The Grim Reaper was just waiting for another idiot to test their fate on the edge of the Grand Canyon....like the best place to go to catch fish for fishing.
@@TimTE01 Just some "freaking branches"? There's a point where skepticism metastasizes into belligerent stupidity. Clearly, it was a freaking plastic bag in the branches. Embrace the mystery!
There is a part of the brain that recognizes human faces, even out of random objects and shadows. The best example is the 'Man on the Moon' face. This would explain the S.S. Watertown Haunting 'faces' in the water.
Double exposure was very common in film development in older cameras. Everyone has boxes full of old family photos and there is always a few that were double exposed and look weird or strange. The one with the boys is easy. Boys are boys and one of them ducked down and stuck his thumb up right as the picture was taken.
Or it was easily photoshopped. Who in their right mind blindly trusts a random redditor with no one actually digging into it. Not saying it's fake. But it's a 50/50 chance with the internet.
@@poolside123canadian7 ....Time to go to work, Work all night, Search for underpants yay! We won't stop until we have underpants! Yum tum yummy tum tay.....
#17 has been explained, i've seen the pic where they adjusted the exposure and you can see it's a lady in a blue and white dress with a white wide brimed hat. the exposure is just washed out that makes her look like that. and that hampton court one was admitted to be a fake, it was an employee in a cloak
Can we just take the time to thank the ghost for being impeccable with the timing. When it counts they never fail to hit their mark. All honesty. Love the channel and ty the content. Have a great Father's day everyone 🤗🍻
I lived in China from 2012-2016, and every year around the time of Tiananmen Square, all internet would go down for 2-5 days, except for Weibo (which is China's state-sponsored version of facebook) where they monitored every message and upload to prevent people either discussing it or spontaneously gathering publicly to protest. It was like a 'guessing game' every year to find out how the Chinese public would 'encode' the phrase (usually using some other common trite expression) to refer to it during those days. I wish I could remember some of the substitution phrases they came up with but I'm blanking out. But even as an expat with a VPN, you simply could not get online for anywhere from a few days to a full week, the government were SO paranoid of any public recognition of it or any public expressions/reactions/references to it. They literally just 'pretend it doesn't exist' and hope people will forget it if they can't talk about it. Because ignorance and avoidance are always so effective.
That always takes me back to the meme: "Look a UFO! Quick, find the worst camera we got!" Its funny how those kinda things are never seen on cameras with todays standards. Cus then we can prove how fake they are
Literally, there's no excuse with the "ghosts caught on camera" pictures and videos of the last couple of years. Where's all the iPhones at?? Why can a ring doorbell take a 1080p of a bee in the neighbours garden but when it comes to proof of the afterlife the only thing to hand is a camera made from a potato being held by someone riding a bucking broncho.
The Solway Firth Spaceman was solved years ago, when you look at the other photos taken that day you can clearly see the girl's mother in the background wearing the same head scarf and dress that is simply overexposed and out of focus. When you put all the images together side by side you can see that the "Spaceman" is her mother who was present at the time. Speaking of mothers, the backseat ghost was also debunked nearly 50 years ago. The guy in the front seat double exposed an image of his mother in law and put her in the back seat but it was revealed to be a hoax when a photography expert pointed out the fact that the scarf on the "ghost" overlapped the interior of the car door. He basically badly photoshopped his wife's dead mom for attention.
Easy debunk: What does it look like: a picture of a family and a thing dropping into it. What it doesn't look like: a picture of a family that _happens_ to have a thing dropping into it. It's staged as fuck. What sort of sociopath takes a group picture of their family off center with a giant empty wall?
The extra hand photo literally could be a photo glitch while taking the picture, look at the motion of the boy right next to where the hand is, he was in the process of putting his hand over the other boys shoulder 1:55 This is further proven by the fact that the photo itself looks older which would mean the camera would also be older to where glitches are more prominent
That kids left arm is the biggest photoshopped fail I've seen in a long time. The one wrapped around the left shoulder of the kid next to him not the thumb stuck out one. I do photo editing so I know a flakey shop when I see one.
To be honest the more I look at #19 all I'm seeing is a balding shirtless man standing a bit away from the boys, and he has his arms raised and bent so he could fold his hands behind his head. What do you think? I mean it almost looks like a hand giving a thumbs up. But more like a man with his hands behind his head.
That one does not even require any glitches or photoshop. You could easily do it just by getting a kid to crouch behind the others and put up his hand.
