I have the Golden Oud, I can say that this one was the one that got me started in this hobby. all my life I was never into perfumes, many times over the years I had been gifted popular mens colognes and although some smelled nice, I just never wore anything except on special occasions. Recently I was invited to a wedding and decided to get something to wear with my tux, I stopped by a perfume shop in a local mall, and they had some perfumes to sample, last time I walked into a perfume shop was probably the early 90s. I had no idea what perfumes were popular or good. there were two that caught my eye, one just so happened to be the very popular CDNIM, and the other was Golden Oud. I sprayed on each wrist. At first I didnt like neither of them, CDNIM smelled like lemon cleaner, and the golden oud was so different than anything I ever smelled before, obviously not Brut or Old Spice lol. but a few minutes later as I was walking around, the sillage was reaching my nose, and I really started to like these, both of them. the CDNIM which is a clone of Creed Aventus, became very rich and complex, and the Golden oud with it's deep "golden" sweet smoky woods, wow. I kept sniffing my wrist. Did some research on these online, and others, I ordered the Golden Oud, and instead of CDNIM I got another clone from Al Haramaine L'Aventure. supposedly had less of that lemon pledge blast in the opening. I also ordered a small oil sample discovery set of popular scents, I actually used one of those for that wedding invitation. anyway, I did fall in love with oud scents in general, I also have Ameer Al Oud by Lattafa, which is a different scent all together from Golden oud, and a few others. now I am a frag head, with over 50 bottles in my collection and use perfumes every day. be careful this can be addictive.
