Top 15 Games of 2021 

Games I'd personally recommend Danganronpa Another and Another 2 It's a fangame of Danganronpa but it is it's one canon. More so, Danganronpa Another 2 is its own canon. Although you wanna play Another 1 first, both games are charming and beautiful in it's own way. Also Iroha from Another 2 is adorable and a villain from Another 2 is one of the most horrific villain I've ever seen.

That's all the game I played and enjoyed in 2021 here's to 2022 in gaming.

My Number 1 is Monster Hunter Rise

While Hades is in my backlog, I’m admittedly scared to play it. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve played and enjoyed the studio’s other games, but I’m worried that once I start it, I won’t be able to stop until I complete it. That goes for some other long games in my backlog like Witcher 3, Xenoblade, Three Houses, Pikmin 3, the Zero/ZX collection, and especially Age of Calamity.

I actually played the Orignal there is no game so wrong demention made me happy just by seeing how much the budget clearly got improved and how they kept the narrator

Hope you don't have to go through this depressive state again. It's never good to feel like you aren't enjoying something as much as you should. Anyways, the games I played that released this year were Metroid Dread, Sonic Colors Ultimate, No More Heroes 3, Deltarune Chapter 2, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD, and Balan Wonderworld. I loved Metroid Dread, so much so that it's my favorite Metroid game. Bear in mind, I haven't played Prime, but I have played Super. That game I feel is only praised to such a degree due to nostalgia. I also really loved Colors Ultimate. The original is my favorite Sonic game ever, and Ultimate managed to be equal to it. No, I didn't fail to recognize the glitches. I failed to care. I'm mixed on No More Heroes 3. On the one hand, it improves basically everything the original game did, and I liked the story well enough. But on the other hand, this game just does not run that well or even look that great. In cutscenes and combat, it's great, but in the overworld, it's atrocious just how bad it is. The Switch just isn't capable of the graphical fidelity it's striving for. I enjoyed Deltarune Chapter 2. A lot of people say they prefer it over Undertale, but for me, Undertale's my favorite game of all time. Deltarune lacks something. Granted, it's not finished yet, but then that begs the question. Why are people saying that it's better than Undertale when there are still five chapters left, many of which have the potential be terrible? I hope they don't, but it's still a possibility. Plus, several people, myself included, didn't care for Chapter 1, and it's not like it stopped existing after Chapter 2's release. It's still part of the game. While I haven't gotten around to playing Bowser's Fury, I finished 3D World, and it was just as good as I remember it being. Haven't finished Skyward Sword HD, but I beat the first dungeon at least. It does look pretty good in HD running at 60fps, but it doesn't have anything else going for it aside from the new controls. Granted, that could be a game changer for some, but imo, swinging your sword with the right stick doesn't sound right to me. Also, the only other quality-of-life feature is locked behind an amiibo which I did end up buying because as useless as it is in the grand scheme of things, the figure itself is very high quality. Compare this to Windwaker and Twilight Princess HD, two other remasters that offered quality of life features right out of the gate, used the gamepad in ways most other games didn't, and while Twilight Princess HD did have an amiibo, it only offered a side mode that you can easily do without and not something as basic as fast travel. Played the first two levels of Balan Wonderworld. I got bored and quit.

I think the villains of the ace attorney chronicles are amazing in their own ways. Some of their Designs are great,creative and bombastic, some are sympathetic, most of them are clever and they all were satisfying to take down.

Persona 5 is the best game of the persona series in my opinion. It has interesting characters, has a interesting rouge gallery(well half a great and the other half not so interesting), the music is great and the finale is really good in my eyes( Not the one with shido but the one with maruki)

I don't play a lot of games in general due to well . . . . money reasons. Still I managed to play a few new ones and my fav one that I got near the end of the year and am still playing- Miitopia. Being a fan of customization and the fact I could create so many chars was great and I did enjoy the story and even the humor. I can see why people enjoy the original. Other games I played and enjoyed this year were Genshin Impact and Pokemon Snap. I only have one game in my backlog that I do need to play at some point, but it's 13 Sentinals: Aegis Rim. Saw a let's play of it and fell in love with the story. I've been putting if off though due to laziness and the fact that Miitopia and Animal Crossing still have me returning to them. Games I am looking forward to this year- The next Zelda game for sure, that's number 1 on my list. And depending on the next Kingdom Hearts game (it's the 20th anniversary, they have to have something), I will probably get that. Another game I am looking forward to even though it doesn't have a release date yet is the indie game Haunted Chocolatier, the next Concerned Ape game that's in the works. He created one of my fav indie games- Stardew Valley.

The best game I played this year for me was probably yakuza 0 I just loved it to the point where it's my favorite game of all time honorable mentions to F.E.A.R doom 2016 lost judgement guilty gear strive dead rising 1 tales of vesperia and resident evils 4 and 7

Here are my top games of 2021 10. The Eternal Cylinder it’s a fun wonderful game this is just spore but what it was supposed to be 9. Pokémon Sword was a fun game that’s it 90% of the game is just talking and the B plot sucks the only reason it’s not number 10 is that it has my boi rowlet in the DLC 8. Links awaking was very pretty and the bosses were very fun except the last one YEESH but still my only problem with it was that I had no idea what to do the phone did nothing but tell me to go to the library which is useless unless you really want to know the lore of this game 7. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond was a huge step up from sword it’s just the same game but 3D the small people creeped me out tho they never blink THEY NEVER BLINK 6. Bugsnax was very weird in a good way it’s a mix of Pokémon and cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2 it’s silly it’s dark it’s cute it’s a horror game the game broke me my boi fryder was a parasite 5. Paper Mario the origami king this game was very very pretty and it was a nice challenge this game has some of the best lines and characters I have seen in a while 4.Spore yes I played spore for the first time in 2021 it was very fun and cursed making my own creature was fun I just made pears with tall legs but still the main problem with this game was the last stage flying around space was fun but the ending made up for it 3. Kirby star allies I’m surprised I put this up here eating things and combining powers was fun the story was a little dark but not much but the bosses is where the game gets really good fighting all these old characters and some new ones was fun and harder than the old games and the final boss being mostly 3D was really cool 2. Spyro riftors rafe was very fun and the level were very cool and unique some were short but still nice the bosses were ok I fell world 3 had the worst levels and one of my favorites my only problem with this game that made me put it number 2 The breeze harbor mine cart it was stupidly hard the cart controls were ok 1. Psycho naughts 2 you know why it’s up here also I loved helmets song is listen to it all the time and I love this line “I can taste the sky”

I think ratchet and clank rift apart had a great video game finale.

I’ve been playing persona 5 for like 4 weeks straight. Decided to restart the game midway through to pick a different girl to go after. I’m still not burnt out and look forward to every single time I get to play it

I'm glad someone other than me is annoyed with something that Deadpool does, since it's the most overrated movie ever (no offense if any of you love it) Anyways, I like when they break the fourth wall, but I can see how that can get tiresome. 8. I'm glad I found someone other than me who's not a fan of Co-op because of how hard it is to find someone to play with. 6. Good but cheap 3. Does it really take 130 hours to beat?
