I feel like Lust for Dusk is a masterpiece. The contrasting warm and cool, bit of plum and pink with coral and copper, the stormy dusk theme and packaging, the variety of formulas especially those creamy flaky ones. Trouble Maker is a great grungy 90s tones story. I also love That’s Taupe and Not a Box of Chocolates. Taupe and brown are key! I’d recommend any of these 4 for solid neutral palettes that are fun to use.
Loveeee Lust For Dusk the sparkly shimmers are so insanely beautiful and the color story is one of the most unique they've ever done. Also love Not A Box Of Chocolates the 16 pans become some of my absolute faves wish they would do that format more.

Lust for Dusk is EXTREMELY underrated!! It has a columns for each of some seriously universal quad-color stories, and they all mix well together. It's like everything a mega palette is trying to be. So good.
Good Sport would be a great one to bring back because it's so unique in color story to the Colourpop line up. I like So Jaded a bit better myself because it makes more sense for my brain.
Yess, I think it's one of the color stories that has held up well over time, they should totally bring it back. Maybe like a "memory lane" limited edition collection where they revive a couple discontinued palettes according to public demand? 🤔 That could be interesting
Before Colourpop churned out weekly palettes, 2 to 3 years ago I started buying all the OG releases and am SO glad I did!! I was able to get Good Sport and All I See is Magic in brand new condition and many others!! I have more than 115 I think!!!
Ever since I bought Stone Cold Fox, I've been in love with the Magnetic Moon shadow. I've gotten compliments when I wear it. Whenever I mention SCF, I mention that shadow. I even emailed ColourPop to see if they could release it as a single. Magnetic Moon is my all time favorite shadow I own. It's easy to use. You barely have to touch the shade, it goes on smooth and boy is it pigmented. It lasts all day. You can see your eyes from outer space. Absolutely gorgeous.
I really love Wild Nothings (I'm a green-eyed ginger with very fair skin and its just a great everyday palette for me!) Blush crush, and The Child palette Are also ones i use quite a bit (I actually found your channel because of your review of The Child palette and you are by fair my fave!). I also picked up the large Star Wars palette during its last restock and am really enjoying it (it has some beautiful neutrals and some really pretty duo chromes). I also picked up the Roaring Hearts palette last year after it got clearanced out, and it has really become a go to for me. It's size and the mirror make it a perfect palette when i travel (with a bunch of supershocks)! I also feel the Gather round sisters is a special palette that I wear all fall and winter! Limencello is so good!!! And High Tide is such a unique palette that really didn't get much attention, When it was released I did so many searches for reviews of it, but there weren't that many. I am a green palette hoarder and I place High tide with my greens but its really such a pretty blue-green color story!
So jaded is my all time favourite palette ever from colourpop, the supershock diamond shade in that palette is just amazing and no other shade compares. My other favourites are at forest sight, sweet talk, going coconuts, off melrose, it's a mood and strawberry shake!✨💖
I lusted over It’s a Mood for so long and now I hardly use it. I feel like I love looking at it with all the jewel tones all together more than actually creating looks with it. I’m thinking of trying to do a “no pan left behind” or “level up” pan thing with it just to remind myself how great it can be… these were great choices! I just used my limoncello shadow stick yesterday!
Limoncello is one that snuck up on me, it's so good, I have a good dip in it. I've panned 2 shades of the Lilac you alot. And after this video I now have the trouble maker palette on my wishlist.
I haven’t tried a ton of Colourpop palettes, but Lust for Dusk and Of Quartz are two of my top three owned palettes of all time and I have tried a good number of palettes.
I use Limoncello and Lush Life together so often during the summer. I almost missed Limoncello, so I’m glad I picked it up! Easy Peasy is such a good one shade shadow too. And I love the Tinkerbell one! Aurora Struck is the last palette I actually bought from Colourpop and it’s just my dream color story. Only I would like a matte purple in there. It’s A Mood is my favorite mega though, I use it so much for summer and fall! I decluttered So Jaded for the same reason you stated; I loved the colors but didn’t reach for it bc of the organization.

