This was my husband’s and my favorite place to vacation. He passed away two weeks before lockdown in 2020 and I haven’t had the heart to look at all the photos he took over the years in Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon National Parks. I’ve been hiking Zion since 1983 and sadly the crowds are terrible now. The same has happened to Arches National Park where you cannot even get in after 9 a.m. we are loving these places to death. I really enjoyed your video!
Great summary of a beautiful landscape my dear friends 👍3👍Perfect informations⭐Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful video ⭐stay safe and connected ⭐Warm greetings from Germany 🇩🇪Frank
Wow a Shuttle , I think its just neat seeing the snow flakes coming down on your hike. I would like to stay at that lodge. The Tunnel look tight. Such wonderful views/
1st video of yours that I've watched. I am going on a solo 3 week southern Utah photography trip this late September. I have been on line watching/reading about Utah since January! This is one of the best videos I've seen on Zion! VERY informative & concise! I had read about almost all your suggestions, but you wrapped it all up in a great package!
ooh excellent! have an amazing time!! Zion's canyon walls are stunning on sunny days in the early morning and around sunset time! I have no doubt you'll have some amazing photos! If you can bike ride into the canyon with your photography gear, you'll get some awesome views along the scenic road too (and you won't be stuck on a shuttle bus- you can stop whenever you like for a nice shot).
That’s awesome experience you guys have there. I’m happy to watched how both of you enjoyed the adventure there. The view are stunning and I loves it. Thanks for this an excellent compilation. Have a wonderful week. Like L16 👍👍👍
Wow 😍😍... breathtaking view!👍👍... BEAUTIFUL!👍yeh..this looks like paradise!😍👍.. thank you for sharing your beautiful journey, adventure and experience with us guys!👍 take care and stay blessed friend!💐
I just now came across your videos. Very informative. I will be spending a night at the Zion Lodge in early March. About the same time of year you did. I sure hope I can see some of that fog. So dramatic! Thank you!
yes, thanks for the video summary! I watched it and it was a tremendous help!!! We did the Canyon Overlook Trail then the Pine Creek River bed w/ slot canyon as well based on this video. We really enjoyed that and would never have known about it if you didn't make this video. I wish we would have done the #1 Obseration point now that we are back home. That would have been fantastic. Thanks again for putting this video together...this made our 1st trip to Zion very enjoyable...
What an incredible park, wonderful virtual tour with you, thanks for your detailed explanation about things must be done there, it sounds so fun and so adventurous! Enjoyed it very much! Be safe always my friends! 👍👍😊
I did all three Emerald pools and then Narrows. All in the same day! I do not recommend doing both in the same day. I was on a bus tour and only had one day there. I hope to be back soon to actually enjoy both hikes!
@@TravelSzN The flooding was about 2 weeks before I got there. Water levels were down, flow of the Narrows was actually below normal. Did get into that heat wave. Temp every afternoon was around 105 (F). Most of us were up and gone by 6 or 7 in the morning, and were back by noon. Wonderful place. Been watching your videos on how to train for extreme hiking. Very good info.
Thanks for all this information ! Hope to start getting over to the States again. I enjoy travelling in the States and would definitely love Zion State Park !! Cheers, Don 👋
very informative... really great awesome park. I've just passed through this park .. nearly 30 years back.. Really wish I could travel there again and see more... really enjoyed watching..👍👍👍
Breathtakingly beautiful and interesting video, my friends !😍👍... Thank You very much for sharing !😘 Wish You a marvelous evening🌟 Warm greetings🌷 Arlette
Fantastic video again and awesome top 10 to do list. The dusting of the bushes with snow looks so beautiful. Zion National Park is so impressive. 👏👍 Kind regards, Michael
Great video as always and very good info about Zion, its trail system, activities and facilities available around the place and how to get there. Thumbs up all the way💕👍💯. Have a great weekend!
thank you for a very detailed easy to follow guides on the hikes. we went last December but only took the riverside and lower emerald falls due to our friends wants easy hike. plan to return possibly in July.
Lovely! Me and my family would like to visit Zion national park on March ( Easter vacation). If it’s snowing in March we won’t be able to go but I do want to visit Zion. The view is amazing! Thank you for the information.
You are an artist! Show some of your paintings! I'm an artist, too, all my life. So I'm interested, of course. One of the reasons I watch videos like this is for inspiration for my paintings... and I was really inspired to see the California Condors, and some other things in your awesome video, of course! But the condors were really unexpected :) Ok I subscribed...
Yay! An artist friend! Welcome :) I was so happy to see the condors! I will continue to sprinkle little bits of my artwork on this channel but I do have an art channel called The Painting Stoof which primarily is used for posting painting tutorials and art vlogs. Happy painting Robert!
Thanks for sharing the excellent hiking experience in Zion National Park! Toward the end of the video at 26:41, there was a mountain lit up by sunshine, where was this place and what time was it? I hope I can get to see the "golden mountain" when we visit Zion in September.
Hello! Sorry for the delayed response! That was the view from the Watchman Campground area looking west toward the mountains at sunrise, 7:50 AM on March 17, 2021! The Virgin River was flowing in the foreground. It was such an amazing sight in person! :D
Awesome Video! Where did you put Zedge while hiking the narrows or other non dog friendly trails? We're planning a trip to Zion and was unsure on where we can leave our pup while we're hiking the narrows.
Hi! We had Zedge in our travel trailer at our campground- we had electric hookups so the trailer was temperature controlled. I'm not sure of local boarding facilities - google maps may be able to provide some info for you- check the Springdale area!
Thank you for your great video, we’re heading to Zion end of May, is there a permit required for Scout lookout and is it lead to Angel landing? we will not doing Angel Landing but would love to hike to Scout lookouts or Wiggles if there aren’t required the permit.
Hello! It looks like you can get to Scout Lookout without an Angel's Landing permit. I would assume a ranger is stationed near that area checking permits to go onto Angel's Landing. More info about the hike here www.alltrails.com/trail/us/utah/scout-lookout-trail
Your video was very informative! We’ve been to Zion twice and we will be there for a day in 10 days. I think we’ll do the Many Pools hike (was not aware of that one) and the Watchman hike, which we haven’t done. Go Steelers! 👍👍
