My grandson is also allergic to mango.... Many people react to the sap as if it was poison ivy! I didn't know that until after planting 4 different mango trees! I thought that unless you've smelled 100 mango frags, when you only have 15 you should only do a "Top 3" (or perhaps 5).. Until you covered #15. Now I want it too!
I run a Mango farm in Florida. We grow about 50 varieties. Also 23 varieties at my house. Love all the different flavor components and scents. Best Fruit in the world.
My grandparents had mango orchards in the Philippines, and the way Chandler Burr described the green mangoes when he chronicled the conception of Sur Le Nil in the book “The Perfect Scent” was captured perfectly in this exquisite bottle. One of my favorite scents!
As a Filipino, we grew up eating tons of sweet and tart mangos. They are my absolute favorite fruit of all time. Cruz Del Sur II is my fav mango scent.
Great List! Yeah, Mango is a nice note to feature here in the Dog Days...while we still have some heat in the weather - To me at least, Mango is in that tropical, beachy, summery vein of fragrances. I don't know if you can pull it off in winter...hmmm. I think Marc Jacob's new fragrance Daisy Ever so Fresh features a strong Mango note...A few more to check out is Dolce Shine by Dolce & Gabbana and a very affordable option is Hibiscus by Zara. This is a special note, I love it. And wore CK Escape For Men in the mid to later 90s. Loved that stuff. I also enjoy the Hermes. You can't go wrong with Hermes. It's a great house.
Was on the lookout for a Mango based fragrance for a while (didn't realise that HERMES UN JARDIN SUR LE NIL contained it) and found Mango Manga by Montale. As you can expect from Montale it was very Synthetic but the most Mango smelling of any of the fragrances from your list - although maybe a bit too Mango smelling to the point a friend asked me whether I had just had a shower with Mangos.
Ambassador and Ambassador Intense by Gisada make use of Mango. The original is a compliment pulling fruity fresh that is suitable year round. The Intense is exactly what an intense should be. Absolutely loving them both. I saw where others have mentioned Savauge like, but I don't think it's nearly as close as some people say. It's its own scent.
I’ve been wearing Timbuktu for years now and still love it! So unique and I initially didn’t love it (I think it was the papyrus note), but I came to adore it. I agree with you about Escape for Men being incredibly watered down. So many of my old faves have suffered the same fate (still bitter about Sung now being just a shadow of its former self). I probably know six of the fragrances from your list, but I've smelled some other perfumes with mango that aren't mentioned: God of fire from Stephane Humbert Lucas, Rialto by Gritti, Passiflora by Keiko Mecheri, Narcos'is from Vertus and Sunplosion by Simone Andreoli ( all feature mango in combination with various notes ). My favorite is God of fire though! Thank you for the video!
I was taking inventory of everything with Mango and all those came up but I ended up with the easiest ones to get with the amount I was missing! Maybe in the future! :)
You know what I liked Chameleon a lot for the 5 mins it lasted on me. It felt like a big bold yellow floral dream that would scream LOOK AT ME and then it just went away??? I haven't had this issue with any other Zoologist and I quite like their stuff so it was really a surprise.
Mangoes are my favorite fruit next to oranges, and I rarely come across a fragrance that has that aforementioned fruit as a note. Salted Green Mango by Strangers Parfumerie is the only mango based scent in my olfactory collection, and it smells incredible! Maybe I should look into other scents with mango in it. Excellent choices! Navitus Parfums Primas is very similar to Hacivat, but instead of pineapple in the opening, they used green mango. The same perfumer for both fragrances, Jorge Lee.

I'm from the carribean and know exactly what mango tastes and smells like not even considering the extra wide variety of mangos : the best realistic mango fragrance I've smelled is Thierry Mugler Angel Croisière 2019 the purple orange bottle. Yes, a designer fragrance. This is simply fantastic.
I love mangoes as a child in the summer,I would eat mangoes by the bucketfuls...My grandmother had like 6 different types, and one that it's skin smelled like nutmeg or West Indian Bay leaves..
Oh yes for sure. I'm assuming if you know it really well it might be a bit different but I never really wore it and found a deal on that bottle and I think it's decent for a designer department store fragrance and to me sort of unisex too.