We have quite a few of the same favorites, I bought Orchid You Not because of you and Angelica Nyquists constantly recommending it and it became one of my all time faves. I also have Lilac You A Lot and I think they are two completely different color stories of purple that I own both and they both contribute something different to my collection. My Top 5 currently are 1. So Jaded 2. Harry Potter 3. Lust For Dusk 4. Orchid You Not 5. Wine & Only. I also loveee Limoncello, Plush Like Me, Ornate, In The Springs, Rudolph, Nude Mood, and Not A Box Of Chocolates. Ugh too many faves!! The Midnight Masquerade is my all time fave Disney one. Great palettes as always!!
Watching this video, I realize that I am officially an Amanda disciple when it comes to eye shadow. I've bought so many of the palettes you listed (on your recommendation and using your code!) and seeing them in this video just made me smile. Here's hoping that Trouble Maker somes back into stock eventually, as I am experiencing intense FOMO having missed that one. Great video, as per usual Amanda!
I love your list! Especially stoked to see Off Melrose on here -- its mix of muted colors, interesting neutrals, and duochromes is exactly what I want in a palette. I get similar vibes from the So Fly and Glow Getter palettes, which I love even though I admit the formula isn't Colourpop's best.
Great selections! My number 1 top favorite, by far, is The Child. I have red hair and gold/green eyes and most green shadows make my eyes look dull, but these are perfect. I’m also very fair, so appreciate it doesn’t go too, too deep. I also love Stone Cold Fox and Lilac you a lot. Wish I’d gotten Limoncello, but had the UD Honey palette or whatever it was called so thought I didn’t need it.
We have very similar tastes. I don't have all of the pallets, since I only started getting into Colourpop in 2020. I hesitated too long on Aurora Struck and Troublemaker, so I really hope they restock, and of course I'd love to get my hands on All I see is Magic or Good Sport. The only two that come to mind (without looking at my collection) that you didn't include are (Mandalorian) The Child and Lust for Dusk.
Smoke N Roses, In the Springs, the hello kitty quads, and Plush Like You have been my absolutely favorites! In the Sprints and the quads are so vibrant and I like using the other 2 as neutral palettes
Really loving the mega palettes-aurora struck and smoke n roses. Also my favorite purchased it twice is the frozen 2 Elsa palette. Glad they improved their glitter formula! Feeling makeup nostalgia now.

I think my favorite CP palette is probably the Baby Yoda The Child palette. I've never watched The Mandalorian & I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, the colorstory just really works for me as a go-to neutral palette. And of course the package artwork is adorable. I use it alone or combine it with the Tinkerbell palette since the lighter, neutral pink shades in that palette don't show up at all on my eyes so they are kind of useless as transition shades 😢 but I love the shimmery rose brown shade & of course the amazing greens & super cute packaging. Tinkerbell just isn't a stand alone palette for me. I am a huge Tinkerbell fan & my office is actually Tinkerbell/DisneyFaeries themed (complete with lilac walls & green shag rug) I have the box packaging of both these palettes displayed in my office 😊
I‘m using the flutter by palette from Colourpop at the moment 🦋 also an oldie but a goodie 💜 and my absolute favorite is the child palette! Too cute 🥹💚
Colourpop is such an underrated brand. I know people get flustered at them releasing so many pallets all of the time, but their pallets are on point and great quality. I have a lot of favorites but I’ve used the That’s Taupe pallet most from them. In fact I just repurchased it. I love Stone Cold Fox, Not a Box of Chocolates and It’s a Mood. Not a Box of Chocolates has the best quality of any Colourpop pallet that I’ve tried thus far. So amazing. Now I want to go order a bunch of pallets after watching this!
I have a smaller Colourpop palette collection, obviously. But my favourites are On cloud blue, lilac you a lot, orchid you not, high tide and so jaded. Unfortunately, It's my pleasure doesn't work well for me, not as good as the others regarding pigmentation and blendability. I love this video! And I also love that you have included discontinued palettes. For me, you have won!
I own 4 of the ones on your list. Totally agree on them (Tinkerbell, Lush Life, It's A Mood, Lilac You A Lot). My husband proposed to me at Disneyland on the Peter Pan ride as we were flying over London, so he got me the whole Tinkerbell collection for our anniversary when it came out and I still us almost everything from that collection. That's probably my fave CP palette or Star Wars.
Great video. My faves are the child, high tide and all amethyst. I used to wish for a lot of the discontinued palettes but I’ve realised my tastes run to lighter cool tones x

