It brings a tear to my eye to watch old g4 content, as kid watching these shows made me want to do nothing but play games. Watching episodes of cheat so that I could find all the secrets to every game I got my hands on. Episodes of x play to see what was to come in the future of games and reviews of games that were out for people to love, and Morgan Webb “the goddess of gaming” keeping my teenage boy mind in full focus of every bit of the shows subject. Ah a simpler time, a better time

I am so glad they put Wii Sports on the list as a family game. For me it really was. It was part of the last memory I have with my grandfather. I went down to Florida to help my parents move him into an Alzheimer facility and while my parents helped pack up his place, the two of us played the game for like an hour and he beat my butt on EVERYTHING. It was the last time I saw him. He died almost two years later :(

Guys, the bottom half of the list is definitely full of games for casuals, but the higher you go, the much better the list gets. The top 20 is particularly filled with gems.

It sucks that G4 isn’t around anymore, now that we have even more advanced video games in terms of gameplay, story, music...etc I would’ve loved to see an updated version of this series.

Ok, Already this list lost me. Putting Mass Effect 2 at number 87!!!!!!! This is criminal.

So I have watched this list multiple times, it's fun to watch, to see how many games I've played or know. And I still am super pissed all the time that NO Devil May Cry game is on here, anywhere, on any of these videos...was it not influential enough? Did it not inspire God of War and every other mega violent game enough?

The worst part of this whole thing is why they cared about what soulja bitch thinks about games..or anything for that matter.

I'm laughing about these 20-somethings talking about how Pong affected people. I'm old, so I know: It wasn't "it's just 2 sticks and a ball but it's addictive." it was "holy shit! I'm moving this stuff on my tv!" lol. I also noticed that no one mentioned changing the brightness and contrast of the tv so the ball and sticks were so bright left trails.

No, old games like Breakout, Pong, Snake, etc should NOT be at the top of this list. This is the top 100 games of all time, not the most influential games of all time. Its not solely based on their influence. No go ahead, try to play pong for 8 hours and I will play an Elder Scrolls game for 8 hours. See who is more enveloped in their game. However, this list is bullshit anyway. I get its subjective but a couple of these entries I just don't understand... Ha.
