The scenario, composition and filming of this video is outstanding... Congratulations! I'm glad you included Private Accord on this list... It has been one of my best enjoyed buys this winter 😉
Absolutely love the feel of this video; music, scenery, the vibes. Always can count on you to bring the vibes! I might be watching more for this reason (and for you of course!) than for the actual fragrances these days. Thanks for always bringing it, cheers George! 🧡
The sheer quality of the cinematography is beyond immaculate!! The sounds, the music, the visuals, the whimsical nature!!!!Super super talented videographer and editor you are. Bravo 👏🏽
Being a movie lover and somewhat an academician wannabe, I think this is the BEST place I always wanted to be for my FRAG "kicks"! This is where cinematography meets talent and knowledge in fragrance contents! George, you are the best of the rest! I hope other reviewers follow suit in keeping to quality content keeping up-to-date on style and content.
That video!!! That music!!! That outdoors!!! My favorites for Winter is PDM Layton exclusif, Le labo patchouli 24 and Amouage enclave. Much Love from Sweden 👍
Your fragrance journey is literally a journey you take us to. The way the background just fits the title is amazing. I must say, we dont have winter in our country, but i watch your videos regardless just because i trust your taste and there is always something i can takeaway be it new scents or new standards i should also adhere to as a fragrance enthusiast wanna be :)
And yet another masterpiece, George. You’re fragrance videos are works of art. Love these videos where you’re immersed in what beautiful aesthetics nature has to offer, all the while speaking about these elegant fragrances in the way that only you can. Awesome list too. I have a few of these, and totally agree with your take on them. I need to check out His Majesty the Oud! Thanks for all the wonderful content and be well! 👍🍻
Great production as always. My big go-to fragrances this Winter have been Stronger With You Intensely, Royal Oud, The One EDP, Individuel, and Herod. I've also been sampling Oud Wood.
I just started wearing fragrances a couple of months ago and your channel has quickly become my favourite fragrance review channel on RU-vid! The production quality and creativity that go into it are truly 2nd to none. Glad to see you passing 25k subs and starting to get the level of recognition your channel deserves! Keep up the great work :) P.s would love to see a dedicated review of Chanel Allure Homme Sport which I recently bought a bottle of!
I just love watching how you capture the English countryside. I have been wearing Angel Muse a lot this winter, right now I am wearing The Only One Intense which I didn't like at first but now I do. I also wear Ambre Loup which I bought in honor of a little baby I watched all the time over the summer named Rania. I also wear Oud Palao, Ani, D600, and several others..
What an outstanding production! I really like the technique put in your most recent work. Lately, I've been enjoying to wear a couple of fragrances, such as: Vanille Fatale, DHI, Spice Blend, African Leather and Noir Extreme.
George, I love your videos. I start watching since Sept and didn't missed one. Trying to make some by myself. Mainly for information purpose for PL audience, but also in EN on other ch. Based on you recommendations - I got both The Scents (Abs/Priv Acc), but also I like Stronger with You, Azzaro-wanted by night,, Black Afgano, Pegasus, TF Tabaco Vanilla, Boss bottled Intense....and, the most used are both Encre Noire and A L'Extreme version
Thanks for a lovely list again for me to try. The ones I'm enjoying this winter: Whispers in the Library & By the Fireplace (Maison Margiella), Mûre et Musk Extrème (L'artisan parfumeur), Apple Brandy and Intoxicated (Killian), Safari Extreme (Al Qurashi), and Indonesian Oud (Zegna)
@@TheFragranceApprentice It shows! Thank you for revisiting that style of video, I wouldnt mind waiting another 4+ years! Let me just link the 2016 video for anyone who is curious ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1cJd4sMKBFs.html
I could watch this video by high cost production company all day. Love the filming, the music and the graphics. You should get your own TV show where you give you awesome reviews
Excellent job,the scennery is a straight 10. I love that nr.1 , I would also recommand you to try Atkinsons Grand Pirates Reserve and Atkinsons Tulip Noir. 👍👍
Winter's been a funny one for me. I've started to gravitate toward the boozy, gourmand, sweet...in a way that I never have before. As a result, I've been wearing Creation E/Enigma and Herod quite a bit. But I really wanted to touch on Victorian Tobacco. Like you, I had some problems with it (though I've been really enjoying the 3 Galleria offerings I own). As a result, I got Apple Tabac from Pineward Perfume. It's a very similar scent profile to VT, but it smooths out the edges. Highly recommend.
