One of the most underrated players in the eyes of public opinion. Guy has played 3 Grand Slam finals, which not even Sinner, Zverev, Tstsipas have achieved. I hope he is going to be in better shape in 2024. The competition is merciless.

Reached all 3 GS final with relative easy draws, never beaten top 10 player in GS. Never won any title above 250 level. Not underrated at all.

Once Casper finds consistent confidence at the highest level I expect him to rise back into the top 6. He is so talented and so humble, I and many others want only good things for him.

He has flashy shots in him. Hes very disciplined which can be good but i feel it limits him. It really hinders his killer instinct. Still one of my favorite players!

Frickin love watching Ruud man. Really think he's such a good player, and lot of people don't understand it... Yet. Even though they should, especially after this year's Roland Garros... but either way, a few shots also I could have added here- tweener volley winner vs Dimitrov in San Diego; that match was a shotmaking epic. also he hit a perfect return off an Auger Aliassime overhead in the same game he hit that lob winner in Canada... that performance was a masterpiece

He had a complicated season this year but oh how I love him, he's good, he just needs a bit more determination and tactic. I truly hope 2024 will be good to him, it was so difficult to be his fan this szn

Ruud is one of the best at chasing down lobs. Has one of the best over the shoulder no look smashes, can chase around the ball and smack it with his top sling forehand, and he even has a really good tweener lob in his bag if those don’t work.

He’s got a few things that he can keep improving that could easily make him a multiple time French open champion, and even possibly a US open/atp finals winner by the time he’s 30. His backhand topspin, slice, and touch is already improving a ton so he just needs to keep doing that. He needs to keep learning when to be more aggressive with his playstyle and shot selection sometimes, ESPECIALLY with his weapon forehand, and lastly his serve is already rly good for his height, but if he can raise the 1st serve PERCENTAGE a bit more, than he wont rly have any weaknesses in his game left after those things

That’s like Alcaraz’s one tournament highlights. Ruud reaching three grand slam finals while only having to beat one top 10 player is the biggest mystery of the last two seasons. I like his character a lot, but tennis wise he is not the most exciting player out there.