Next time there is a sale on mega palettes get yourself a couple and use them as extras to match and replace the glitter shades. I’m not a glitter fan and this made all a huge difference with my feelings for an usage of my CP palettes.
Good Sport is what got me into Colourpop and is the high bar set for CP color stories/collections after for me. All the colors work together seamlessly and have such richness and depth to it 🥰🥰 Even the collection that palette came from was so different and fresh. Wish CP would bring back these classics so others who missed out can get them. Limoncello, Through My Eyes, and Give It to Me Straight are the only other 'large' palettes I have, and they're all great. Along w/ Brown Sugar (not your ordinary neutral palette!), It's My Pleasure, Lilac You A Lot (gotta 💜💜 the purple and the sparkly duochromes!), and Ooh La La (I use some shades as blush) are my personal favorites from their monochromatic collections. If I didn't have similar colors elsewhere I would love to have Aurora Struck and Lush Life --- those two are gorgeous! Thanks so much for the nostalgia trip! 🥰🥰
One of my favorite Colourpop palettes is actually one that got a lot of bad reviews and I'm glad I didn't listened to them lol. It's Garden Variety palette that has some neutrals, peachy corals, purples and a pop of green. I adore all those colors.
I love that one too! Sometimes I open it up just to admire the color story, haha. Synergy is surprisingly gorgeous as a highlighter too for me. Scratches the itch for a mint highlight 😍

I bought a backup of “It’s My Pleasure” during a great sale. I love purples & adore Mr. Sandman & Earthshine! I pull out those 2 shades for many other looks with other palettes.
I was sooo tempted to get Trouble Maker when it dropped but find I can create very similar looks by pairing the Gotta Agate quad with Of Quartz. I may still get Box Of Chocolates but I live in a small space and have good quality browns and neutral metallics.
The not a box of chocolates is definitely a new favorite of mine. I totally think Colourpop would still be able to move units if the brought the hood sport back
I would love some tutorials from you on High Tide. I got it for similar reasons - seemed like a blue leaning palette I could actually see myself wearing, but I remain very intimidated! :-P
Love this ranking video! I love that Shell We 9 pan too. I soooo wish I had the Aurora palette. My experience with this one really got me irritated with Colourpop and their customer service: I waited like 2 weeks after release to pick it up (yea I get that that was my first mistake, I know 😂), and what arrived at my doorstep was everything I had ordered EXCEPT the palette. I had to send 3 emails over the course of 7 days to get an answer!! Low and behold, it was sold out! It made me so frustrated that they oversold their stock and there's been no restock! Ugh 😢
My sis had the All I See is Magic palette and she threw it away just before I started collecting CP palettes back in 2019. It was such a pretty palette 😓
Not me having all the 3 purple palettes you mentioned plus Off Melrose lol I'm also a fellow purple lover and those 3 are amazing 😍 just this Sunday I used It's My Pleasure and Lilac You A Lot to create a beautiful sunset look (pinks and purples + gold inner corner * chef's kiss *). I remember using Orchid You Not for New Year's and I felt sooo pretty (it's probably my favorite palette but shhh), there really is something special about purple eyeshadow, it just hits different. I'm also partial to darker, vampy tones so that's probably why hahah. If anyone reading this has similar tastes as me, I also highly recommend Wine & Only, that and OYN are probably two of the best releases from CP imo
I gotta say, At Forest Sight was the palette that introduced me to Colourpop and made me want to go on the site and get it. Unfortunately it was out of stock for a long time and I was broke at the time it was briefly restocked (last year I think? Maybe 2021) so I was never able to get it but it was very good collab. Sadly pretty much the same thing happened with the Gather Round Sisters palette but at least I can recreate the color story with other palettes I already have :')
I have been waiting for Aurora Struck since it sold out and I don't understand why they haven't restocked it. It got such good reviews, didn't it? 🥺 I don't want to make another order from ColourPop until they restock it as internationally shipping is expensive.. 😅
Can you do a video on how to move around colors with colorpop? I don't ever use the glitter or matte with glitter. I rather put in something I think I'd use more often
I’ve found it really easy to depot Colourpop palettes. All I do is stick the point of a tweezer or something really thin in between the pan and the cardboard and it pops right out
Bare Necessities Lush Life Orchid you not Is what I also own in my collection!! I feel like I need to start using lush life… I probably only used 1-2 shades and that’s it ! i forgot how beautiful and colorful it is !! ( maybe I need to find a way to make it work with my chartreuse yellow-green colored eyes …..)
I own: Give it to me straight, Anna, That’s taupe, Creamsicle and Boudoir Noir and I love them all!! I actually also had going coconuts but I didn’t like it as much (which is surprising considering the hype surrounding it) so I gave it to a family member. It only shows we all have different preferences 😊

