Despite all the negative comments Springfield is home to many of us..I always will have love for the FIELD

I LOVE OUR HOME! I LOVE SPRINGFIELD AND WEST SPRINGFIELD! We are the real Capitol of America! George Washington often visited west springfield and springfield! SPEINGFIELD was the weapons depot for the civil war! We created the springfield rifle, basketball, volleyball (Holyoke), and TONS of trends and lingo that are used in other states! Massachusetts is the FIRST STATE! I LOVED IT HERE ALL 25 YEARS OF MY LIFE! MGM is literally 8 minutes from me💯

Springfield is actually getting better or at least trying, granted there's tons of dirtbags still. Regardless, the new courthouse, updated civic center, renovated train station, new casino, new additions to Bay State Medical, new CRRC train facility and quality colleges are all big pluses and moves in the right direction. I honestly think that if a high speed train was put in it would really boost and grow everything similarly to what happened in Brooklyn, NY. Places like Boston and NYC are so overpriced and overcrowded it's disgusting. The only thing that makes sense is go outward for homes and better living conditions, but most that work in those cities can't or don't want to deal with the commute. Imagine a high speed train that would get people from Western Mass to Boston in 30 minutes?

The Big E is NOT in Springfield; that's inaccurate. It's across the river in West Springfield, which is a separate town and MUCH more suburban.

I grew up in Springfield and I don't recognize anything. When I left 40 years ago after high school I left for a reason. It was a dead end with little prospects for a future. Nice to see it's coming along with new investment for a strong future.

They make it look so clean and safe😅. What the video does not tell you is all the gangs and drug deals. Sure the area around the MGM Casino is safe and has a decent police coverage, but leave that area and it's more like keep a low profile, or the old fashion duck and cover.😂
