The PlayStation 4 had a wealth of incredible games and these are the cream of the crop. For this list, we’re taking a look at the best titles we saw throughout the PlayStation 4’s life cycle. Do note that we are only including exclusives, and we are not counting cross-gen titles. Our countdown includes “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” (2016), “Bloodborne” (2015), “LittleBIGPlanet 3” (2014), “Horizon Zero Dawn” (2017), and more! Which of these games do you feel is a requirement for every PS4 owner to play? Let us discuss in a civil manner down in the comments.

Medievil and Shadow of the Colossus are prime examples of what remasters should be like. They stay true to their original games without getting unnecessarily cartoony, and are faithful to their original games designs with only minute exceptions in Medievil, and the fact that they kept the original dialogue in both games, with minute exceptions in Medievil, makes them feel even more faithful, unlike Crash N.Sane and Spyro Reignited which I thought were such disappointments

I have a PS5 now but watching this video made me realize what a valuable purchase my PS4 was. All the hours with these incredible games , worth every dime. The only critique I have of the list is that Detroit: Become Human should have been higher.

Same thing happens when ever a new console happens it takes them a few years to Make it all exclusive. As games eventually get more demanding they Will be unable to run them on ps4 so will have to run them on the stronger system. The probably will cross gene games which are easy to run like 2d platformers as they are easily run. I’m just trying to explain the system and not trying to be an a hole

I would days ghost is must buy if you like storys/ story gameplay. I recently got on ghostunner and have really enjoyed that if you like a game that has real challenge you can come back to every now and then 🤷‍♂️ if you like feeling like a badass with a sword I’d highly recommend, watch gameplay first 👌🏼

TLOU2 was/is an incredible game regardless of what people say. Admittedly, I was a bit upset when I had to play as Abbey, but the more I played with her the more I enjoyed it. Definitely deserves a play if you haven’t experienced it.

Could have made a good trilogy. Play the second part playing as Joel and Ellie after the first game. Ending it off with Joel’s death. Then we play as Abby in the third game and Ellie as well.

I think the narrator speaks for us all who love Bloodbourne, including myself. Considering it blew the original Dark Souls out of the water in almost every way, and considering that many to this day put the game in such high regard (and that’s even after the release of Elden Ring), the fact From Software still hasn’t released a 60fps version of the game is a travesty that need less to be rectified ASAP.

I still remember in Days Gone burning a simple Nest to then reveal a cave entrance and a swarm emerging from it. I was very lucky my bike was not far away and pointing away from the flok. But after that I always leave my bike pointing away from nests and swarms in case I have to flee.

I'm not a big fan of the story because oh what happens to the main characters of the first game, Joel gets brutally murdered early on while the entire game tells me what a horrible person he was, meanwhile Ellie goes on a rampage making one bad decision after another and then repeating them eventually to the point that I didn't even like Ellie anymore by the time the game ends, Abby I'm simply disappointed because I felt like she could've had a great opportunity with her learning the whole revenge is bad plot but instead her actions are not only supposed to be justified but she never acknowledges how her hunting Joel led to the loss of her friends, not to mention she's basically Joel's replacement of the franchise. Mind you this is my opinion on why I don't like the story, the gameplay and graphics are phenomenal that definitely deserves the praise and the whole hate towards the creators and voice actors was very stupid on the fans part, it's one thing to not like the game but it's another issue if you start sending death threats that makes me so mad. Anyways hope this helps.

Uncharted is the best PlayStation game for the PS4 but… It’s a sequel and would be a hard entry point for new players. Therefore the true best PS4 PlayStation game is actually Spider-Man. PS3 it was hard to choose between Uncharted and Last Of Us both received sequels for PS4 that was great and neither makes the top 3??Ghosts is great but it’s appeal isn’t comparable to Spider-Man. Everyone could play Spider-Man whereas Ghosts is aimed towards a mature audience.