Since the 1960’s my dad was into photography. More specifically manipulating photographs. He had a dark room in our house and developed his own film. He got into digital photography and videos in the last 20 years. After seeing what he could do with trick photography, none of these look particularly interesting.
@@apatheticxmindsetx3549 not exactly looking at specific features of the photos. I’ve just seen hundreds of photos my dad created with “anomalies” that, to the average person that doesn’t know or understand how to manipulate photos, would appear as irrefutable evidence of something other worldly or paranormal.
Ah but have you considered watchmojo wouldn’t be able to make half of the dumb recycled videos if they did any research. Or worse have done the research but choose to ignore it for the same reason 🤷🏻♂️
When I was younger I would constantly see shadow people roam or stand around in our old house(even heard a few whispers and laughs). At first I thought it was my imagination until my sister confirmed she saw them too. Nothing too scary ever happened, just a few things went missing or moved. I might have taken a few pictures before but I never bothered to save them. I really should have. Edit: I should mention when we eventually moved out the house suddenly decided to start falling apart and even a portion of the roof caved in.
Double exposures. For anyone who doesn’t know, that’s when pictures get developed on top of one another. The Golden Girls did a great episode involved with double exposures where Blanche looked like she was sleeping with Rose’s husband but it was just a picture of her in bed with someone else on TOP of a picture of Rose’s husband.
The Hampton Court ghost has always given me chills! That “man” opening and closing the doors doesn’t look human. And the employees DID NOT wear uniforms that looked like that!
something happened to me and my best friend years ago when we were in high school, before my transition and to be honest it still creeps me out to this day..I went to an all girls high school and before it was just a regular day school it was a boarding school and a little girl who was wearing her pink night gown fell down the stairs and broke her neck on the way to wash up for bed..fast forward to early 2000’s where the rumour was the “pink lady” haunts the school and I didn’t believe that kinda stuff until one day my bestie and I were at school till after 7 at night cause of basketball practice and my dad being late to pick us up, so we hung out with the security guard at the front of the school cause we were the only students there..we decided to go to the water cooler to drink some water and we were headed to the building the pink lady died at, when all of a sudden I see a flash of pink almost like a curtain blowing in the wind, there were no curtains btw. I stopped in my tracks suddenly and so did my bestie, we stopped talking at the same time too, so I asked her did you just see that? And she said yes, so I know it wasn’t my imagination…we turned around and booked it back to the gate, water be damned…
Of course there's no alteration with the Tulip staircase ghost, someone was standing there. Why on earth would you take a bizarre angle like that of the staircase anyway? You cut off it's best features. It makes no sense.
Interestingly enough, someone pointed out that there is a second 'ghost' on the steps. Look at where the lead hand is. It's to instant from the main figure to be that figure's hand. It's two figures, one clearer than the other.
A couple of years ago, I was on a day hike in a local park. Several times, I felt something was following me. I looked back, nothing. In the way back to my car, something slammed into me, and drove me straight down into the ground. Not pushed, went straight down. Broke my wrist, seven stitches, black eye. I heard and saw nothing. This was at the top on my shoulders. No one knows what it was. Could not have been human, unless it was ten feet tall and pounded me straight down into the ground. I was interviewed on local Fox channel. Some theorized it was Big Foot, but this was an urban park in Sacramento. TBH, it felt like God or a bolt out of the blue. Heard nothing, saw nothing.
@@y69j1 LOL. A broken wrist? Broken glasses? Seven stitches? I never lost consciousness. I ended up not lying down, but on my hands and knees. A trip on a trail does not lead to those kind of injuries. I still remember the shove on TOP of my shoulders. Shaq was nowhere near. Ranger theorized a mountain lion, but I was not bitten, saw nothing, heard nothing, smelled nothing. Mom and 6 year-old son saw nothing either, they were one minute back of me. If it was that, why only two points of contact, on top of my shoulders? One thing I know; I did not faint.
@@scottslotterbeck3796 ok with these extra details, maybe not. Was concerned about your helath as the basic story was similar to a patient case history I had
My mom told me she saw a ufo when she was about 5 in Maine and told her mom (my grandmother) about this and she didn’t believe her and 2 days later the newspaper was asking anyone who saw this to call the number. And my mom wanted to call but my grandmother wouldn’t let her
I saw three things in the sky that I can't find logical explanations for at all, all last year and all at around 5am when I was running in the dark and all alone. I later read that a book was being made with a compilation of all the strange UFO sightings that had suddenly begun in our area. So I'm glad there are others as crazy as me. No one believes me but I've seen nothing before or since
For the Hampton court ghost, if it's not hurting anyone or anything, leave it alone. No need for an exorcist if it's just opening and closing the doors. Maybe it's just airing out the place when it gets too stuffy.
