What's even more beautiful about Lelouch's sacrifice was that, at that point, Lelouch wasn't doing it just for Nunnally anymore, but *all* of those dear to his heart - Nunnally, Kallen, C.C., Suzaku, Shirley, Euphie, Milly, Rivalz, Jeremiah, Sayoko - the list goes on, but those are the Characters most important to him in my opinion! Truly heartwarming! 🥲
This *truly* was when Vegeta redeemed himself. There's a reason why that attack is called _Final Atonement_ in (most of) the Dragon Ball Video Games after all! 😉
Deserved no. 1. Lelouch up and went to sacrifice his own life to bring the world peace. He truly meant it when he said that one should only kill if one was prepared to be killed. He even proved that he lived by those words in the end. There are other sad scenes out there, but of the anime I personally watched, Code Geass's end is the only one beinging me dangerously close to tears.
Sweet video. I'm pretty sure there are more, but here are a few that I remember: Anubis's desperate attempt to free Kayura from the dark magic in Ronin Warriors, resulting in his death, as well as Kayura gaining his armor, with that playing on Anubis being saved by the Ancient One earlier. Android 16's final words to Gohan, encouraging him to embrace his power, before Cell destroys him. Goku's selfless sacrifice against Cell. Piccolo's death in the Saiyan saga. Future Gohan's death. Haku and Zabuza's deaths in Naruto. Jiraiya's death in Shippuden. Neflite's death in Sailor Moon, since he realized there was good in him, thanks to Molly/Naru, before his death. Sapphir's death in the following arc, since he and his brother weren't evil per say. The Sailor Senshi dying against Galaxia. Leomon's death in Adventures 01, Tamers, Tri, and to some degree Savers, since Saberleomon in that version wanted to protect Digimon. BlackWarGreymon, Koichi, Merukimon, and BanchoLeomon's heroic sacrifices in the Digimon series.
"There's not a single reason why so many of us have to spill blood. I met you men for the first time today. You are not my enemies. I have no enemies at all."
Mu saving the Archangel from the Dominion's Lohengrin blast is an iconic moment. Then him doing the same thing with the Akatsuki to save the Archangel from the Minerva.
Ichigo's rescue of Rukia was triumphant especially given his trials and struggles to get powerful enough to even stand a chance, it's a reflection of Rukia doing the same the night they met. It was the true beginning of the Bleach saga.
Yo I love this list... BUT... how did Alphonse sacrificing his soul to restore Edward not even make this list??? With as iconic as Brotherhood is across the medium, I was stunned it wasn't even mentioned
@@heroboygamebase2286True, but that's a different Universe/Continuity though. The Creators confirmed that Lelouch is dead in the Anime's Universe/Continuity. And, as horrible as this might sound, I actually think Lelouch (and Shirley) being dead works better - both for the message the Anime was going for, and just narratively for Lelouch's Character. 🙂 P.S. In the Anime's Universe/Continuity, He does come back for one day to say a proper farewell to his loved ones in the "Miraculous Birthday" Picture Drama though! So there's that! 😉
Even tho it was in the movie, Deku sharing/giving One for all to Bakugo to help defeat nine; even though he’d be quirkless again(giving up his dream), was heroic Asf 💯🤝
Shallow as it may be, many of these moments has inspired me into performing good deeds, from bringing drunk strangers who fall on their face back to their place to returning into my nursing career which has helped me migrate out of the country that exploited the shit out of the nursing career
All Might Sacrificing his powers to defeat his Evil Archenemy, All for One, Majin Vegeta's Heroic Sacrifice to save his family, friends and the world, Luffy's Heroic Sacrifice to stand up for his crew mate and Best Friend, Chopper and Ultear sacrifices her own time for the sake of others are all of the Best Epic Badass Anime Heroic Sacrifices I'll NEVER forget
That's a good list, Majin Vegeta's sacrifice shows how much he's grown, Luffy defends the flag for Chopper, honestly I thought All Might giving up his powers to defeat All for One would be #1.
Yugi Muto heroic sacrifice himself that the pharaoh soul was not taken away after losing to Ralph in a duel in the original yugioh anime. Fantastic job on the video watch mojo.
Is a shame to know that the original Saint Seiya anime never reached U.S.A. it has the best emotional moments and the best opening but the anime is never mentioned in the Mojo Anime Tops
I genuinely don't believe any of Saitama's actions to be overly heroic as there is never a doubt that he will succeed and no cost for his actions. I also believe that Deku vs Muscular is a more heroic moment than All Might vs All for One. Also that there are numerous examples of greater heroism in One Piece such as "Nothing Happened", Ace's death, Pell's would be sacrifice, or Yasui's sacrifice. A few other heroic scenes I greatly appreciate. Shiro and Aina diving into the Obselisk (08th MS team) Kikuchiyo's death (Samurai 7) The Exceeds protect Extalia (Fairy Tail)
WHAAAAT YOU PUT ALL MIGHT FIGHTING ONE FOR ALL AS #2. Tbh should have been mirio vs overhaul easily the most heroic thing ive seen in any anime not to mention how well it was done.
One of those entries should have been thrown out in favor of Mumen Rider vs. Sea King. He is merely a C Class Hero (the lowest rank on their scale), has zero superpowers and walks into this seeing a number of higher rank heroes either killed or mutilated. He pushes past his fear and valiantly (if futilely) goes toe to toe with the Sea King, taking a tremendous beating. His brave stand kept the Sea King busy enough for Saito to arrive to deliver his single punch solution. That is fucking heroism!
1. Kuma saving the Strawhat Pirates and eventually planned out everything for Luffy and the Strawhat crew to train for the New World. 2. Don Quixote Rosinante sacrifice for Law. 3. Kozuki Oden sacrifice for his family and friends.
I'm sorry but the most heroic moment from my hero was lemillion standing tall and protecting eri after losing his powers. No matter how much I watch it it chokes me up like it's my first time seeing the scene
Hey, WatchMojo. Can you please do a list of the Top 20 Cutest Girls in Anime? Here's a couple of examples of these adorable cinnamon rolls you guys should mention. Examples: Sumi Sakurasawa (Rent-A-Girlfriend) Kanna Kamui (Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid) Chibiusa (Sailor Moon series) The Platelets (Cells At Work!) Anya Forger (Spy x Family) Chiyo Mihama (Azumanga Daioh) Yoshino Himekawa (Date A Live) Filo (The Rising of the Shield Hero) Shiro (No Game No Life) Wendy Marvell (Fairy Tail)
16:15 His first rassengan, not the very first ever... his master had to teach it to him and even the master learned it further back.. Its shown to be minatos creation then later shown to be used by ashura venerations before then
Piccolo sacrificing himself to save Gohan beats the Vegeta one any day. Even better, how about all of the Z fighters trying to aid Gohan against Cell when they know they have no chance.
Vegeta's sacrifice may have been sad for everyone but i'm ngl, I really didn't find it all that impactful due to the fact that it was useless in the end. 😒🙄
How the actual fuck out of all the sacrifices made in aot y'all choose armin?? Like??? Ymir? Hange? Erwin? All their sacrifices meant something and you go with armin... why?
