The Raconteur roll with wellspring and headstone is really good as well. If I’m not mistaken. if you destroy the crystal spawn from this bow and it kills the combatant, you will get the benefit from wellspring as well. Just like when you get heal from unrelenting + headstone from Eyasluna.

The most effective way to use Verglas Curve is to shoot the crystal arrows near enemies, then destroy those crystals with the bow. The shatter damage from crystals counts as it's own weapon damage, granting multiple freeze arrows on shatter kills. Edit: Also, I felt deep pain at 15:36 when that titan teammate body blocked all your shots

Yeah, Hynra's method has it on lockdown. That exploit can still be utilized, but you want to shatter that wall of stasis w/a shatter dive to clear ads really effectively.

Circular Logic and Rufus' fury haven't left my load out since I got them. They're so fun and I can't wait for the mid season patch to make Rufus an actual monster Also, demo circular Logic with triple strand surge is nasty for damage. If there's a div, obviously, I match thunderlord damage with it. Its pretty nuts.

Circular logic is great on strand builds, I have a demolitionist roll that allows for basically infinite suspend with shackle grenades and if you get unraveling rounds from whatever source, it’s a shred

Stylish Executioner + Nessa's Oblation with Gyrfalcon's might be something I want to run, I've had some fun with landing an uncharged melee to apply weaken onto tougher foes and then shotgunning them is such a satisfying combo. Though I wouldn't do this to bosses as that might be asking for a death wish. For Nessa's Oblation, I probably want to run Repulsor Brace with Paracausal Affinity on it for both damage output and survivability.

I think the final warning allows me to do the most DPS that I would otherwise be doing with a special or primary. The hip fire mold doesn't really matter and only is useful when you can't get a headshot. When you can get a headshot you typically do 9000 damage per bullet depending on how close you are so it makes sense that someone that typically does high-end content wouldn't use this weapon because you'd be melted up close

I found Final Warning to work best when you're using grapple actively. A lot of the time, you're moving around so frequently that it either becomes difficult to line up exact shots, FW allows you to stay very mobile whilst retaining a pretty much guarantee that your shots will find their target. Its also a great weapon for run-n-gunning, I tend to strafe shoot in a circle around a boss, grapple melee into the which also refreshes my woven mail, adds additional unravel onto the target and reloads my the gun, ready to restart the cycle.

I've found the trick w/final warning is to stutter fire the trigger. Not tapping it, but a real random pattern of a couple of taps, then a charged shot, a few more taps, then a couple long charges, over & over as randomly/quickly as you can, & the gun just comes alive firing it that way. I rarely use hip-fire though; It's been too wishy-washy 4 me. Is that what you're doing? I guess to run & gun you have to be. I think you need a certain build to have it behave the way you're talking about right? What are the frags? Try that random firing pattern I suggested & let me know if you're experiencing the same thing.

@Jeigh Neither I should probably note that I run hunter, so I leaned heavily into grapple as that is where I feel hunters are best at. As a result, I'm grappling all over the place whilst using it as both an offensive/defensive/general movement tool. I found that slowing down to line up clean crits was getting me killed, which is why I found FWs hipfire mode to be a lifesaver. I do occasionally use the ADS mode when the opportunity allows (usually when I'm not getting shot at), and sometimes the damage does come in clutch. But yeah, for the overall playstyle I have, I prefer to pepper enemies down and harass them whilst making myself difficult to hit /be killed outright than to dedicate my aim for increased damage.

Final Warning is at it’s best when you know how to use the ADS. Hip-fire is only good for clean ups on really low health targets. Anyway, when it comes to the ADS, you want to charge until the diamond goes red, NOT until you’ve fully charged. You’ll only need 3 headshots (73 damage per) to kill, meaning that a full charge of 10 shots is almost always overkill. “Almost” because a full charge is surprisingly good at killing supers. Anyway, by cutting down on charge time, you cut down the window of time the target has to fight back. The thing is that once you start firing, assuming you’re good with your headshots, you’ve basically won the fight already. Unless they’re using a special or heavy, they won’t be able to compete with the sub 400ms ttk on the ADS mode.

