Ugh, I knew I should have bought spares of the eldrazi unbound cards when I saw they weren't being reprinted. Guess I'll just have to wait for my eldrazi's to come down in price

I had a deck list set up I planned to order Monday morning, only to watch Flayer of Loyalties spike over night because of people buying copies in bulk.

Man I increasingly am glad that I don't buy newer cards. When new cards see demand, they boom and when the new set is out, they fall as hard as they spiked. When an old card spikes, it keeps at least 50% of that spike permanently. Juzam Djinn is the classic example of that. It's a really bad card by today's standards, but it keeps increasing because it doesn't see reprints and most people who originally hoarded it still have it.

Thanks for the video as always, I'd like to add that Spawning Kraken spiked since the cephalid creatures were changed now to octopuses, and cephalids are low cost creatures in general - contrary to sea monsters.

Correct. In Commander, Shuko, Lightning Greaves, and Umbral Mantle are the trio of zero-equip cost artifacts that can enable Nadu triggers.

You can't capitalize on it as much in Commander as its last ability cannot functionally be used. There is no "outside of the game" in Commander like in constructed formats (obviously, Rule Zero conversations can make this viable)
