Lune Feline is an absolutely incredible vanilla fragrance. Not the sweet kind, but a dark spicy one with a touch of smokyness. Enveloping, long lasting and totally unisex. Bought it blind mainly because of this review, and I am absolutely impressed by the quality and uniqueness of this fragrance.

As it’s getting cooler where I live I have been obsessing over vanilla lately. Thanks for the video, there are some that I have not tried yet that are now on my list. Also, Rachel is awesome! I just loved listening to her. She really surprised me as well by putting Lune Feline second given that she generally likes sweet, non-musky fragrances. Go girl! You dive right into that rabbit hole of darker animalic fragrances! I love pretty & pleasant scents in general, but sometimes there’s just something about these darker fragrances that I can’t get enough of.
The first time I smelled Tobacco Vanille, I was like Im wearing this for thanksgiving, the end! Im saving up to hopefully one day enjoy a full bottle 😍

Love love love vanilla and have several from this group, so many yums! one surprise from my own experience while I love Tom Ford and own more TF than any other house, I tested TF Tobacco Vanille next to Phaedon Tabac Rouge and Phaedon won! I was shocked at myself! I need to test Vanille Fatale when I can get my hands on it.

That was a fun video and love Rachel's enthusiasm and personality. I'm starting to get into vanilla and absolutely love IA's Memoirs, but not fond of TF's Tobacco Vanille versus that dulce vibe with Vanille Fatale. The different tastes and views is one of the reasons I love this hobby.
Surprised Tihota was ranked so low and that I don't see Angelique Noir, Guimauve by Parle de Moi Parfum, Sucre Noir, and Note Vanillee by M Micallef at all...those are some of my faves. I am happy to see Un Bois Vanille by Serge Lutens in the top 5.
For me Contre Moi sounds the best, I came here searching for a light, airy, smell with no citrus, musk, or tobacco, which is exactly what I found. Thank you!

Another great guest. I'm so thankful that you not covered Vanilla fragrances (a note which find is difficult to make special and even worse when the focus is on it as it can come off either like cloying candy or even worse, cheap headache-inducing car air freshener strips). I'm also grateful that you've introduced so many new fragrances to me here. I've not even heard of some of these. Thank you very much. :)
Atelier Cologne's Vanille Insensee, IA Memoirs of a Trespasser, Guerlain Spiritueues DV, I Profumi Di Firenze Vaniglia del Madagascar, TF Tobacco Vanille, and Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille are my favorites on your list, but I have not sniffed any of your top three. The only one of these I own is SDV. Agree w/ your assessment of it completely. One that I really like but is not in your review is Diptyque Eau Duelle EDP. Also want to try Tauerville Vanilla Flash. Great list as usual!! :)
OMG !!! You will make me buy a new perfume now - Jeroboam, Insulo :-) I love Jeroboam, and have already 2 perfumes from this brand. I have Un Bois Vanille, Serge Lutens and it is really a wonderful fragrance. Great video, thanks a lot.
Great review! I love vanilla fragrances! From your list, the ones I love: Tihota; Tobacco Vanille; SDV from Guerlain. I think Vanille Insensee smells like an old book, but in a good way. Totally different from the gourmand vanilla kind of fragrances. I am very curious to try Jeroboam’s Insulo. Anyway, always nice to watch these top fragrances lists! Greetings from Switzerland.

Do you have Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanille Extreme in your collection? This one is strong but it reminds me of how you describe Double Vanille and is very affordable.

Ive had the travel spray of Atelier Vanille Incensee. It’s the perfect size. I’m looking for a good sweet cupcakey vanilla now. In the meantime I bought a vanilla lotion to layer under some of my other fragrances to get that vanilla craving.
Been thinking of blind buying either the Molinard "Vanille Patchouli" or their straight up "Patchouli" but can't decide on which since they both sound pretty similar. If anyone has any advice to give regarding which one to buy it would be much appreciated 🙏.
as a man i find vanilla (as a main note) to be really tough for me to wear and to like wearing. i don't mind the smell and i like vanilla overall but it just smells so feminine to me and usually i don't care too much as long as it's fire, i mean i like stuff that is borderline (BR540, 1 Million and 1 million Lucky to name a few) but just vanilla as a main note i can't enjoy wearing it unless it's a back note like how Dior Sauvage and other men's fragrance have used Vanilla to just smooth out some edges and make it more appealing for a woman to smell on a man.
To me it mostly smells like a vanilla-coconut cake. Not really long lasting, and the silage is also not to big. I only had a small decant from it. So I could only wear it ones. But I very liked it.
