Just found a 87 Topps Bonds Rookie error card with a Spike Owen's back that is off set too. Sending it in for grading. It's looks pretty Mint with sharp corners!
These are some incredible cards! I have to say the '86 Topps traded Tiffany is the one to be considered the topp dog, but I'm amazed at high the O-Pee-Chee has climbed. I wanted to ask what you think about Bonds's 1987 Fleer Hottest Stars Card! Could that one eventually go high like the O-Pee-Chee?
I personally think anything Barry Bonds will eventually increase in top grades. However, none of these cards shown here are truly rare. They're mostly controlled with artificial pop reports. If you really are looking for something with investment potential, I would personally feel more comfortable buying type 1 (or even type II) rookie photos of Bonds.
For the Topps traded Tiffeny #11T the back of the card of the regular one should have 2 stars on the bottom left hand side. And the Tiffeny version should not have one.
Keep the shows rolling .... Got a big stack of Barry's. Just gotta get some graded .... love the Barry Bonds show ... How bout some vintage Strawberry?
I have one question, I all of Barry Bonds cards sealed and in sleeves inside of a hard sleeve as well. in boxes. Rookie cards included my Dad won from a raffle years ago! Should I let them out the sleeves to breathe? I am going to get them graded, definitely. what would you guys do?? I have his collection from 86-95! MINTYYYY
I really like you posts and have subscribed. How about 87' Topps Barry Bonds with the ink mark next to his name and the partial 3 on the card number on the back of the card
