Dear Lukasz, thank you and the team for such an exciting game! I would like to ask you the most important question: when, at least approximately, Monster Trail and Wild Hunt shall become available as separate boxes - expansions? I'm from Latvia, few days ago bought core game + mages, skellige, legendary hunt and (of course) coins!
Lukasz we thank you for delivering a game of that quality. Everything is beyond standards.. Top work! Waiting to help you with any new project ( all in big box!)...
Congrats! You guys deserve it, the game is really fun. I hope replacement parts will be responded to and sent soon! I can't use my mage expansion yet. :(
Awesome game. Love it. I haven't support KS as I talked to my local store and they going to have a game. That was then, so game came and I supported my local game store. .... but now as there was so many thing within KS campaign, is there possibility to be something like 2nd printing / 2nd run where I and others whom would like to get hand on thing we don't have in friendly local stores, like Wild Hunt expansion?
Grats! I got the deluxe edition. Everything was fine and i was thinking to try it solo and then i notice- 1 of the witchers was missing a hand! :( I talk with the store from where i bought it and they told me that they'll check the formular i send with my complain and either will return me the money or will try to get another order of deluxe editions. :)
The Witcher: Old World has jumped to our list of favourite games in our house, and has actually been the only game we have played in the last week or so. Each time we play we have added a few more things in, today being playing with the large Monster Cards, full Monster Trail rules, and we have really enjoyed how each addition brings more to the game. The next addition will be the Legendary Monsters! 👍😄👍
I really hope you guys do another version of the rule book. It has some bad grammar and sentence structure. Just look at all the questions people have posted on bgg. Many day the wording is vague and unclear in the rulebook. while I appreciate how you guys laid it out a lot of the visual aids are confusing and there's contradictory information. For example when the game tells you during the setup phase to shuffle the action cards It doesn't say to separate out the starter cards until pages later. So I'm shuffling the deck and then have to go through that shuffle deck to find specific cards? This makes first time set up longer and more tedious than it needs to be. It also needs to be redone and include the FAQ as well. We shouldn't have to have half a dozen instruction booklets. And how is there no index? Thanks
Congrats to all of you for your hard work!! Been playing a fair amount and all of my buddies have said this is our favorite game so far (and we haven't even started any expansions yet). It appears I may have already lost one of the exploration cars (I know, I know...shame on me). Will there be a way to order replacement card packs or other parts?
Anyone that don't get their game yet can have mine. I got every expansion and 3 of us took a week off of work to play and we had no fun with it. 3 seasoned gamers and 2 of us read the books/ played the games. Very disappointing gameplay. Cards, pieces, miniatures, and board look/feel amazing. Like the playmat and the heavy coins. Really wanted to like it but by the end of the week all we were talking about was changing almost every rule. Monster trail makes you way too OP. Wild hunt needs way more punch, taking down death march on the first go is a bad look. Skellige should have been in base game and fighting the Dagon or Siren was just a waste of a turn. Legendary Monster wasn't threating at all and over simplified the little strategy the game has. Mages are a glass cannons early but completely OP mid to late game and completely takes you out of it when all the adventure cards refers to you as a Witcher. Overall issue with the game is there isn't really any punishments, if you loss a fight it not a big deal and there really isn't any wrong choices. Also players can't really hinder their opponents at all, so all players are just trying to do their own thing faster, so there's no strat to the game other then be quick and efficient. The deck building is cool but after a few turns you can overpower every level 3 monster and doesn't matter anyway b/c only punishment for defeat is falling a turn behind your opponents. Not enough of an adventure for an adventure game and not enough strategy to be a strategy game and nothing interesting enough to make us want to keep playing it.