20: Forget about the ghost. What is up with the woman's face??? 19: 5th boy hiding behind the others 18: Forget about the reaper. That dude is standing too close to that edge 16: Normal pic of a school of fish 11: Nothing was on the other pics cus they only picked the one where they could see something that looked like human heads. Which is normal cus you see what you want to see. Like the Mars head 8: Same as above 6: Normal space garbage in orbit 2: Someone threw a toy in the air and another person took a photo of it. It doesnt even look like that thing is that far away. You can see it is a tiny object close to the building
@@hughjass6348 Nobody obviously, They clearly made that up, However what he said is kinda true you really never know what you'll catch on film especially if it's something invisible or otherwise.
It may just be the angle, but I can't help noticing the hand doesn't have a shadow. The angle of the other shadows indicates it should be on the shoulder of the shirtless boy, but nope.
@@the_boss2194 I actually think it's a really good photoshop. It looks like the two images had fairly compatible light sources, but from the other shadows present, it looks like the hand shadow should be on the shirtless boy's chest or shoulder.
Anyone else noticed that in the digital camera age, there's like zero ghost pictures? Goes to show that the extra step of developing film introduces a whole cabal of potential disturbances.
My scary story: My brothers and sisters left me at home and went outside. My fam told me to go get them. They were at a local graveyard, standing on a dome kinda thing and clicking photos. We got home and i asked to see their photos. And guess what i saw!!!! In the back of their pic on a grave there was a short white figure. I told them but they shrugged it off. BUT I am pretty sure there was something. That’s all for my story :D
The skunk ape is actually one of many Southern names for Bigfoot other names are Fouke Monster,Honey Island Swamp Monster,Swamp Boogers, and many other names
I would say that there is clearly someone behind them and i think the hand on the boy on left side is also from the same person who did the thumbs up. It is basically a photo illusion
A few of these have been solved: -The Spaceman is most likely just the mother of the child, wearing a blue dress -The hook island seamonster is reported to be a monster-shaped sheet of plastic -The skunk ape is now proven to be some prankster in a suit
On a show called Mystery Hunters I watched when I was younger, they investigated the Hampton Court ghost and showed how someone could fake the video. They reenacted it using two people and a ladder. One person stood on the later a pushed the door open with their foot and the other, dressed in the robe walked out and played the ghost. The reenactment was perfect compared to the original video. If you look in original video you can see a ladder next to the "spirit" so looks like this one was a joke someone decided to pull.
The spaceman has been disproven as actually being the mans wife in an overexposed picture. He could only see 70% of the image through his viewfinder on his camera so he never noticed she was behind his daughter
People: “Look at this alien satellite!” Guy who offers reasonable explanation: “It’s actually a blanket that was lost on the space station.” Person: “That’s absurd! ALIENS! Confirmed.”
As a European I find it so utterly foolish that every single video contains the phrase "some people think it might be aliens". Its everything from ancient technology to lights in the sky. Like what are those flying bastards even doing here? Bringings gifts, burning innocent people, putting on light shows? Whats their business
For the tulip staircase ghost I think someone mentioned in another video (maybe in this channel or a different one) that there seems to be 2 ghosts in the photo since the hands are both the left hand, I believe. Looking at it again, I have to agree. The other one (the one in the front) might be wearing something dark that it blends with the background and the other one is being dragged upstairs by the first one.
At the 15:17 mark, after all the GHOST PHOTOS and UFO PHOTOS I was pleasantly surprised that your number one was the Chinese citizen halting a column of tanks. I remember when this happened but was unaware of his missing status.
I’ve heard of most of these but the most interesting ones are the Babushka Lady and the Tank Man. It’s weird that she didn’t move when JFK was assassinated. I also believe she was in on the conspiracy. I found it weird that she was filming the entire thing and she has never been identified. For the Tank Man, I think it’s possible that he could’ve been killed because he was blocking the tanks from moving and saw him as a threat. That could explain why the photo has been censored in China.
That kids left arm is the biggest photoshopped fail I've seen in a long time. The one wrapped around the left shoulder of the kid next to him not the thumb stuck out one. I do photo editing so I know a flakey shop when I see one.
Can I just say that #19, kinda does look like a hand but, to me it also looks like a balding shirtless man with his arms raised and his hands tucked behind his head. Anyone else seeing this balding man?!?
