I never saw the Glee finale. I got tired of the drama of the show midway through the third season, and after Cory Monteith passed, I just didn't love it anymore. But there's still a soft spot in my heart for it, and every so often, I think of those early days, watching the show for the first time, and I smile. Seeing this video, finally learning how things all turned out, brought tears to my eyes. I also got choked up at the Boy Meets World, Big Bang Theory, and Fresh Prince. Those finales broke me then, they still break me now.

The good place ending was such a amazing ending. I felt really emotional, didnt cry but felt really sad but really happy it ended on such a high note

The Arthur finale when it shows all the Marc Brown characters all having successful careers in their adult lives and Arthur becoming a writer like his creator.

The Good Place for me is the best finale ever. Better than Friends, better than Scrubs, better than Parenthood. It's amazing.

I love how it started with Golden Girls and ended with Friends. My two favorite series ending for this list. Only one missing is The Nanny. That was another favorite of mine.

BOOOoooooo, no Futurama? Not only did it have one of the greatest finales ever, but they did that 3 damn times! But "Meanwhile" had me in tears so fast.

"I, Done" is one of the best, most perfect finale episodes I've ever seen. Seeing will and Phil's final conversation is really moving. But at least we know they'll continue to talk every Sunday.

My favorite TV show ending - At the end of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," the town of Sunnydale is destroyed. Our favorite slayer is asked, "What are you going to do now?" And Buffy just smiles.

Sabrina the Teenage Witch's series finale made me happy cry when Sabrina and her soul mate Harvey reconcile and rode off into the sunset.

The series finale of Supernatural did it for me, and Ted Lasso.

Scrubs had so many memorable episodes but the finale made me laugh, cry and smile. My favorite show of all time. Rebecca did a wonderful job narrating this video.

I know WM excluded animated shows from this list but you gotta shed at least a few tears at Arthur’s series finale. Showing the future with all of Elwood City’s kids now all grown up, DW as a cop and Arthur as an author just like his creator Marc Brown. And to make it even sweeter, the original voice of Arthur voiced him as an adult!

I cried my eyes out when Friends ended. The younger me wanted the show to keep going on forever, but you know what? I'm satisfied that I got grew up watching this amazing series.

The end of The Good Place was fantastic. I had a hard time getting through parts of the show but the last season or 2 made up for it!

Big Bang Theory was (and still is) my favorite show ever. But I HATED the storyline of Penny being pregnant. She mentioned over and over again that she didn't want kids throughout many episodes. And then suddenly she's pregnant and happy? Sheldon literally says "I didn't even think congratulations are in order, I thought Penny didn't want children" and Leonard just comes back with "Well she didn't, and now she does". And we're supposed to think Sheldon is the one who's being insensitive? I would've love to seen Penny to through all the emotions of her accidental pregnancy. Or not get pregnant at all.

Both the season 7 finale of Gilmore Girls and the revival's finale belong on this list. I don't think I've cried harder than on Lorelai relating the memory of Richard taking her to the theater to see Grease and An Unmarried Woman.

Thanks for showing the REAL finale of Scrubs! Here in Germany "Scrubs - Med School" was merchandised as Season 9, but it didn't even come close to the other 8 seasons.

I forgot about the That 70s finale! Such an emotional last episode. Those guys got me through late high school and a lot of college.

I loved the Good Place, I could watch it 20 billion times, which I've watched at least 5 times already, I learn something new and I still cry. Should have been higher in the countdown.

I personally feel New Girl was more heartwarming than The Office and Friends.

Modern Family’s finale felt contrived to me, like they were sleep walking through a check list of things to do in a series finale. The show was hilarious the first two seasons, had some great moments after that, but the character relationships became kinda toxic and the writing crapped on previous character growth for laughs. The Good Place had a perfect finale, as did Schitt’s Creek because the characters had organic growth. Frasier and the Golden Girls also had great finales. Parks and Recreation as well.

TBBT should've ended with an extended version of the scene 20 years into the future (where they had agreed to meet outside the building and get together to have dinner): Stewie there all alone, thinking no one else remembered, and then seeing Denise and the rest of the gang arriving along with their children.