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person in the world who loves the Wild Nothing palette but it was so good to me when I was first learning to do eyeshadow because it's virtually impossible to overdo it with it. Also I wish they could have done something to repackage the Sandstone palette because it performed like a beast and it's two greens are amazing. I understand why it needed to go, of course, but for a company who people complain about duping themselves I don't think I've seen them make a replacement.
I almost didn’t buy Going Coconuts because I didn’t think I would use it much. However, it's my most used, the label is disappearing, most shades have pan and I got a replacement for the middle shade.

I talked myself out of Troublemaker and Aurora in the last while. I actually haven't been buying as much ColourPop as I used to. Even though their policies have shifted a bit, they still suck for compensating damaged products. I recently shopped there again, and one of the gel liners came totally busted. They were like, "here's a code for the sale amount, but you can't use it on any sale items, or combine it with any other codes, AND you only have 40 days to use it." It's such BS; not really any better than their old, "just deal with it" attitude toward customer service. Anyway. As far as Troublemaker goes, I figured that between Stone Cold Fox and It's My Pleasure/Lilac You A Lot, plus all the other pallets I have, I could live without it. I did the same thing with the Tinkerbell and Lemonchello palettes, and I'm having major regrets about the former, at least. I got the supershock bundle for Tinkerbell, so that's a thing. Lemonchello is too warm for me anyway; I can take any of the neutral browns in my collection, and pair them with yellows and blues that would be far more flattering on me. For some reason, though, every time I hear about it I'm like, "damn! You coulda had that!" 😂 Actually, I have a whole stash of completely virginal ColourPop palettes that I think I might sell off. I bought a backup of SCF (with the brush set bundle) because I'm a weirdo. How could I get through one huge Stone Cold mega palette in my lifetime, let alone TWO? I haven't used any of the brushes either, because I've got another complete set. Plus a ton from Rèphr, Morphie, Mac, Cliodnah, Luxie, Bdellium Tools, Royal and Langnickel, and assorted other random brushes. If anyone wants to do a trade for the SCF and brush set, holler at me. I've been thinking a lot about that lately. How cool would it be for 2 strangers who are beauty product obsessed, who have giant collections with many untouched/unswatched/BNIB items, to exchange emails, tell eachother what gaps they have in their collections, and make up surprise boxes for eachother? Or even straight swap x amount of dollars in palettes/skincare/blushes/whatever? Like, "I'll send you a, b, and c and you send me x, y, and z.." I feel like that would be better than a mystery box from a company, because you'd pair up with a person and go over both of your skin tone/level, and colour/product preferences. You wouldn't be getting anything you wouldn't use or like. Or: go through our collections, figure out what we're willing to part with (that's virginal/BNIB...heck, even powder products that have only been swatched, or gently used, then sanitized?) and post a list of everything. People could check out said list, maybe ask for photos of the gently used items, and either buy or trade comparable items. This would be less of a RU-vid thing, though. Probably Reddit, Instagram or Facebook would be better venues for this. I bet there's already something like this out there, already.
i tried only a few but my favs are the child, that‘s taupe, and honourable mention to baby got peach, i really like the mattes there and most of the shimmers are okay, hate the glitter, SSS would be so much better 🤡
i am still waiting for Aurora palette, which i missed due to shippment getting lost on the way from US 2 times. I am wondering why it takes so long to get it back, even if it s not limited edition.
So, I’ve been waiting for Aurora Struck to come back in stock, along with Wine and Only for….. EVER. Troublemaker is on my list but keeps going in and out of stock. Lush Life, Limoncello, Good Sport … all on my list of wompwompwompsadtromboneregret (missed out).