One of my favourite videos yet & easily the one with the BEST cinematics. You’re really carving out your own niche on this side of RU-vid. P.S, as someone else who wants to get into the film industry, what camera are you using?
Hi mate, I love your indepth knowledge of this industry. I would love a video exploring a timeline of the most popular mens fragrances where you explore the evolution of trends etc.
Funny feve’d fallen from grace, its prob one of my number 1’s ever however only done 10ml of it this year, compared to last year easy 60ml, but will always be a fave just cheaper on my wallet now lol, guna get abother 250ml end of the year before it disapears , still got 230ml left now from bottle i bought on october lol, sm cafe and by the fire place took over this year, not like we can be out and about to be appreciated, new one i adore that i had for xmas, was trepassers, omg you was so right, its ever so special, so many layers ! I’ll check out no.4 sample when i order city on fire at end of the month which you describe perfectly
I carry a sample of City on Fire with me to work. You missed Creed Royal Out, my all time favorite winter fragrance. My most worn fragrance this winter, the original Spicebomb, which I also carry to work. I'm wearing it now actually.
George, you are taking fragrance reviewing to another level. Original and engaging. Love the fact that you paint a picture of how you perceive the fragrances, not just throw out bunch of information that can be easily found at Fragrantica. Also very happy to see you mention Victorian Tobacco in this video. I would love if you could kindly do a full review of it. Thanks
On the colder days I have been trying to grab Chanel Coromandel, Carolina Herrera Mystery Tobacco, Armani Prive Ambre Eccentrico, or Dior Homme Intense...it's hard with so many good winter scents that even the best ones only get a couple wearings.
Unpopular opinion: but this guy make videos farrrrrrrrrr superior than his buddy, Jeremy. Btw, a better mic like the Rode Go would do you justice ;) cheers!
I adore your visuals, editing, and personal presentation/description in your videos. Second to none. These are the scents I've been wearing a lot as of late: Safari Extreme - ASaQ Shaghaf Oud - Swiss Arabian Sehr Al Kalemat & Arabian Knight - Arabian Oud Soul - Costume National Toy Boy - Moschino His Majesty The Oud - Atkinsons Cuir Cafe & Plum Loco - Happyland Studio Noir Ambre - Issey Miyake Red Tobacco - Mancera Molecule 02 - Escentric Molecule Honey Aoud - Montale
Hey! His majesty the oud smells great, thank you for the recommendation. It reminds me of the softdrink ‚root beer‘. But what i can‘t stand is the smell of my clothes the next day - it smells like cheap hairspray. Horrible. Do you get that too?
Bruv, all we wanna know is the name of that soundtrack. As well as to say that you provide very good videos. My winter fragrance is stronger with you by Armani.
I bought a decant of Atkinsons His Majesty the Oud on your suggestion. (I don't have any other oud, as my girlfriend hates it.) IT IS AMAZING, and I just placed an order for a full bottle! (Have you tried Oud Save the King?)
this is fantastic to hear! I have smelt OSTK but it was quite a while a go! So i can't give you a reliable opinion. I'm so happy you enjoy this one. :)
When applying winter or dense woody fragrances with a cooler body temperature, would the projection be reduced? How can someone with cooler body/skin temperature wear heavier fragrances with better projection?
For me Victorian Leather is too astringent and comes across as a bit of a mess. However Cognac Csfe from the same line is a real pleaser and a great winter fragrance.
