So glad to see a couple of obscure ones on here. My favorites are the Megalodon, Liopleurodon, Livyatan, Dunkleosteus, and Kronosaurus. Now this reminds me I really need to reread the Meg series soon.

12:24, love the Mosasaurus! The Jurassic world Version is 89 feet, while it's real life counterpart was only 60 feet in length. But.. I stick with the JW Mosasaurus.

JW created their version through cloning and who knows of they altered some of the Dino's to grow bigger than its original counter part. Hell they even created a new specie by combining multiple Dino DNA's.

The ABSOLUTE BIGGEST mosasaur was almost 60 feet, on average they could reach lengths up to 50 feet and btw, the megalodon would absolutely obliterate this thing.

Funnily enough, a lot of our predators are more dangerous to us than any of those. They do look scary though. Boats would have a lot more issues.

Megalodon was faster, bigger and had more powerful bite than the livyatan and megalodon would usually go for the flippers when attacking whales so livyatan wouldn’t stand a chance

What's even more terrifying is that it's possible one of these sea monsters may still be alive today which would explain the mysteries surrounding the bloop not to mention the story of how Coelacanth was rediscovered makes it even more terrifying

5% of the ocean has been explored, it's scary to think some of these creatures could possibly still be alive and in the ocean somewhere, we can never be 100% sure that they're extinct, I believe there's still a megalodon out there somewhere

If you think any of these animals are still around today, we would still have some younger specimens in the fossil record. So it’s unlikely that it’s still around.

I have to wonder just how helicoprion managed to get food down into its gullet. Judging, at least, by the way its been envisioned, it could readily bite their prey in half. But getting the pieces past the tooth disc and into their mouths looks to be a more difficult task. I can only think that we haven't yet gotten it right.

I was really hoping to see Xiphactinus. And it’s a mean lookin fish that would have made the Tigerfish look weak. This fish live in the late Cretaceous. Or even the Leedsichthys, which was a large fish.

Xiphactinus should have definitely been a honorable mention but leedsicthys shouldn't, its like today's baleen whales and whale sharks. Hell I would even go as far to say that I wished they were still alive in present day.

I love them! My favorites are the Mosasaurs, however espicially the Tylosaurus Proriger. The Mosasaurs will always remain my favorite animals of all time. They are special. Close second is Megalodon btw. And i'm glad to see the Tylosaurus on this list!

I actually have a megalodon shark tooth! It was found off the Outer Banks, NC, and it's about 5" tooth! 🦈 Jaws is a minnow compared to this fish!
