Nice list! I dont know what happened with your experience of FLY but it is good hahaha. And as of my homepark Walibi Belgium, I think it's just unlucky day bcs I get lots of days where I can get almoest walkon on Kondaa on the single riders queue! As of my top 10: 1. RTH 2. KOndaa (much better than EGF sorry) 3. Wodan 4. Taron 5. F.L.Y 6. EGF 7. Silver Star 8. Black mamba 9. Blue Fire 10. Hals uber kopf
Plopsaland is my homepark but i still rate Kondaa higher than RTH, im not even kidding last row on a warmed up Kondaa is insane especially the first half of the coaster, or it's just me who prefers huge airtime vs inversions xd, don't get me wrong rth is still an insane coaster but it lacks a little bit in the speed department
@@Venaticorum I know!! It's normally my #1 as well, but for some reason I think they are equally good, very hard for me, one time RTH better and other moments Kondaa, for me its mostly Kondaa as well, but at this moment RTH!
Taron is unrivaled in what it does, and it is a First class ride, but there are other coasters with First class qualities too and there can only be one Number one ^^ I am pretty Sure tho that Half of the German Enthusiast scene was birthed by taron
Hi thank you for putting Taiga on the list. Its so rare that I ever hear someone talk about it. I my honest view I found it better than any coaster I’ve been to in Europe. I personally find it even better then all the Rides in Phantasialand (which is my home park).
I don’t get why people complain that much about the trim on Toutatis, I literally don’t even notice it onride. Also it’s likely that it’s unreliability is going to be fixed in the off-season, just like Hagrid’s became much more reliable over time too.
For me, F.L.Y is definitely missing, maybe this ride has nothing special on the level of sensations, but what an experience ! I heard the word "experience" on roller coaster before but I never got "that thing" that made me feel this side of the ride, it was just a ride with good sensations but F.L.Y completly changed that. You're so close from roofs/walls/ground/water that the concept of à flying coaster is fully reached ! Also, the moment when you start the ride between the station and the launch is quite cool with the synchro of your seat when the angle of the track change and the transition in/out the flying position while in motion is also quite an experience and a really great job from Vekoma, I hope they will build this new generation of flying coaster in some other parks because they deserve to sell more than just one and only model.
Great list. Sadly didn't ride most of the rollercoasters on this list. For me my top 5 would be: 1. Kärnan 2. Shambhala 3. Taiga 4. Junker 5. Expedition geforce
Great video...Like you say, when it comes to opinion, there's no right or wrong, it's a personal view. Great to see you rank a few of my personal favourites high up ie Ride to Happiness, Kondaa and Oziris. Would have personally put Taron and Helix in top 5 but that's what makes these videos so interesting... Everyone's will be different.. Well done on your top coasters.👍👍
Great work, and it's hard to argue with some of your choices. Personally, i'd place Red Force above Stealth due to sheer scale, but I hear you regarding the hydraulic launch of Stealth.....so snappy!
So glad to see Dragon Khan get the appreciation it deserves! In all these lists I’ve seen people always mention the great B&M inverts in the continent but never this ride that is imo better. My current top 10 is: 1 - Untamed 2 - Shambala 3 - Taron 4 - FLY 5 - Icon 6 - Lost Gravity 7 - Goliath 8- Dragon Khan 9 - Wickerman 10 - The Big One (Apart from UK only been to Port Aventura, Phantasialand, Walibi Holland and Gardaland)
@@charliesmith5078 defo, smiler isn’t even in my top 3 at Alton towers. The gerstlauer over the shoulder restraints are probably my least favourite restraints out there. They come down loadsss during the ride and crush my thighs and dick/balls. Being a taller person they also crush my shoulders too and really dig in. Due to this I don’t enjoy it anywhere near as much as I should because the layout and theme is great and if it had lap bars it would be potentially the best in the country for me. The big one if you lean foward and hold on to the bar in front of you it really isn’t painful at all and that position reduces any bumping around the car - I also value ride time heavily which big one excels at, also the lift hill looking straight in to the ocean is the most adrenaline inducing moment in the country for me
taiga was the first non-family coaster i rode… i think i might have set myself up for disappointment. i visited särkänniemi (another park in finland) and let’s say i’m very glad i got in free. that made me wonder where taiga ranks internationally and… well i think i know where i should go next 😅
From my kind of rides, I think I would prefer Karnan over Toutatis but your opinion so I don’t care, I enjoyed this list a lot considering how unique it was! Like not having Zadra at the top or 2nd was a nice break. Actuuallly I don’t know, Der Schwur Des Kärnan might be a bit to intense, and quite a long ride time, for only 45 seconds of prime ride time.
You need to go back to Thorpe to do Hyperia, back to Alton Towers to do Nemesis Reborn (if you liked Black Mamba you will adore Nemesis Reborn), and back to Europa to do Voltron, might as well do Warner Madrid to get Gotham City escape in while you’re back in Europe.
Honestly, Plopsaland De Panne has an amazing line up. A good family woody, a gerstlauer with a surprisingly insane launch, and one of the best rides in the world.