Tbh i dont know that you even need photoshop to explain it. Watchmojo is wrong that it is clearly none of the kids hands as just by the way the kids are standing some of the hands we see could be more illusions of who which kid we expect them to come from rather than them actually coming from that kid. The good ol tshirt trick next to each other
My mom has a photo that is bizarre. She went to a medium and before my mom said a thing the medium told my mom she had a photo of an ‘Angel’… the photo my mom captured was in her school, she’s an elementary school teacher, but it was in the gymnasium and the kids were reading books together sitting down. She took a photo of a group of kids sitting down and never checked it until days later. When she opened the photo a child was standing up walking behind a young boy with a book in his hand… the child was blurry and you couldn’t make out any facial features at all. The child had, what appeared to be a brown blanket over his head and was wearing blue and white pjs. What’s strange is the kid was never there, everyone was sitting down and no one knew who it was. The medium told my mom the blanket was Angel wings and it was some play going on at the school… apparently the kid who was playing an Angel came through as one, that’s just what I was told. Anyways we found a second photo after we got curious if we caught anything else. The second one was the same situation where it was just a photo of kids reading, but this time in the back there was a figure going up the stairs to the stage with a chalice in its hands. The medium never said anything about that, but they said it was a play… so it made too much sense and we believe we caught two child ghosts in the school. Staff in the school say the whole building is haunted, Janitors can hear running in the hallways when they’re alone, electrical toys will randomly go off, apparently some teachers will here laughing from the special Ed room when the class wasn’t going on. A lot of these photos are alike and I believe they’re real too. Pictures of bright light figures and all that I think are fake; the realistic pictures I think are the legit ones.
Lol, the second I heard Robert Stack’s voice in the intro… *shudders* Scariest shit I’ve ever seen in my life. I’ve never been more scared in my life than after watching an Unsolved Mysteries episode
My friend woke up with that grid like pattern on his back. He didn't find out about it until he got out of the shower that night. Throughout that day, I remember he complained about a really bad migraine even though I'd never seen him with even a mild headache. Funnily enough, that very day they had mentioned a light they had seen the previous night when they went to the backyard for a smoke. They joked about it probably being a ufo. Im convinced it was. Him not so much, even though we didn't find anything that could have made those marks. It also took about a week for the marks to fade completely.
Theory for “the back seat ghost” in the late 1800s and the early 1900s when getting your picture tooken, you would have to stay still for a short period of time. So basically my theory is the person in the picture accidentally moved a bit and then we go this picture.
I have a neighbour who swears up and down he's seen mini sasquatch come out of the woods near us and run across a frozen river. We're convinced he saw something but can't figure out what real animal would look like the creators he described.
I have a photo I took of my niece at the beach and it seem to be a hand on her shoulder with fingers. It's still a mystery because I knew for a fact that there was no one behind her.
The "ghost" of Freddie Jackson is right next to Sir Victor Goddard's head in the squadron photo. Jackson, an aircraft mechanic, had died about 2 days beforehand when he unfortunately had an accident with an aircraft's propeller. They thought that Freddie just wanted to be in the photo along with his friends. (And look up Victor Goddard; this was not his only experience with the paranormal! It's crazy what happened to him years later while on a solo flight.)
In my culture, the Church is scarier than the cemetery because the souls of the dead are trapped during 40 days after a mass, the church served as the purgatory
I do believe that its possible that flash photography and its development can perhaps capture things that the human eye can't see. However digital photos cannot... which is kind of sad to think about, we had a way to connect with the afterlife and supernatural entities that is essentially obsolete because of modern cell phones.
I hate it when people say dumb shit like this "no one can prove the pictures aren't real..." What is up with people and completely missing the mark on how the burden of proof works. It's the other way around, you have to prove they are real...!
I carry a hand trowel in my trunk. I needed it one day, so I looked for it. Nothing. Over the next couple of weeks, nothing, the damned thing disappeared. Could not find it though I turned over my trunk stuff looking for it. Finally, I ordered a new one. Went to the store, picked it up, opened my trunk, there, right in the middle of my trunk, sitting on top of stuff, right on top, plain as day, was my trowel. No one has the keys to my trunk, no one uses my car but me. Explain that. (It's not that I saw the handle buried, or the tip of the blade. It was right on top, right in the middle. We've all had that experience; you can't find something, you go out and buy a new one, then the other one shows up.)
number 17: Journalist David Clarke posited an explanation for the anomaly in the photograph in a 2014 BBC interview, concluding that the figure was the photographer's wife, standing with her back towards the camera, her blue dress appearing white due to overexposure.
