@@jeremyhinze8837 No I don't, if anything it could be even a bit worse, but since George is into film making, it would seem to me that the production value would increase if he was free to just talk and that there would be no "hideous device" (quoting one of the above) that he would have to hold. But apparently, he and others think it's a part of his identity. So who am I to say it should change. :)
His videos are on another level. They are shot so uniquely and so well. He really should be the biggest in the community, not you know who. It’s a shame..
Most original and under-rated fragrance channel on RU-vid. Love how you let the niche stuff go toe to toe with the designer and also often talk about many lesser known designer frags. So many fragrance channels are stuck talking about the same damn 10 or 20 designer fragrances over and over (which may have more to do with the Amazon links in their video descriptions than their actual love for the fragrances...but I digress)
You and Chris at Fragmental are the best RU-vidrs in the frag community. Chris is the modern metrosexual man and you are the eccentric nutty professor taking us back to the 19th century. Both of you create amazing content like art and I hope Covid disappears so we can see more videos of the two of you together as you compliment one another perfectly.

First off. I’m so glad you’re back. And you’re back with a bang. I don’t know what camera you’re using but the cinematography is gorgeous. Crisp and clear. Warm. Inviting. Your list is phenomenal. Some cheapies. Some niche. Some designer. Some indie. Your list is all inclusive. Very unlike everyone else’s lists even though some same items. A lot of people like lists. I love them. Excellent list, George. I completely agree with your opinion of Ombré Leather. I’ve not worn it for a while but I somehow managed to accidentally move in with my girlfriend during Lockdown (true story, don’t ask), and since I’ve had access to my entire collection here for the first time ever, I’ve kinda ignored it as it was one of the ones I left here to wear around her, as she enjoyed, and I got bored with it. I think I MIGHT wear it tomorrow. I think it ALMOST makes TF’s Private Collection leather fragrances obsolete.
I so love autumn for fragrances, thats when all the fun and best ones come out to play, whats more your channel is the best about for this time of year for sure, just bought 250mls of feve del as thats my go to signiture , but sound like a few here match that i think i want to try out next , so cheers, oh and so right about royal oud, 1st sample i got really was’nt sure about it, put it to one side, went back a few months later to it, and bam..... totally got it, great one, have you tried spice and wood yet? Omg, that the best one of all time from creed, if you have’nt already, and i missed that vid, its a must, it blew my mind

Loved Ombré Leather from day 1. Picked it up a couple of years back and it works a great, gets broadly excellent reactions, performs well and great for the cooler months. Would love to smell Happyland but hard to come by in the UK (I’ve had Dior Ambre Nuit for a long time and enjoy it a lot). Dior Homme is great but not one my GF likes on me (too powdery) so one I enjoy a lot for myself - as you say, the original is still available this side of the pond.
I just recently came across AF and like you I always trashed clones but holy shit, it's a solid house. I did the math and I spent over $1000 on frags/decants last year - AF is a game changer. I've got a few frags from them now with 1981x being my fav so far (clone of Xerjoff.Naxos). This doesn't mean I'll stop buying the brand name stuff completely... but spending 42-65 on something vs 250-400 ... i dunno... unless you're a purist - it helps you stay within your means without stretching your budget. ' By the Fireplace is one of my fav scents of all time... just warm and cozy, reminds me of when I would go camping as a kid and it started snowing and me and my dad would get campfire going. It's just "one of those" scents that is a home run for me personally. TF Ombre Leather (2018) is another one I really like, it's a staple in my autumn rotation at the moment. It is one of my main 3 for the season. ' Creed Royal Oud, currently one of my favs in my collection - my recommendation as a gateway frag to the real Oud frags. It honestly should be called Royal Cedar... just doesn't sound right lol. That Jeke sounds very interesting. will be checking it out.

You think memoirs of a trespasser is "sickly sweet"? Hmm. I get much more clay, and smokiness than the sweet vanilla with that one. By the fireplace is a rare designer that is actually really good. I'm pretty sure every sensible fragrance fan likes royal oud more than aventus lol Really glad to see Prin get some recognition. Slumberhouse is of that almost mythical status. Some of the best of the best there is. A top 5 house in the world.