Great top 25! Even that I don't agree in all cases I can understand your view. I have Taiga on top of my European bucket list and hope I manage to go to Helsinki in the next year.
The very ending of your video description is puzzling me 🧚🏻♀️✨😵💫 Also Juvelen needs to like not be an honorable mention since it bullied me relentlessly for guess the coaster 🧚🏻♀️✨🤨
I got Skyrush super close to me so at least I have one, but man Europe is Intamin heaven. Makes sense since intamin is from there but man I wish we had all of that intamin over here
Well we definitly have a differnt taste about what we like in a coaster but the relative positions are about the same except for Taiga wich i found very inderwelming for all the hype it gotten ( i do think our launch coaster preferences are to far appart defently disagree with you there). Also i missed superman the ride in madrid (and Troy and FLY but you mentioned those ones.) which i think should have a spot on this list. Over all despite our differnt taste an excellent list also a good indicator for if you know your own personal taste wich coaster you will really like. So Kudo's an excellent ranking video.
Great video. It’s so sad that the uk (I’m British) is so poor with regards to top draw thrill rides. I’m jealous of the parks you’ve been to and looking forward to a new top 25 once you’re back in the states!
the smiler has a great layout but is ruined by those horrible gerstlauer over the shoulder restraints, if you’re on the taller side they really dig in to your shoulders and the restraint comes further down throughout the ride. Because of that it also really digs in to your thighs and crotch area, not to mention the tracking isn’t that smooth so you get head banging in certain parts especially the final four inversions. God I wish it had lap bars
@@rocketpoweredf1402 there’s other rollercoasters from the same manufacturer that have lap bars, so it’s possible, but they’d have to buy completley new trains which is really expensive and not marketable so would never be done 😢
I've been to Energylandia on January 8th this year and what a disapointing experience it was! Out of all rollercoasters, only 3 were working and a 4rd one started working thoughout the day. I saw them doing some work on it and then testing it, with people riding it every 5 minutes - didn't feel confident at all. It's not clear at all what's working and what's not on their website so I felt like being scammed. No excuses about the winter. They ought to make it clear to guests what's available and if weather doesn't permit just close the park for good just like the great majority do. Front part of the park is completely disconnected from the back and employess don't show much sense of responsability, allowing people to do nearly whatever they want. There are lots of boring attactions and riding the same attractions over and over all day long day felt like a waste of time and money. You couldn't even visit the whole park because they blocked some passages. With the park being so limited, why not open the new area giving guests actually something to do? It's sad but I had much higher expectations. I can't see myself visiting, nor would I recommend this park any time soon, until I am convinced that the attractions will be available, that the staff will be more responsible, and that they will work on general improvements that make me feel comfortable about the price and with what I have to deal to visit the park. Continuing with outdated attractions and keep adding roller coasters simply to boast the title of the park with the most in the world doesn't work, especially with 2 identical roller coasters, a bunch of roller coasters that a 9 year old would die of boredom, one that can be found all over the world and finally keep them almost all closed with the convenient justification that it is winter.
I only went to PortAventura once, in 2002, rode Dragon Khan 5 times in a row (and yes I got the T-shirt!). Still my favourite coaster of all time. Back then, I had no idea who B&M even were!
I believe it wouldn't cost much if I took a little time to write down the name of the roller coaster and the park where it is located in the video. It would help a lot if we did this in future videos.
Always opinion but taron 20th in Europe is crazy 😂 getting on the last ride of the day when it is flying around the track not many come close outside of America
Honestly I feel like this list needs to be longer or something because there are a lot of really good rides that it seems like you’ve ridden that aren’t on this list and I’m wondering why, maybe you could make a video of your top 50 or the most under and overrated European coasters because I just wonder what you think of them more in depth
That's strange when it comes to Hyperion's wing seats. I've recently ridden it and this seat delieverd despite being little bit rough compared to inside one.
I honestly agree with most of this except for the blatant FLY slander and Zadra being too low. Also, go to japan and ride Eejanaika. RTH pales in comparison
For me katun was a bit underwhelming, it lacked power that nemesis and oziris have Also EGF is not that great imo, also Ispeed for me was so bad.... the restrains are so bad, layout doesn't to much for me
@@upsidedown_ Thats fair enough i don't think its that special either. Just a little notch better then the other B&M inverts trachkwise But its a bit lacking in the elements that are not part of the track that enhence the ride.
Have you ever ridden taron at night in the front row? might change your opinion on it... very fun to hear other peoples opinion on roller coasters, pretty respectable list apart from taron and putting piraten on here
@@Coaster_Critic id probably say ive ridden taron more then any other person, taron later in the night in front row is amazing and so much fun as you said. But all other rows seems very low tier so understandable you put it low if you havent tried front row later in the day :) Your love for airtime obvously is high where the sensation of speed is more important for me, cant wait to try taiga for the first time here in september. Intamin my favorite manufactor and i hope my high expectations can be held up
Normally when people say "oh you need to ride it in XY its better" it doesnt do much, but Taron at night is really something else. Maybe that has to do with nightrides only happening in Winter where the Park has a longer open time so it has more time to get hot - and it has freakin heated rails. It always raises back into my #1 Spot At the end of the year xD
Yes, I went. Nemesis was closed for the retrack and I wasn’t a big fan of Smiler. Wicker Man’s the best coaster there imo but not good enough to crack the list.
