Great vid, I didn't expect so many Senators goals. That Ducks guy, Zegras, has amazing hands...wow. Love to see the Flames goals - Loved when Lindholm banked off the boards to himself, swoops in and scores, nice. Go Flames.
The things Makar does, AS A DEFENSEMAN, is just amazing to witness. And the fact he’s only a few seasons into his career? I can’t wait to see what he grows into man Much respect to the other guys too 🙏 I respect all hockey players Besides Marchand 🥴
That was so much fun. 100 exceptional efforts. I'm not an Edmonton but that clip of McDavid at the blue line skating right up the gut and taking on 4 defenders single handedly was amazing. Those Lacrosse moves by Zegras are absolutely sick.
I love lacrosse goals as much as the next guy, I'm not one of those people who get upset at skill. That being said, I think they are gimmicky and #1 and #2 in this video should definitely be swapped at the very least.
You are gonna see more of these types of goals, unless the league bans "carrying" the puck. I would tell these fancy scorers to keep their heads-up, someday, someone is gonna crush them while they are trying these gimmicky shots.
Why wasn't McDavid splitting 4 defenders and scoring number 1 lol. Yeah the Zegras lacrosse goals are special, they aren't very skill intensive, but it's a new thing to come in the NHL so it's exciting. But what McDavid did was just pure elite hockey skills.
@@eqluke9890 harder than splitting 4 defenders??.....don't bother responding, you've clearly never watched a high level practice lots of guys can do that
@@landenhall1029 woah zegras did the michigan, people in atom can lift it on their stick but nobody has the hands and speed to do what mcdavid did around all professional hockey players/defence
It's more impressive by just looking at it for what it is, but when you analyze it, it's not as impressive. The Rangers had the 4th line on and were going to change, and once they realized McDavid was coming in with speed they had to rush back and they weren't set. It was also 3rd line defensemen with a backup goaltender. McDavid had his incredible speed, but there was nothing stopping him since there was little to no communication for which defensemen was going to stop him. This just had to do with poor timing and miscommunication. NOT as impressive as it actually looks, but still an amazing goal.
few opinions that nobody asked for first thing, 5:22 wow... second, why do i feel like either im just completely oblivious from watching the nhl nowadays, or that the nhl is really bad at marketing their highlights because i have never seen some of these goals, and they're really amazing thirdly, imo most of these commentators are horrible. so annoying watching beautiful hockey while listening to hell last thing, these vids are always my favorite, i know they're difficult to make so i thank you for making them
I think the McDavid goal at #2 requires more skill than Zegras’ Michigan assist, but the latter will be forever remembered in NHL history. Already iconic.
It’s way harder to do what McDavid did than what zegras and Milano did. McDavid attacked 4 defenders at once, zegras literally flipped a puck to the front of the net
McDavid's was just a lot of luck, while Zegras and Milano's was pure skill. McDavid was going against 4th line forwards and 3rd line defensemen, while Hunt (the forward) was looking to change but had to rush back. It was just poor timing on the Rangers, and there was not much they could do with their awkward and chaotic formation. McDavid's looked impressive because of his speed, but there was barely anything stopping him. The #1 goal with Zegras was just pure talent and skill, and was never seen before. Not saying McDavid's didn't have skill, just saying that his was not top 10 if you actually analyze it.
Tell me with a straight face that Zegras flicking the puck out front of the net for someone to hit out of the air into the net is better than McDavid going around every player on the ice for the other tean
I think Zegras goal should not be number 1. Yes it looked the coolest but the guy was open for 5 seconds and he had so much time to take the puck and throw it at his teammate. Meanwhile the goal by Mcdavid not only looks cool (doesn't look as cool but still cool) but he had to go through 4 rangers who were trying to get the puck.
Zegras is a great player but that lacrosse move should not have been #1, either the Mcdavid vs the rangers of Makar vs the hawks. The lacrosse move happens way to much, it's not that great if so many guys can do it. Great goals come from only a select few if not one guy can do.
How is going through four NHL d men less talented then something that requires no skating skills at all and hockey is all about skating plus its not hard to flip the puck and milano could have gotten lucky i mean he had a wide open net i myself could have batted the puck into a wide open net