Hey Sebastian nice line up! I own Moonlight n heaven and replying to your question is not a loud perfume and the fruit note is subtle to me. Elegant scent but very modern too. Have reviewed it on my channel in my summer fruity perfumes ☺️
Calvin Klein was the brand that got me into fragrances as a teen. I worked part time at a video store during high school and I saved up to go buy CK One when it first launched. After that came Obsession, Escape, and CK Be. Used to love them all but they are now fleeting remnants of what they once were. So happy I still have a little bit of old CK One left. The juice has turned golden honey color and the top isn't quite as bright as it was, but its still incredibly potent. I only wish I still had my old Escape and CK Be bottles, I really adored them as well - possibly even more so.
I wore Calyx in high school! Or maybe early college but definitely in the 90s. I had no idea about notes but I loved it. Now I want to pick up a bottle again.
I never knew the notes for Calyx but decades ago I perceived & loved it on a lady who was happy to reveal it was Clinique's Calyx. I quickly purchased it at Macy's then it didn't work with my chemistry at all. When I explained my disappointment to the SA she instructed me to bring it in for a refund. Then an elegant model lured me to Boucheron which cost twice as much, but I had no regrets!😂
Okay, you want to try some more great Mango scents!! You'll LOVE Keep Glazed by House of Oud!! Wonderful scent!!! Sample Mango Manga from Montale as well. Unique scent which people seem to either love or hate. I like it for sure!!! But definitely you'll love Keep Glazed! Wonderful mango gourmand!! Smooth and creamy!!!
I ❤ 🥭🥭, I'm mexican, I eat them with lime and chilli powder, in fruit salad, or salsa 🤤 I never tried in perfume 🤔 but I will try, I have tried Moonlight In Heaven, but is more 🥥 and rice than 🥭-y for me.
Beautiful picks. Sur Le Nil is quite stong on me and if I go more than 6 sprays it gets cloying when it's very hot outside. I find it interesting that I don't get the tomato leaf note, but the bulrush one is very noticeable as I'm very familiar with the smell from the Danube Delta here in Romania (the largest delta in the EU). There is one Thai brand named Butterfly Thai Perfume and they make mango sticky rice and mango leaf perfumes. And one day you visit Thailand I hope you can try to smell them. Hope you like it.
Have you tried God of Fire by Stephane Humbert Lucas? There’s definitely mango in the scent but mostly in the opening to my nose. Perhaps it could be lower down in the list since there’s other things going on.
In my list of mango fragrances, my number 1 goes to Anfas Gaya. It is so oriental in style, powerful, with great projection and longevity, for an expensive price.

Escape! I still have an sample but God knows where it is, very good fragrance, the only ones that I use from Calvin Klein are: Original Calvin ( 80's in a bottle) and Obsession. I love Timbuktu, have two bottles, I also like Kenzo Jungle, nuclear scent, lasts for days. Haven't tried any of the others but Bombay Bling is on my list. Mango is my favorite fruit. It's kind of boring in the dry down, but I like Polo Deep Blue as it comes across as a carbonated mango soda in the opening. Very refreshing in high heat.

Hi Sebastian . Thank you, for this video. I absolutely love 💙Moonlight in Heaven🌌 by Killian. It came into my life last mother's Day of 2021 I really love it. I only wish that it performed longer. And then I have two fragrances that you mentioned that I used to wear from my first marriage in the early '90s One was clinique's calyx, next is Calvin Klein's escape. I will never wear either of those fragrances again even though I did enjoy them at the time .It's all good 🤗.
We NEED to get your nose on "Memoirs of a Perfume Collector - Tales From Zanzibar". It has a gorgeous, thick guava note and it's one of my favourite pickups of the last few years!
A good and cheapie that has a fresh juicy realistic mango is Paris Hilton for Men (blue bottle) it's quite fresh, cologne performance about an hour, frivolous fun.
