With a video of this scope, there were bound to be some editing mistakes. Here's some stuff that has been pointed out: - Many typos were made while writing people's usernames. - We used Meteor Metropolis 1 footage while talking about Meteor Metropolis 3. - We used Northern Heights footage while talking about Northern Heights Demake. - I forgot to include GBA Cheep Cheep Island by Kozakura & SquireTurnbolt. Off the top of my head it would have got around 18 or 19 out of 20, but it could have been higher or lower since I take a while to analyze the tracks usually. - We used footage from an old version of Wii U Mario Kart Stadium. The ranking itself was based on the version written on the screen. Also, there was no drama surrounding Katina Track. The section was meant to be a SammyClassicSonicFan parody but clearly it didn't land lol. I've cut the segment using the YT editor which will likely show up in a couple of hours. It'll make all of my timestamps wrong as a result. I'll fix them when I get the chance.
as mentioned in the description, 3 tracks were intentionally not included for various reasons, but the tracks weren't named. Red and Green by SeaPowerBlue - was made using Paint3d and has a flashing road texture Very Short Non Meatloaf Related Track by Davidslane - as the name and release date (April 1st) suggest, the track is very long and is in fact meatloaf related. the textures were sickening to look at, which was addressed in an update that was accidentally missed. ???? ???????? ??????? by ??????? - this track takes a very unique and unconventional approach to its gameplay, to the point where it likely deserves its own separate video covering it.

I highly recommend playing Midnight Museum for yourself! I spent a long time just checking out all of the little details and Easter Eggs that Squire included in the track. Overall a masterpiece!
Shocked I got 12th, kinda feel bad in a way that I beat Citrus's final track lol. Amazing ranking video as always and I really look forward to these every month! Also, Midnight Museum is my new favourite track of all time. 100% deserved W

None of these tracks are in CTGP, that's the point of the video! CTGP is great but it doesn't (and realistically cannot) represent the best tracks out in 2022 :)

Great video as always! I'm surprised my course ranked as high as it did, I was expecting it to get dead last. I have basically no idea what I'm doing when it comes to MKW modding, hence why SMG Comet Observatory turned out... less than good. I have since upscaled the course, which made it slightly less terrible, but it still has a long way to go before it's actually good.
I think I somehow managed to catch the video with the SCSF parody still there, I personally thought it was hilarious (video length is 47:28 for me). Though if I hadn't rewatched Sammy memes enough times I probably wouldn't have gotten it, so its removal is understandable

12:19 just a random thought, as someone who has no custom track creation knowledge, could something like this be possible in mario kart 8 where the routes change every lap? given how the animal crossing track exists which has a random different season every time you race on it, could something like that be done in a custom track that changes the routes so you don’t know where to go?
There are some custom tracks that try to do this with the most notable being Incendia Castle. We don't have a way to change routes per lap, but people will often block routes with the rocks from Grumble Volcano and have them fall at a time where you're likely to be halfway through the lap or whatever so it feels like it changes.
Assuming you are talking about Super Mario Odyssey, we have some tracks like Honeymoon Lune (Honeylune Ridge), Luncheon Tour (Luncheon Kingdom), Cascade Kingdom (Fossil Falls), Bonneton Raceway (Cap Kingdom) and RC Car Circuit
That's fair. If I was ranking these based on my experiences on real hardware I might have thought that as well since my monitor for that stuff is super dark.
