Thank you! XD Yea, I was really excited after the visit still, so thought my vids were the right way to show that excitement. Plus the videos are quick to make (somewhat). This is the last one, too, apart from maybe an off-ride POV or two later down the line
@@NorthernRidesYaBoi I can really hear your excitement! You voice-overs are a great combination of facts, personal opinions and anecdotes. Looking forward to seeing more stuff from your future trips!
@@NorthernRidesYaBoi In case if your'e interested. When I sit in bus, but also dont want to put my backback away, i wear in on my bellyside. Looks funny? maybe , but hey, backback says on and you can sit with ease.
I love all your videos especially on Gröna Lund, your reviews are so great and makes me so excited to try new things. I live fairly close to the park so I go there a lot, and still I was afraid of a few coasters. Your videos helped me overcome that, instead of making them look just scary, you build up the excitement and make the rides look way more enjoyable. Thank you a lot, and I'm hopefully going on all of these tomorrow! :D
As someone who's grown up visiting the park and sensitive to roller coaster and DO NOT like any drop towers this would be my top 15 rides:) 15. monster 14. tuff tuff tåget 13. flygande mattan 12.Bläckfisken 11.Blåa tåget 10.lustiga huset 9.rock-jet 8.nyckelpigan 7.tekopparna 6.vilda musen 5.kvasten 4.kättingflygaren 3.kärlekstunneln 2.pop expressen 1.twister Loved watching your video btw
Fun fact about Kvasten! When you went over the haunted tree figure for house of nightmares the torch used to light a flame that went right under the passengers feet. This was quite some time ago however but I do remember it vividly from when I was a kid. They did remove it because of safety reasons I believe but that experience was really cool. Edit: It's back it was just gone for a while
It still did the flame trick when I was there, and it was really cool! But it didn't do it while the ride went by, and it happened rarely. But I loved it
It’s awful in my opinion. But maybe it’s the fact that I don’t like stuff that spin too much cause I get sick easily. But it had so much force and like I said I didn’t like that it spun ur seat and the whole coaster with it💀 too much-
Was at Gröna Lund Today And I Finally Had The Courage To Try Ikaros And I Gotta Say It Was Totally AMAZING! I Needed To Ride It By Myself Tho Cause My Mom And Brother Did Not Have The Courage To Do It!🤣 Btw Love The Video!
My Favorite Roller Coaster (Monster) My Favorite Thrill Rides (Ikaros) My Favorite Gentle Rides (Kättingflygaren) My Favorite Dark Ride (Blå tåget) and My Favorite Water Ride (Kärlekstunneln).
Great video! "Insane" is kind of interesting because of randomness - you never know if you'll go into a drop feet first or head first. I don't find the eyeballs-out forces that pleasant though. "Eclipse" the terrifying (2:03) is my favorite! I guess the disproportionately thin chains and simple restraints could have been contributing to your terrifying factor? I call it a brilliant design choice and I adore that kind of thrill, especially on a sunny day with a slight breeze (adds a whole bunch of degrees of freedom, compared to being tucked up in those drop tower seats). Plus its steampunk theme is quite neat imo. Well said about the fun house! It's well worth a visit, it does channel your inner kid, regardless of how old you are.
Thank you so much for this comment! Actually, regarding my fear in Eclipse, it's just the height itself. I don't have a problem with the seats or chains. I was scared shitless on my first rides on Fritt Fall and Ikaros as well 🤣 I would love to come back for Insane one day, and I surely will! By then I might've even tried Kirnu in Linnanmäki. And yea, Lustiga Huset is just something else. I've never been in a fun house nearly that good before
I remember the old funhouse that burned down in the 1980's it had more soul and was a little more fun than the new build but they are very much the same inside.
