Not just that, but you can clearly see the bird in the updated version. The old one, if it was a bird, had no body and only a beak. Whether or not it was an actual crew member or a prop, it's VERY clear that's a person hanging.

The theory has already been proved to be incorrect. It was tampered with from the beginning. There was never two different figures. It was always the crane, because when someone played a very old vhs of the movie it was the crane, not the hanging figure.

I think willy Wonka is God, and the everlasting gobstopper is our eternal life. Some people trade it to his competitor and some people fall prey to the seven deadly sins. But Charlie gives his to willy wonka even though willy wonka told him that he lost. So willy wonka knew he could trust him and he gave Charlie a stay in his factory. Even though Charlie had little he wouldn't betray wonka. So, I think the river Styx theory could tie into that.

And in one of the books it is mentioned that Dudley goes to this fancy school while Harry don't. In the first books they go to the same school if I remember correctly. He's also bullied for his clothes since he only got Dudley's old ones, which are several sizes larger. Wasn't it because the kids were scared of Dudley and his gang to, or did I make that up?

Isa Draven Yeah mostly the kids at school were afraid of Dudley's gang and nobody dared to be a friend. And I just realized that the teachers must be horrible if they weren't concerned with the fact Harry wears Dudley's clothes when the Dursley's are practically a decently wealthy family. I mean if I was a teacher and saw this I would question if he's being treated kindly.

I read that while filming the boat scene, gene was so into the character of wonka the kids were actually scared and their reactions were genuine. One of the kids as an adult says she thought he was actually losing his mind hahaha.

I can't explain why, but Totoro creeped me out so much when I was younger. It was perhaps one of the most unsettling things I watched when I was a kid. Not the scariest, but just _unsettling_ . I can't explain the feeling. I also believe it to be a trigger for several recurring nightmares I had.

The Harry Potter theory actually happened to me. From the time I was 11 up until 20 I lived in a fantasy world I'd started writing about. I created a father and an entire family who loved me. I pretty much blanked whole weeks of school and got terrible grades because I spent all my time writing and lost inside my head. I had a really bad home life too. My guardians pretty much ignored me unless it was for hitting me or screaming at me. I just hid out in my room whenever I was home. Then I was old enough to get a job and move out.

The Harry-Potter-theory is just so annoying, because that's a re-occuring response to most fantastical stories. "Uhh what if he just made it up to cope with the situation, what if he just dreamed it, what if he was actually comatosed and this is just in his head while his family weeps for him durrr." i remember watching inception in psychology class and we investigated this theory, no one saw a wedding ring on any of his fingers, and we found out that the top should have fallen as soon as the camera cut to black, because the way the top wobbled was a sign that it was about to fall.

I'm sorry but #6 is complete bullshit when they say that it's not a body. That is an obvious hanging body in the distant. You can make out the body and it's hanging. The body was swaying. But with the bird it wasn't in the correct place/position to be in the shape of a body. Plus the bird was WHITE and the figure was black. The bird was probably edited in to cover up the hanging Munchkin. I know, someone "confirmed it" and there were "no munchkins on set" when this was filmed but can we really know that? It could just be a cover-up so they don't get in trouble. But if there really were no Munchkins who can say that they didn't hang themselves beforehand or maybe it wasn't a Munchkin that hung themselves? Maybe it was another extra who hung themselves.

Oh no number 6 does 100% show a hanging body, however that's not the original scene. The rumor has been debunked hard as is, but pretty much someone edited out the crane and put in a hanging black figure using the low resolution of the shot to make it look real. People have pointed out flaws in the edit (where parts of the bird were missed and weren't edited out properly) and videos of old VHS tapes of Wizard of Oz clearly showcasing the original clip doesn't look like what was posted to the internet.

Also you're probably going to say "There were a lot of people on set, someone would have noticed". Yeah well the 400 birds on set could have been hiding the body from eyes. Also you can see Dorthy look twice at the hanging body in the movie and the scarecrow falls at the sight of the body.

This was his way of testing Childs to see if he was infected; a non-infected Childs would’ve gauged as he drank the gasoline due to the taste, whereas a Thing-infested Childs would not notice he was drinking gasoline.

It's not an "abusive household." Harry is a horcrux, causing some people to become filled with fury around him. Having dumbledore sending someone(Hagrid) to go get Harry, is just Dumbledore seeing and finding out he was a horcrux and that he needed to be taken away from Normal people(I don't remember what they are called) because they are heavily affected by how being around horcruxes make people mad, and wizards and witches are not affected by Harry because they are trained to deal with anger and put it to the side so they can study magic. Also, that is why dumbledore refuses to tell him stuff until he is on the brink of death. That explains why Hermione (partially a normal human) is always trying to prove that she's better than Harry and is always kind of mad at Harry for no exact reason.

Hands Of Silk JK Rowling said this theory isn't true if I remember correctly they just mistreated Harry because of a fight the Dursleys had with the Potters and the fact they don't see him as normal. But the horcrux makes no sense as if you see the necklace made Harry and the group angry at each other while the Dursleys were only ever mad at Harry. Wouldn't it make them argue with each other constantly instead? Plus I think any living horcruxes (Like Harry and Nagini) actually don't cause any negative affects on those around them like the object horcruxes. Or maybe it depends on how much of the soul of Voldemort it holds that causes it.
