I have a pair of Scorpion brand motorcycle gloves that have a dual-layered gauntlet. The outer layer is waterproof and pulls over your jacket sleeve to prevent water from rushing up your glove and under your sleeve. The inner layer is also waterproof, with an elastic band, that layer goes under your jacket sleeve and prevents water from running down your sleeves and getting inside the gloves. It's an incredibly useful design and made operating a motorcycle in the rain a much, much more pleasant experience. The gloves were fairly inexpensive, as well, under $100. I'm not sure why the design isn't more common, especially in higher priced gloves!
