Yeah...she sounded like she was having a stroke. I suffer from chronic migraines. I was talking to my boyfriend, unbeknownst to me I was having an aura, and suddenly I kept tripping up over the words, nonsense syllables pouring out. I joked I was having a stroke. He took it seriously, asking if I was all right. That's how scary I sounded, just like the girl announcer.

@@gp75motorsports yeah I learned in the 22 years of having migraines, that a migraine, especially the aura part is actually a little stroke, as far as I know you can't die from it but the quicker you take the migraine meds the better.

@@pedroamaral388 I never said it was a joke. I'm realizing now years later when I was stumbling saying things that didn't make sense, that was an indication that I was having a tiny stroke. I now have a condition now, forgot the name, but basically I have chronic headaches, including migraines. I have to take this medication to thin out the blood in my head to take off the pressure in it and I need to take it for the rest of my life. The aura comes before the migraine, and it is nightmarish. One time I had a killer headache but before it turned into a migraine, I had a nose bleed where the blood was black. When having the aura, I go blind temporarily. The aura/migraine attacks I wouldn't wish on anyone. I get wiped out for a whole day with these attacks. My second last attack lasted four days. When I was sitting on my bed for a split second I thought I was going to have a brain aneurysm. Thank God I have meds as soon as the aura hits and the migraine comes.

That was beautiful. One shout of warning, the cameraman meticulously aiming to catch that perfect Charlie Brown flip into the air, and the reporter picking up the microphone to make one last pitiful remark as muffled giggles sound in the background. You couldn't have planned it that smoothly.

You feel bad for her but it doesn't stop you from laughing. Honestly, it reminds me of the time I was walking down a sidewalk between dorm rooms to take someone a few of the little tangerines a roommate had gotten from home, and I slipped and fell flat on my back while the little tangerines flew into the air like mishandled juggling balls. A girl ahead of me saw the whole thing and was fighting a very valiant battle to help me (and the tangerines) up while trying not to laugh like a hyena. I never blamed her. It must have been effing hilarious.

I had actually seen a play on words quite similar to this once before at a Union Station train and bus terminal on a printed sheet of paper left on a food court table, along with even more graphic phrases. 🤐😉 Replace "Ho Lee" with "Som Dum", and you'll get the gist of what I mean. Suffered a migraine? That wasn't the way the info was related at the time. It was reported that she had a stroke or a seizure, but I think it was actually said to have been a stroke.

It was initially reported as a stroke, because that's what it appeared to be. The woman later confirmed herself, that final test results were that it was a severe type of migraine, not a stroke.
