Alchemy of souls is one of the most outstanding drama I have ever seen!

My Love From the Star was my introduction to Asian content entertainment. I was searching Netflix for Science Fiction and voilà! This sci-fi, fantasy, historical, romantic comedy mashup was perfect for me. I still watch it and it’s still my #1. I was so blown away I searched for more of the lead stars KSH and JJH and became a subscriber of DramaFever. DF is long gone now. But I am now an affirmed Kdrama fan with more than one steaming service. I can honestly say My Love From the Star changed my life. 💓💓💓💓💓

just wanna add that Abyss, Tale of the nine tailed, rugal, scholar who walks the night, ghost doctor and I'm not a robot are a few of my fav for this category

I’ve watch several of this drama but one that stand out the most is Uncanny Counter because the story is so good, I have cried so much especially when the main cast got remove from the uncanny and he cried so much, my heart felt the same.

The Legend Of The Blue Seais the best Korean drama of 2016! The historical and Storyline to Romance and of course the Soundtrack and Cinematography is very good so watch it now cuz you're gonna be addicted every episode.

Just going to add something about Moon Lover: Scarlet Heart Ryeo ( 1:57 ). It's one of the most saddest drama I've seen. I really wasn't prepared to cry that much :/ Also, of course Alchemy of souls should be hightly recommanded too.

Black is the first K-Drama I ever watched and I was left in tears, as I got caught up in the story (It was also the first time I fell in love with actor Kim Jae Young). And A Korean Odyssey was the drama I watched right after it 🤣. I'm so happy that Black finally gets mentioned, as I'm sad that this drama gets overlooked so much 😭.

No. 2 and 8 truly are the OG of all OGs that older drama lovers like myself go back to, even after all this time! ❤

Thanks for the list. Saw a few of interest to watch. The King: Eternal Monarch and Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo are top-notch. Found the 'game stuff' draggy in Memories of the Alhambra and the ending was totally crappy.

My favorite Fantasy K-dramas: 1) Goblin(10/10) - Of course nothing tops this drama like it was roller coaster of emotions for me. I laughed with them I cried with them and this trio goblin-jieuntak-grim reaper will my ATF. It saddens me that the k-industry are no more making these kinda dramas. 2) Alchemy of souls(11/10) - This drama my god I had post drama depression after I finished this there was a huge void, like they couldn't have done better justice to this than they have. Trust me the best series in 2022. The cast did a good job, the plot and the "CINEMATOGRAPHY" like no other drama. I will keep talking about this if I don't stop. Don't have second thoughts if you wanna watch it or no, trust me you will never regret nor get bored anywhere. I love the cast sm. It got me hooked from the start 3) The king: Eternal monarch(9.9/10) - Yes, I know many did not expect this to be almost 10 but trust me once you understand the drama, you will enjoy it. It got lot of criticism like why LMH chose the role and the female lead was overrated for this kinda drama. NO!! For me it was one of the best LMH's drama, this drama to me is like home. when I feel low I find myself coming back to this drama and watching it. I watched it almost 6-8 times. And wasn't bored at all. This is SOOO good. 4) Tale of nine tailed(9.5/10) - I watched this because of LDW, cuz he always does justice to the role. And he did. This drama is close to my heart. Add this to your list. 5) Tomorrow(9.9/10) - There is no episode where I did not cry trust me. The stories(each epi) are so beautiful and they are so heart touching. I miss the drama so much. People should give the drama, the attention it deserves. Hands down to one of the best dramas in existence. 6) The uncanny counter(9/10) - The team, the four of them in their hardships how they never give upon each other. Over all a great drama that you should never miss.

A sci-fi kdrama that I enjoyed that didn’t get much attention, Circle. First half of each episode told the story from the present day. The second half would tell the story from the future. It was an interesting way to tell the story of alien invasion.

i just dropped by to recommend ‘ tomorrow ‘ the best kdrama for of 2022, had me hooked from the start. It’s fantasy yes. It was really exciting and each episode ended beautifully, the cast did their best to play out the role and truly succeeded. do yourself a favour and watch Tomorrow, it’s unforgettable, i promise you’ll like it. I promise.

I'll be sure to watch the series that are on the list, which I have yet to dive into; however, I can't help but ask how neither Hotel Del Luna nor Goblin made the cut... especially in the top 3!!!! Seems to me that it's more about promoting newer productions.

When comes to Grim Reaper's and God's K Drama's their are so many Drama's which are worth watch and especially the goblin the lonely and great god is an epic korean drama...it would be nice if the ending of the drama is changed to the grim reaper and sunny remembered the goblin and his bride ji eun-tak at their new reincarnated life and all of their past lives like how ji eun-tak remembered even she reincarnated. so, they all end up being together in the house which the goblin and grim reaper and yoo deok-hwa lived but this type of ending is also good and ❤️❤️❤️...

I really like that part of fantasy or scifi in the kdramas. So different from what we have in Europe.

My first introduction to the KDrama world was Bring It On Ghost, Followed by Abyss and the I was hooked once I watch Possessed. While I tend to like Police and Legal Dramas, I never miss out on a good supernatural KDrama. And, nobody does KZombie better, each new offering seems to top the previous.

I much prefer fantasy or sci-fi ones that don't have the usual K-Drama romance added. I think this list only has maybe 2? If that. Silent Sea was fantastic in this regard.
