Thanks again for more great information on how to get over there. All this helps in putting my mind at ease one bit at a time. I hope you know how helpful your vids are and hope we run into you and thank you in person!
Thanks! You’ll find info on both those topics here: www.dtvdanieltelevision.com/2022/01/03/30-things-you-must-know-before-pcsing-to-germany-with-the-us-military/
Blankets are for state to state moves not overseas. Overseas moves get browned wrapped. Not blankets. They get loaded at res and banned at the shop to be picked up. By a driver.
Thank you for continuing to provide the great information to us! Just wondering can I put an Airtags on our dog crates? We will be using a professional pet shipping company since we have two dogs. This would be a great way to track them as well, if allowed.
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching! As far as an AirTag in the crate, I don’t see why not. There’s plenty of spots to safely put one in there. Also I’m curious which pet shipper you’re looking at? I work with feathers and fur express to help incoming military families - ffexpresspets.com Here’s a full review I did on them: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Wei-3ainklo.html
It’s all about mindset and preparation. This could be an incredible opportunity for you and the family, maybe “once in a lifetime” type thing (if you continue to tell yourself this). But there’s definitely sucky parts to the move. With 6 kids I would focus on: 1. Logistical paperwork- ie: get everyone command sponsored, passports, and EFMP screenings out the way first. If you have a pet, that’s the next big step. 2. Your car situation- make sure you have a reliable vehicle to transport everyone for the next few years, and that you ship it out early enough to have it when you arrive 3. School- find out where they’re physically going to school so you can make a plan for the right area to live in with regards to easy transportation for them all. To be honest, any of my checklists will help you out and walk you step by step. I then follow up with super helpful emails that tell you EXACTLY how to execute each topic (most important and most expensive topics first!). Kids or no kids, everyone “goes through it” on this PCS, but things fall into routine once you arrive :) Lastly… get a reliable sponsor that you can trust and who has your back when you need the little things! 😊 Don’t be afraid to ask more questions! Good luck 👍🏾