For Rufus' Fury, I don't suggest getting Reconstruction. Instead, I suggest getting Rewind Rounds instead. Ideally, you will be using your primary weapon often so you won't necessarily get the chance to build up that magazine size with Reconstruction. Rewind Rounds is more the ideal choice for Target Lock really if you are trying to maximize your time on the target with Target Lock without having to actually reload.

Patty, for final warning you want to play cover hard. When you lock on you can hipfire around corners, but if they are still in your LoS, then ADS and get the double headshot damage (it 3 taps).

I single fire a couple shots after the initial charge on Final Warning and if there's a couple left depending on the situation you quick charge those shots for a tasty cleanup. Fun lil sidearm by def not a daily

If I can mention some personal picks I have been rocking. Hung jury with kinetic tremors, hero’s burden SMG with destabilizing rounds and synochronic roulette SMG with target lock/ pulse monitor.

I don't recomend reconstruction on the AR - I recomend rewind rounds 100%. as long as your hitting your shots, and if you're using target lock, its very good, for every mag, not just the first one.

I’m surprised more people aren’t playing with crimson. Literally no immortal SMG can keep up against it. Solid in mid range and close range. Hip fire accuracy is better than most SMG.

"less effective as difficulty increases" You don't use vexcalibur for the glaive shield, you use it for the team overshield which is lifesaving for gms like proving grounds where the boss fireballs one shot. Furthermore, it's the best pvp glaive because of its spread projectile pattern and 100 range, although it's swing speed sucks.

How did the Ecliptic Estaff Glaive not make this list? That thing is a complete monster. The projectiles are fast AF, making it feel more like a gun than a glaive. I got lucky w/an S-tier Harsh Language right at the beginning of the campaign & the only thing that can tear that thing out of my loadout is the Ecliptic. Totally different playstyles, but it's so much fun, I don't mind the extra work.

Can someone clarify for me please, What makes Stasis and Strand weapons kinetic? They both have an element so I don't see how they are Kinetic? Plus Kinetic mods won't work on them so why do people insist they are Kinetic? I hear this in almost every D2 Video. Edit: So what I'm hearing is, people call them Kinetic weapons cause they go in the Kinetic Slot - "First Slot". Also apparently Bungo sated Stasis was a kinetic but "acts" as an elemental weapon? Still don't see how an Elemental Wepon can be called Kinetic??

It makes more sense if you look at the environment we had when Stasis weapons first came out. To put it briefly: Match Game. Bungie has been very hesitant to give Darkness-flavored elemental shields to enemies (note how you really only see Strand elemental shields in the Lightfall campaign). The reason for this, I can only assume, is because players without Beyond Light (and later Lightfall) wouldn't have very many ways to access Stasis (and eventually Strand) damage. For a very long time, Match Game was nearly omnipresent in difficult PVE content, forcing players to choose damage types that could deal with the elemental shields in a given activity (as failing to do so made those enemies nearly unkillable). This meant that if Bungie had put Stasis weapons in the energy weapon slot, they'd be nearly useless, since you'd be giving up an arc/solar/void weapon for a weapon that couldn't pop elemental shields. When Beyond Light first launched, Stasis subclasses were strong to a pretty absurd degree--it took a full rework of the Light subclasses in TWQ to close that gap even after frequent Stasis nerfs throughout BL. Bungie knew this, and so many of the earliest Stasis weapons were also purposely undertuned because Bungie was worried about pushing Stasis even further over the top. Combine that with their uselessness against Match Game enemies, and there would be no reason to ever carry a Stasis weapon into PVE. Unless, of course, they put them in the kinetic slot instead. Nowadays, with Match Game merely an annoying memory, I'm not sure they'd make the same choice. Also gives them an excuse to put fusions and trace rifles into the kinetic slot, so that's cool.

The layout of this video is so confusing going back and forth between PvE and PvP...and so many weapons this season are viable in both modes so splitting them this time around doesn't make much sense. I just bought Lightfall+Annual for 17$ (I know it’s hard to believe me because I couldn’t either😂) and just started playing the campaign, it’s been like 3-4 days now and goddayum why is it so fkin long just to finally be able to unlock Strand? Plus all of the exotics too, the sidearm and the machine gun look so juicy but I recently learned that I need to finish the damn campaign first, which is deathly boring because it forces me to use the crappy version of Strand