I am a coaster freak as well, but i got to disagree about what you said for RTH...I also love intensity, the more intense the better, but...im not a Fan of Spinning...so i am doubting i will ever go ride this coaster. Still i see why this is classified as the best coaster in Europe. Just wont work for me xD
Great video!! Hardly anything I'd disagree with, who could have guessed that rth would be number one hehe :D (also btw holiday park in Germany is rumoured to get an even better Xtreme spinner sooo fun)
I really wonder what the next extreme Spinning coaster will be like. Voltron (the new Mack for europapark) Features 0g-stalls, waveturns, vertical launches, switch tracks, basically everything that you can imagine, and there is nothing that Stops them from putting that together with Spinning trains somewhere else :D
I also agree it’s very overrated, i live about 40 minutes from it, it’s good, sure yes, but “that” good? Nah. I do however hope to see Mack building a few more of these just to see what else they can do with the model.
Out of the ones I've ridden this is my top 10. Unforunately I have not done any of the scandinavian rides yet, nor have I done Shambala and/or Gotham city escape. Will be doing Toutatis in a week though! 1. Kondaa. No coaster has ever given me this level of sustained ejector air. Those first 3 elements alone would put it in my top 3, but the entire back half of the ride is phenomenal as well. Not a single dead element on here and I don't get why people say the NICR is not whippy, because for me it does a lot. Also gives some good floater. The conclusion is phenomenal with the RMC-like quick pops of ejector. It's my #1 after 7 rides on it. 2. Zadra. Extremely fast, with my favourite turnaround ever but it lacks the sustained ejector air that Kondaa has. It's a very different kind of ride, where speed is the main selling point. The stall is incredible. 3. Taron. The launches are great. The pacing is perfect except for the slow down you experience right before the second launch. I understand why people might like this ride less because in terms of forces it is definitely less intense than most of the other top coasters in Europe, but the entire flow of the track as well as all the S-curves really drive it home for me. Theming helps too. 4. Ride to Happiness. Probably the most intense coaster in the world. In the back row, the first top hat pulls upwards of -1.7G. Love the ride, but eventually the feeling of disorientation wears off and it does have some less intense elements imo. The vertical loop is not great and the turn right before the second launch is really just a setup element. 5. Schwur des Karnan. This ride is a full package, which is weird coming from a small park such as Hansa Park. It has a great queue, great pre-lift, great first drop and on the wing seats the whip is amazing. Definitely the best Gerstlauer I've ever been on. 6. Untamed. Fast, intense and packed with airtime. I think for its size there is literally nothing more RMC could have done. The inversions are all snappy and it really feels like a coaster of a much larger size when you actually ride it. 7. Wodan Timburcoaster. This one is nuts. Doesn't really pull a lot of forces other than some floater airtime, but the sense of speed is incredible. Really, really good ride. Europa Park maintains its coasters well so it doesn't have a rattle or anything. 8. Expedition Geforce. For the longest time this ride was king and if you look at all the coasters above it, they were all built almost a decade later than this one. The first drop is as good as Kondaa's, but the layout is a little monotone. The airtime hills are good, but not as good as Kondaa's imo. The turns are dead content and might as well be scrapped from the ride. 9. Ispeed. This is a weird one because this coaster only has 3 elements that are actually good. Those are the launch, the top hat and the first heartline roll. However, all of them are so good that it still makes its way into the top 10. That top hat is easily as good as RTH's imo. This ride has a midcourse that completely kills its speed and the rest of the ride is no fun at all as a result. 10. Hyperion. First half is potentially the best in the world, although still not quite up there with Kondaa for me. Second half is extremely underwhelming. It's almost a giga in terms of height, but after the dive loop it fails to pull any forces, which is unfortunate because it has incredible speed. Still a good ride and I definitely don't agree with your point about the seating. It's better on a wing seat imo.
@@Jackson-co7jn Fantastic! Would probably be my #2 if it wasn’t for that trim on the top hat, but that trim really is a bummer so it sits around #4 for me
All these rides are amazing. And I'm guessing your just counting operating coasters but if it included sbno coasters I would've definitely given nemesis credit. Without a doubt the most unique b&m invert. And I would put it in the top 5 inverts. It was old so it gave that classic b&m intensity along with the roar. And it is an older b&m layout, the terrain is stunning and it is the definition of a terrain coaster, it has possibly one of the best coaster names just say it "Nemesis" it just hits and packs a punch. The score is iconic and fits the theme of the ride like a glove. And oh my god the theme is amazing. From the entrance to the queue line to the station to even the exit it is themed to high heaven. It's also really dark and if you were lucky to get it's final ride you got to hear the monster screaming and screeching as you rode the ride. (I hope this becomes a permanent thing when the ride reopens) it has possibly the most intense helix on any coaster. It's a bit short but that's good, you wouldn't want to add anything onto it as it would completely ruin the pacing. Just goes to show you can make an amazing invert with only a 40 foot lift hill
