Seriously though. They missed the far side backhand that he scored from the faceoff circle in Game 7 against the Sharks back in 2011. I was waiting for that, and they never showed it.
I'm so happy Hank and Danny got #1. Not only is the no look tip pass to Danny insane, not only is the through the legs move insane, but that game was super special because it was the last game of the regular season and Hank was 2nd in the scoring race behind Ovechkin by 3 points and he got 4 assists that night, and Danny got the hatty.
I absolutely love your videos! The no replay method with tons of goals makes them my favourite all over RU-vid. Always look forward to your compilations, thanks so much for taking the time to make them!
I was gonna type out a long comment about which goals I thought should’ve been included, but remembered that I wasn’t the won who spent countless hours selecting and compiling these clips for a great video 👍
I don't mean to bitch here because many of these were great goals. But, I think I saw 20 of the between-the-legs-toe-drag which is now pretty much a required skill if you're a forward in the NHL. Also this was probably over 80% from the Eastern Conference, and probably 20% Crosby and Ovi (they are NHL gods so it makes sense) But only one... ONE from Patrick Kane?! That's criminal. Other than that, thanks for the edit, lots of good nostalgia in there. And you nailed it with the Hank/Dank goal at #1. That one is one of my all-time favorites because only those twins could do that, and they could've done it blind-folded.
12:00 I remember seeing that one live while on vacation, didn’t know that goal was that huge wasn’t that much hype around it at the time but nevertheless an amazing goal
Tkachuk goal vs Nashville should be at least in the top 10. The list is great, but i think with some tic-tac-toe goals this list would been better and more complete i guess.
Nyquist had an OT goal that was voted TSN goal of the year the same year as #50 on this list (7:33) Tomas Tatar split the Dallas Defense. Nyquist held onto the puck for something like a full 30 seconds before he let it go for the win. He was literally skating circles around the other team. Surprised that wasn't on the list.
Also surprised that the Datsyuk breakaway goal in Game 7 against Phoenix in 2010 wasn't on the list. Zetterberg sets him up perfectly then does the fake to the backhand and then roofs it forehand completely in stride. It's nuts.
Let's all be honest. The Andrew Shaw headbutt. If only it would have been allowed as a goal would be number 1 without contest. That just doesn't happen and i have never seen it before or since.
the Tkahcuk through the legs that you had ranked in like the 90s was way better than the Sedin Goal you had at #1, but for real though best goal of the decade was Matt Duchene's bat out of mid air goal
Not a fucking chance. Sedin goal deserves number one by a long shot. Not only was the no look tip pass ridiculously accurate and sick right on the tape, but daniel Sedin had very little time to read the kipprusoff poke check and pull the between the legs off. You will NEVER see another goal like that.
C'mon, Henrik passed the puck between his legs with NO EYES on Daniel and gets the puck to his brother perfectly. Daniel then puts the puck between his legs for a goal.