The good Place ending was chef's kiss. I was weeping.

The Good Place packs a mean punch. That hit hard in terms of depth. The Office, however, pulls at those heart-strings. Thanks for this one.

I would have included the Parenthood final is this list. That show gets me in my feels every time I watch it. I loved how they were able to show the family moving forward after the Grandfather passing away. Like you just knew that the family would be ok after he passed. I love this show so much! 😢❤

I cried so hard with the good place finale…

Glee's finale sure made me cry, but I think it wasn't as good as it should. There were a few of the main characters that we don't know what happened to them. For exaple, we know what Rachel, Kurt and Blain are doing but we don't know how Santana and Brittany's life was. And I also think that Jonathan Groff had too much part to sing on the final song, being him just a supporting character for some episodes during the show while other main characters only did the group part and back up vocals.

Chuck - Chuck had to forget about restoring Sarah's memories & become the Intersect again because General Beckman & hundreds of other people were in danger of being killed by a bomb, with Sarah still somehow coming up with the solution that Chuck used in the very first episode of the series. So it hinted that maybe her memories were coming back.

There a lot of shows that got canceled & never had a chance at a finale…

As much as I thought Season 7 of Once Upon a Time sucked, I thought the final 10 minutes were the best. Regina's redemption arc comes full circle as Snow White and Prince Charming crown her Queen of all the realms.

the supernatural finale also made me happy cry. cause dean was finally at peace and in heaven baby and bobby and sam got to live the life he always wanted with raising a family and died of old age then meeting dean again in heaven

I very much loved the ending of Lucifer and the Good Place. They still touch my heart. But my contender for first place is Babylon 5. I get that most people blow off Sci-fi. A lot of Sci-fi endings are beloved only because they are the end of a journey. But Babylon 5 (B5) is a master work. To this day, it will invoke happy tears in /anyone/ who has watched the show. 25 years after its conclusion, it is building a new and impressive fanbase thanks to RU-vid and HBO. Several years ago, I accidently discovered something. I, being scientific minded, repeated the experiment with larger and larger sample sizes. It was 100% accurate in all 26 case-studies. Without informing the participants, you could play part of the instrumental score that only plays during the Finale. In 100% of the cases, anyone who has watched the show through the Finale, reported a deep sadness (even crying) often with no explanation. People who had not watched the show often thought the music was "pretty", but experienced no other signs. The Finale of B5 should be an example of how Finales should be written. I love Scrubs and Psych and Frazier and Friends. I was one of the Neilsen numbers for each. But B5's Finale will haunt you for a lifetime.

The happy ending for The Mentalist was very lovely.. one of my favorites for sure!

I loved the finale of Medium seeing Alison and Joe reunite in death hugging and kissing for eternity. It was a lovely ending after watching Alison lose Joe, her soul mate. Thanks for a top list 🇦🇺👏❤️

Wow! Six Feet Under finale was an amazing "I'm not crying, you're crying!" And it's at no 12? I can't even watch the rest and yet I'm texting this while you're all about Boy meets world. I forget that Ms. MOJO is so much way younger than me. I'm not even sure I can keep watching to hear you say something/nothing about Buffy!

What about bojack horseman or Ted lasso or b99 or manifest? Happy tho that the mentalist and good place was on there.

I’d argue the original Will & Grace, and also, HBO’s Insecure, had an incredible ending to their series.

Shocked that Psych made the list! It is my favorite show ever and I've cried at the finale more than once!

The part of the BMW finalie that always gets me choked up is when Feenie is standing in the classroom alone and says "I love you all."

The Everwood ending was very good. And the Smallville ending was fantastic. Two good tv series.

Gosh how much I adore Jane the Virgin - such an iconic show. (Also the reveal about Mateo was waaay earlier in the season, but it's still iconic!)

Some exceptional selections here. Hard to argue against any of them. However, I would've added "Superstore's" absolutely PERFECT series finale which illustrated so many positives that unfolded after the initial devastating news of our gang's Cloud 9 closing its doors forever.
