I got 1970s and 1980s Steeler card album. Everyone except Lynn Swann who for some reason only has 1 year in Topps collection i believe.

Tony Dorsett is my cousin. I had 2 hand collated sets 72,77,78 and 79! I had 5 pages of mint and near mint Dorsetts and 2 pages of well used rookies! Roger Stauback is my favorite player of all time!

What? No OPC or Canadian Teams. A lot of football stars like joe theisman and terry bradshaw had careers in the CFL before joining the NFL. So what would a graded 10 RC of terry bradshaw playing for the montreal alouettes before the NFL be worth? Or joe theisman playing for the toronto argonauts before the NFL be worth?

Trip through memory lane. I had every one of these in multiples. I sold them off in the early 90s and lived off them for a few years. Damn if I could have waited another 30 years lol

I kinda figured those would be the top 2 cards, most popular players of that time and the most handled cards by collectors, hence the low pop count. Great video as always!

Yeah, that's my guess too. Most popular players = typically horrendous conditions. The 10's shown in the video were more than likely pulled from fresh packs and submitted later on after the fact. Thanks for watching!

I enjoy your videos, they are very informative. The problem for me is, as a casual hobbyist, there is no chance I can get within sniffing distance of most of the rookie cards you feature. However, I expect I could afford a number of 2nd year cards. I would like to suggest you do a video featuring some of the best affordable 2nd year cards of HoFers and stars. For instance, there is no chance I will be buying a Bradshaw RC, but perhaps I could swing a 72. Thanks.

How do I go about getting my cards graded..from this list I have the Fouts, Largent, and Campbell rookie cards all are look in perfect condition..also have from the 80s list Dickerson, Lott, Monk, and 2 Phil Simms rookie cards all in great condition..only thing that sucks is my favorite one, Lawrence Taylor rookie isn't in great condition definitely has some wear and tear

I have the Bethea, Page, Largent, Riggins, Carson, Payton (2) of them ..none are graded though. A couple may be worth sending in...I'm still leary of sending them.

Yeah, if they aren't fresh from the pack then you're looking at PSA 8 or 9 if you're lucky. Very rarely will you get a 10 even from a fresh pack! If you've had them for many years then it would definitely be worth getting them encased for sentimental value though. I've done that to a lot of my cards. 👍

Great Video: Packed Full with Valued Information & Full Entertainment Value. I'm Hockey exclusive...I Paused & took a guess at #1 (B4 U Revealed) ...I had guessed it to be out of R. Staubach, J. Nameth or F. Tarkinson . I'm not sure if they all fit the same era. Mean Joe Green ; Was he the one who did the Coca-Cola TV commercial? His card flooded back memories of that commercial where he gave a kid a coca-cola ! Happy Holidays & TY 4 Sharing !

Oh the pain of those... I have about half of them. Many with a hint of Mint minus the Gem and no ten. Even more painful I have like 10 Plunketts, many Manning’s. If someone need Plunketts in PSA -4-6 I got you covered. I have the Dorset, Carson and Largent prob in high grade so I’m not totally depressed.

I've thought about it but there are so many scammy guys out there anymore I just don't want to take the risk. If you lived locally to me then I would definitely do it. But, I have to meet you in person and have the trust first. I live in Knoxville, TN btw so if you're close then let me know!

I found an honest one on FB. REcommended by a seller on Craig’s list. Many posters and discussions on his FB page so I sent in my cards and so far so good. You could tell by reading the FB comments it was prob legit. But yea you have to be careful. Good people exist. Group subs are prob why PSA feels comfy raising prices.

are u kidding me,,,i had 1/2 if these cards. I bought them and a bunch of basketball cards in 1970 and 71, i put them up in my closet. I only touched them a few times. I had pistol pete, lew alcinder, terry bradshaw, OJ,,,,CRAP,,,,i sold the basketball cards in 1991 for $600 dollars. I gave the football cards away to my friends about 15 years ago,,,,CRAP,,,,hahaha,,,,,The cards where in perfect condition, but forgot if they were centered. I gave away around 30k worth of cards,,,,,,im bad

I just bought my dad a 1965 Fred Biletnikoff RC PSA 6 for $350. Haven’t seen anything above an 8 and it was going for $5k

@@TheSampson7777 Yeah, if there's no evidence I can't add it to the list. I wish there was! I try to get as much proof as possible that way people aren't thinking I'm making this stuff up lol because with these high prices it's very easy to think that I am. Thanks for the input, I'll add the card to the list for future videos and see if any have sold publicly recently 👍
