I think Saito is the real GOAT here, I cant recall if it is stated in both the manga and anime on Saito's body count: but Saito kills 1K soldiers out of a million in the manga (this could have been a localization mistranslation/edit). He was such a legend that in the manga, the commander of the enemy army was so moved by his feat and bravery, and warrior spirit - that he told his men to show respect for him and honor him by pyre funeral.

want to add, that was a "Edward Newgate(Whitegate)" who was already dying from old age. Like, it wasn't even a matter of 100%. That was an old man ready for his death bed, far beyond his prime.

Rimuru in the manga was hitting everyone with crit's, not head shots. Ripping off limbs, shredding bodies, it was extremely brutal the sure destruction is probably why it was changed in the anime.

Loving the narration. Hearing you talk through everything, describing what I can already clearly see, rather than getting to hear the original audio of sound effects and/or music the creators intended really elevates things. The jumpcuts are great too. As anyone knows; action scenes are much cooler when you can't tell anything that's going on. 10/10 video, clicked off two minutes in.

King bradley feat is even more terrifying if you stop to consider hes legit just human. Out of al homunculy he is the only one with a normal body. He doesnt have super strengh, nor agility, nor reflexes, not even durability. He does all that in the world there alchemists exist - and he is literally just a human. A human who fought an army with a tank, and destroyed them like there were no chance to begin with. Now thats nightmare fuel.

I think an honorable mention is the new anime Ishura. There are many fight scenes and characters to represent this video. Mainly Soujiro the Willow-Sword from episode 1, the Mandrake, and Alus the Star Runner. They do like a solo army thing. Great anime if you like anthology and hard action.

Uff Rimuru's anhialation of the army is epic, the music that starts playing when he calls Megiddo is one of the best sound effects in anime I have seen.

I think what made Rimuru killing all those soldiers such a pivotal moment, was that I was a major tone shift from this happy-go-lucky slime that really just wanted to bring peace to the world to when he had to get his hands dirty to make things better

Feel I have to point out that Rimuru's Meggido was massively cleaned up in the anime. In the Light Novel it was nowhere near that nice. First it came in waves not that constant firing. Second he deliberately didn't kill some people in order to cause more chaos in Farmus's army. It was not a nice attack. It was far more brutal. Which makes sense. He was PISSED.

Sword of the Stranger deserves so much more hype. Almost no one I know has ever seen it despite it being one of the best action films ever. It is also one of the things where sub vs dub actually matters. The dub changes a ton and misses very key story elements.
