I always struggled with brand and generic along with class. This is helping so much! I finished my school about two years ago. Got into a compounding pharmacy that was the most toxic elite garbage. My “trainer” for their Rx system would show me her Amazon shopping list rather than make sure their convoluted system was at least given a surface explanation… yea motivation died. Became totally disillusioned with pharmacy, myself, hell even with ny friends. Now it’s been two years and I know I got this even with the time I’ve given up
I’m sorry you had to go through that. Kinda the same with me. I finished my school to become a tech a year ago and I’m working at an independent pharmacy. The atmosphere can be toxic at times but I want more knowledge and want to grow in this field.
I just wanted to comment on here to say, thank you! I studied all 200 brand and generic names. Bought a couple of practice exams along with ur videos, a mometrix book from Amazon. I passed my exam!

I studied for 4 months and in the end it did pay off thanks to Amanda videos very helpful my question is to who ever took the test and passed it when did you get the results they told me 1 week to 3 weeks i am very anxious to know my score

@@niloofarmobaraki8702 my advice is review her videos in your car. Buy the book and read through the medications and contraindications. The math too. Although it’s more medicine than law and a few safety questions and laws.
@@shirleyjohnson3417 you get unofficial results, that may change, but I believe that’s like if you get caught cheating or something, don’t cheat and you should be fine

I am a pharmacist, i mostly answered all questions right unless the brand ones. Brands are different in my country and i still make some correct guess by the name lol
Hello :) I am set to take my PTCE next month. I have been studying these videos along with reading and memorizing the top 300 medications book from Amazon. For anyone who has taken the exam, are these questions pretty similar to what will be asked on the exam? I also use ptce practice bank and a lot of practice questions are asking more DUR questions vs these kinds of questions.
I paid her and she requested for my att which i sent to her, after 4 days she sent me my questions and answers i was shocked to see same questions appear before me on my exam day
@@shirleyjohnson3417 you get your “pass” or “fail” result right away but it takes up to three weeks to get your official score report with the number score

@@ashleiimerkdo8523 I actually need to do a retake, the top 200 screwed me up, they ask you questions using the generic name, as well as questions asking the brand, but not in the same question. Plus indications. You will be fine as long as you have been exposed to them for longer than 4 months (in person, in a Pharmacy setting. ). You do get a screen on the computer immediately that says pass or fail. But you don't get a numeric score. I'm waiting for my official results.
