There are nearby uninhabited islands in the group that are hard to access though, Pitcairn is just the most well known.

The Namib is quite intriguing as it’s one of the driest places… but it’s western edge is right on the ocean.

As an Argentinian, it's nice to see Patagonia here. It's a beautiful place. But I don't really know how "unexplored" it is, more so when you put it just below the Mariana trench lol. Yeah, few people live there because who wants to live in the middle of a mostly barren and frozen desert but apart from a few glaciers we pretty much have everything mapped out. There are a decent amount of cities and towns, it's just they are small and far far between. Heck, even the southernmost city in the planet is there. Ushuaia, 80 thousand people, which is not a lot but it's still technically a city.

They included Pitcairn Island with 47 inhabitants and the Amazon Rainforest with idk how many tribes, so I think North Sentinel, with somewhere between 50 and 400 people, could’ve made the list.

No, it has been explored in the past. Maybe not as much, but there is a history where researcher take 1 or 2 natives there into modern world. But the result is not great

#10 Knew it would be somewhere on this list. Although, I expected it to be higher. It is the deepest place on Earth. Last I heard, only 3 people alive have visited that depth.

At 15:43 we're told that the Amazon rainforest covers 2 billion square miles. Which would be about 10 times the surface area of the entire planet.

Cape Melville is 490km by road (not straight line) from Cairns, which is a pretty decent size... that is to say, its a city and has an airport and a port. Closest being Brisbane? Outlandish to say the least.

I know they were saying metropolis to make it sound better, Cairns (and Townsville 4 hours further south) are both less than 200,000 people each. It sounds more isolated to say "nearest metropolis is 1000 miles away" not "nearest city is a brisk drive or boat trip away".

How can it be barely explored when people lived and have lived there for decades or that we do know enough about the places to know the exact size, what animals are there or aren't, what people or plants? Greenland is the largest island but Australia is the only place that is considered a country, island and continent. If you look at it as an island, it’s the largest, if you look at it as a continent, it’s the smallest

The "continent" part is mostly an English convention. For example, in my school we learned Australia is the country and Oceania is the continent (including many Pacific islands). What you call "Australia, the continent" (Australia, Tasmania, Papua New Guinea) we call it "Sahul", although I never heard anybody mentioning that word outside of academia.

I gotta give credit to divers. I'm not claustrophobic until I get underwater, and then my body refuses to breathe, even if it's on a wide screen and I'm not submerged. I had to leave an 3D "ocean experience" once, I nearly passed out. Adventurers are amazing!

I think you are mixing up Adamstown and Henderson Island of the Pitcairn chain. Adamstown has it's own population of people, as you explained but it's pretty easy to land on via boat or cruise ship. Henderson Island on the other hand is empty and not at all easy to land on. Could have researched that just a LITTLE bit more I feel like

Wasn't one of the cars a Porsche? Pretty sure it was a 6 cilinders in a "boxer" orientation. As for the other stuff you mentioned, I'm one of the "natives" (not really, I'm Argentinean but live far away from Patagonia) and while I totally condemn the "natives" behavior the reaction was kinda asked for. Something similar happened in Mexico. I'm a big fan of the three explorers, specially the cinematography used by the explorers' production but sometimes their humor goes a tiny bit too far.

You just forgot to mention that most part of Floresta Amazônica is located in Brazil and Peru. South America is not just a country. We have many beautiful and resourceful countries down here. For Nature sakes, we have the biggest state of Brasil named after the forest. 😩

Not sure how you define a metropolis but there is a city less than 500kms from Cape Melville...Cairns with over 150,000 people. Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland, is more than 2,000kms away. Who does your research?

For sure gold! But sometimes i use platinum and overshoot it.. I tried using iron pyrite once just to see.. yep completely undershot and had to swim like 2 hours with a suitcase full of doorknobs

From the opening underwater ocean scene, I realized that every one of the top 20 should be places at the bottom of the ocean... but that would be boring wouldn't it.
