indeed, I am also confused why there are only a few beat em ups genre games on PS1, and there are only a few good games, the rest are so-so

@@IbanBan27 Its due to the sudden transition from 2d to 3d graphics. Beat'em'up Genre was revived in the PS2 era with games like Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden and God of War.

@@dirkcoin1037 yeah first one was amazing. It was even released for Windows 95 later with much improved graphics. But the second fighting force was not that good felt like tomb raider.
