Ambre Nuit is a wonderful fragrance for the colder days and for every day, too. It's not so extreme loud and offensive like some other winter fragrances.
Ambre Nuit is my all time favourite perfume. It is something I cannot describe. It is so beautiful. Bought a 250ml backup last week, together with another bottle of Feve. So afraid of reformulations and discontinuations. I actually have a 125ml bottle of Feve from their very first batch and the differences with the new version are insignificant. The older formulation is just a tiny tiny bit thicker. The new formulation is a bit more 'transparent' (like Sebastian described Ambre Nuit). I normally don't compare fragrances quantitatively, but they are 97-98% similar. Same performance.
I've seen this collection at Saks only in Toronto. I am astonished by the fact that you own the majority of the collection. I envy that any scent or mood you are feeling, you can grab it at your disposal [your overall fragrance collection]. Every House has Vetiver, I see it i your Top Five here. I love Fève Délicieuse so much that I just want to take a bath in it. The Maison Christian Dior line are all so well crafted that you just have to appreciate the artistry in creating these scents, even if you personally might not be attracted to a particular scent. I'm probably in the minority, but one of my favorites is Cologne Royale, which is a fairly simple scent but SO well made!
Hi! La Colle Noire (you don't read the "e" in French) is a chateau in the South of France that belonged to Christian Dior. The name of the perfume comes from this chateau and its rose garden :)
Yes, the name comes from Christian Dior's castle "la colle noire" and "colle" comes from "colline" which means "hill" in French. It really has nothing to do with black glue. Thanks for mentionning it 😉

Santiago Pinzon Santal Noir turns heads and gets me LOADS of compliments. People have often told me that they could smell me when I left a shared space. Same thing happened in Bali where guide told me he could smell me even after I left.
I got Fève Délicieuse this week and it is such an addictive scent. It is sweet but not overly sweet and lasts very long but is very light on the skin and not offensive at all. Don’t regret buying it.

Love Dior too! I have Cuir Cannage, Santal Nior, Ambre Nuit, Eau Noire, Feve Delicieuse, and my top fav Mitzah x3, I really want Vetiver and to get my nose on Spice Blend asap!
Excellent and very informative video! There’s a few of your recommendations I haven’t checked, like Mitzah and Eau Noire. I’ll make sure to try them out when I’m in Paris next week. One thing on Leather Oud: I see it at Dior boutiques all across Europe, so I don’t think it’s a Paris boutique exclusive just yet.
Was in Paris last week and per your suggestion in a previous video I did go into the 326 Saint-Honore boutique and picked up the now Paris exclusive Cuir Canage and Gris Dior. Your are correct Feve Delicieuse is great. It's on of my favs from this collection. Thanks for your content, always helpful.
Interesting video and list Sebastian. As you got closer to number 1, I had a hunch Feve Delicieuse was going to be it. I love Oud Ispahan and Eau Noire. Their new release Spice Blend is quite good too, but I can't wait to get my nose on the other offerings from this line.

The Dior Privée collection is definitely my favorite collection. That even with my super confident mind I couldn’t choose one, I’m either gonna choose Tobacolor, Feve delicious, vanilla diorama, Gris Dior or Oud Ispahan. (Please help me choose 😢)

Will you do a comparison video of Bois d'Argent vs the new formulation. The new formulation can fill a room but doesn't have the complexity of the original but still smells good.

I've tested a few of them and of course I'm very interested in your opinion... so I'd really appreciate a video about them... my favourite is currently Cuir 28 (Dubai) and Mousse De Chene 30 (Amsterdam)
Great video, i'm a fan of Maison Christian Dior. My favorites are Fève Délicieuse and Gris Dior but in September (still hot weather in the south of France) I really enjoy Jasmin des Anges an Apricoty Jasmin very uplifting with more "legs", as you would say, than the others new releases. Have you tried Spice blend ? I think you can like it. Have a nice day.
Oh nice re South of France as I'm here now on my way to Cannes. It's a rainy Sunday in the South Of France and muggy and wet and cool at the same time. I have not tried Spice Blend yet but soon very soon! :)

Ive tried just about them all now my top 3 are 1. Purple oud 2. Santal Noir 3. Oud Ispahan although they have absolutely butchered Oud Isphan ☹️ i sill have about half a 250ml bottle left so will have to cherish it. Also they still sell leather oud in all the shop in London, I always have a smell but can never bring myself to buy a bottle.
Recently had the opportunity to smell the majority of the line up at HN's, honestly I was majorly disappointed , the only one which stood out was Oud Ispahan, the rest were very weak and bland 😫 I have a 3 year old bottle of Feve and absolutely love it, I hope the reformulation hasn't destroyed the whole line up.

I love this collection! This one is art.. I like so many of them.. but you missed dioramour! I got dioramour, balade sauvage, la colle noire, ambre Nuit, grand Bal, feve delicieuse and happy hour.. and miniatures of Gris dior, spice blend, purple oud and Belle de jour.. there are still more to come!
How does Vetiver compare to Tom Ford Grey Vetiver edt? That's the only Vetiver I own, so far. I heard it is soapy (which sounds great). Is it clean like Mugler Cologne?

I love Ambre Nuit. It smells like a sexy sweet & salty gourmet potato chip to me. On me it lasts all day & then some. Great & informative video. Thanks!
Sebastian is Ambre Nuit very close in composition to Grand Soir? I am interested but don't want to pick it up if it is almost identical to the MFK amber.
I've got five 450ml bottles, cologne royale, cuir cannage, ambre nuit, bois d'argent and leather oud. When they get it right, it's high end stuff. Don't like how demachy is taking credit for the old releases though
You mention this is the 2018 Neve Delicieuse not the original, I didnt know it had already been reformulated. Can you briefly touch on what the main differences are between the two?
La Colle Noire comes from Christian Dior's chateau which he bought and had renovated in 1955... Le Château de la Colle Noire in the Domaine de la Colle Noire. In English, colle means "hill, a piece of high land, smaller than a mountain"... so, nothing to do with glue. ;-)
Vetiver is the only one I want. I even called the boutique in St Honoré and tried to order it. The SR was surprised to get an overseas call from "Les Etats Unis" but apologized that they cannot ship to this country. Bummer!
To tell truth . Dior eau sauvage edt is the best ever fragrance for men from dior and one of the best fragrances for men ever. The best ever done from dior . The edt version. The same level of Creed Aventus yet with bergamot instead of pine apple.
Dear ; which would you say is the most femenin from the 3; ambre nuit / santal noir / spice blend I believe they are all tree brothers or sisters from each other ( same family) , longlasting ..(?) Love them all Ambre is also beautifull with the body creme in the same scent

Doesn't Eau Noire make you think a little bit of "Eau Sauvage - Parfum" first formula 2012? I don’t know why but the first time when I sprayed Eau Noire on my skin, 2 minutes later I had the impression that I was smelling Eau Savage Parfum 2012
