good list, for the most part. Only a couple of tracks I don't believe belong as high as they are: Dolphin Shoals, Tick-Tock Clock, and Water Park. There are also quite a few remade tracks better than the ones on here, most notably Delfino Plaza and Yoshi Valley.

Anybody else find it interesting how GCN Mushroom City and GCN Yoshi Circuit are right next to each other, and GCN Sherbet Land is only two slots behind it? These three not only share the Star Cup in Double Dash, but they're ordered correctly as well.

Might as well: 8. N64 (sorry folks, I hated it but that doesn't mean you have to agree so please don't dislike. Was too long and monotonous for me and those guardrails ruined it. Great music though. Prefer the MK8 remake designwise) 7. GBA (was alright, but a 3D update would be awesome I reckon) 6. Wii U (very disappointing considering MK8's capabilities but was OK overall) 5. DS (Again OK, ironically it did anti-gravity far better than MK8's version) 4. SNES (Decent, very challenging, but MK7 made me like it less due to people spamming it online. WHY DID THEY BRING IT BACK IN MK8 DLC?! -_-) 3. Wii (Awesome, underrated in my opinion. Love the Super Mario Galaxy feel! Great design too!) 2. GCN (AMAZING! Truly felt like a grand finale course. Great challenge and AWESOME MUSIC! Plus that awesome pipe) 1. 3DS (LEGENDARY! Brings together everything I love about previous rainbow roads and shakes it up for the better. The moon and the final stretch and that music! EPIC)

GCN Rainbow Road, 3DS Rainbow Road, Waluigi Pinball, Wario Colosseum, Wii Rainbow Road, GCN Bowser's Castle, Tick Tock Clock, Maple Treeway, N64 Rainbow Road, Airship Fortress, Ectrodrome, Music Park, and DS Cheep Cheep Beach are my favorites.

Wow that was a really surprising list. Tick-tock Clock? I mean I love that course but is that really the all time number 1? I didn't realize it was that well loved. When I paused at 2 to think about what no. 1 would be I was sure it was Frappe Snowland. Where on earth was that? Glad to see my favourite Maple Treeway got the love it deserved even if my 2nd favourite Delfino Square didn't :( (Plus why on earth were Music Park, Rock Rock Mountain, Piranha Plant Slide and Electrodrome that high? They are really not that great tracks.)

Music Park: I freaking love this track. Rock Rock Mountain: I can honestly say this is my least favorite MK7 track Piranha Plant Slide: I agree it's overrated, but if it's raised, should be a little. Electrodrome: Haven't played MK8.

People keep hating on some of these GBA tracks. Ribbon Road, Cheese Land, and Sunset Wilds are way lowing than they should be. Also don’t know how people put N64 Wario Stadium so low, that’s arguably a top 15 track. Some of these WIIU tracks should be lower because the Rainbow Road wasn’t better than the GBA, DS, WII, or GCN in my opinion. Also Mario Kart Stadium isn’t that great of a track in my opinion, Cloudtop Cruise is basically a spin-off of GBA Sky Garden, and Mount Wario basically has nothing to do with Wario. I would personally put Mount Wario around the 40-50 range.

4:07 that's the reason why I like Sunset Wids. It's a very unique track and I love the the it gets night after the 3rd lap. It is my 65th favorite track of all time.

N64 Rainbow Road is my favorite course of all time in a Mario Kart game. It is the longest course in a Mario Kart game where you go around it 3 times. It's more boring in 8 since you can't go around it 3 times. My average time is about 2:25 per lap.

Can't believe Bowser's Castle for the wii and wii u didn't break top 15, as they are great tracks and they are the greatest Bowser's castles in my opinion