About Blå Tåget, it didn't open 2011. Blå Tåget is a really old coaster that dates back to 1935, but has been redone a 2 times. 1 between 1980-1982 and 2010-2011
Amazing review i go there all the time bc i live there in sweden my favorit so far is kvasten its a very fun ride btw kee pthe good work and yes i know im typing this in 2023 but still keep the good work
Awesome! I haven't done that one yet, but I have heard several people prefer Lustiga Huset, which is why I made that assumption in the video. I look forward to trying Hotel Tartüf one day! I'm actually visiting Phantasialand in about two weeks, so if there's time I'll definitely try it out 😁
Hi btw at most of the rides you can place your un needed objects such as backpacks at the side of the coaster, you’ll probably see a bunch of other hings there :D
I actually live in Sweden and I’ at Gröna Lund like all the time and I was actually there today haha, but sadly Jettline is closed because it was so old so it broke and a lady died, so thats sad because it was my favourite😭 But my top 3 are 1 Insane 2 Pop expressen 3 monster. All of them are just super fun! So... YOU NEED TO GO THERE!!!
@@mejaenglund530 I've been there twice now 😊 This video was made after my first visit. Jetline actually didn't break because it got too old. Instead, it had a couple a mishaps with its trains and their newest parts. But it was a great ride!
When I was a kid I was terrified of the blå tåget dark ride. I mean properly terrified. It wss something about the surrelalistic figures and artwork on the outside. Took me a long time to try the funhouse cuz I was 100 percent sure the funhouse s entrance was just another way in to the darkride and I was convinced my father was just trying to fool me into the darkride blåtåget. XD
hjert line is close now. a acedent hapens 2023 on the sommer. twister is one of my favorite with monster. i are doing to gröna lund on the 11 agust to finely ride all on grönalund
Great video. I will be taking my sister who is visiting from the Bahamas next week. However, mate. How did you miss the ride called Insane? The name says it all. lol
You mentioned you had to take your backpack on the flying carpet ride. Were you able to leave your backpack at the ride exit while you rode on the other rides? I’ll be visiting Grona Lund soon and am trying to figure out my backpack situation!
Every other ride had shelves and similar settings to put your bags into. Some rides like Monster are especially prepared for this. Other rides do require that you bring it with you, but without the fear of losing it. Only the flying carpet ride made me uncomfortable regarding the backpack situation
2:20 I could NEVER do that. It's the only thing in this world that would make me pass out from sheer terror. Just the idea of not being able to change your mind and being completely out of control at that height. I envy you for being able to put yourself in that seat and experience it. Maybe I need some exposure therapy.
@@NorthernRidesYaBoi I've been to Grönan countless times but unlike my sister I can't bring myself to get on something like Fritt Fall or Eclipse. I've only done Vilda Musen and I could've definitely used a video like this to prepare me for that one, I had no idea what I was getting into. Your video gave me a new perspective on Kvasten however. You did a great job of getting across the sensation of flying. I thought I was done with this kind of thing, but I'll have to give that a go next time.
@@Dousch Slowly pushing your boundry is the way to go, if you want to be able to ride bigger! I'm glad my videos were of help :) Thanks so much! Have fun next time to dare yourself 💪
@@NorthernRidesYaBoi Thanks and good luck to you too on your next adventure. By the way, at 4:42 I heard kids were vandalizing the props in there, so they covered everything up with glass. I don't think the glass was up yet last time I was in there, but they probably should've figured something out that didn't involve glass. Feels too much like a museum.
Last time I rode it, it was quite lame to be honest... It doesn't go very fast and the spins only happens sometimes, comparing insane to helix, is like comparing an ant to something way bigger than that ant.
@@BaconGurlPlaysROBLOX I unfortunately haven't been lucky enough to experience that over my two visits 😅 Unless you mean the thing poking your back halfway through the ride
Don't worry, I'm sure you'll have a great time! You don't have to ride everything if you don't want to, but if you do challenge yourself, I hope you'll love it!
They feel completely different. Jetline has many positive and lateral forces and high speeds and is overall smooth with minor jolts. Twister is more compact and odd in its flow with several strong airtime moments and a consistent wooden coaster vibration.
It used to be the tallest some time ago, although the Orlando Star Flyer is now the tallest one in the world at 450 ft (137 m) tall. 17 meters taller than Eclipse :) But Eclipse definitely is the tallest ride I've done and quite terrifying!
If u tell him its pronounced leeks, hes gonna think its like the onion/vegtable leek. Its more like ec in electricity. And like the english word shair rater than chär. Shair l(ec)s tunneln
