First one is so true, I practice as a freshman with juniors and seniors and recently have been trying to match them, but ofc i can’t so I’ve been going for consistency now
Hey Caden - I hope you are getting some calls. The number of place kickers missing key FG's is off the charts. Thanks again for the videos and good luck!!
This really helped me a lot man I am 19 years old currently at a community college that doesn’t have a football team but I am trying to get back into kicking I kicked in high school for 2 years and I want to try and walk on at a 4 year
This was helpful. But how hard would you kick the day before a game? Let’s say the Thursday before a Friday night game. And joy many warm up kicks on game day
This was a really helpful video. I am a sophomore in high school and I've gone out to a field about 6 times, trying to get a feel for kicking, if it is something I want to do, and I wanted your opinion on if you think I should try to pursue kicking. My longest field goal for the month I have been practicing is 50 yards. Thank you
A great video idea would be to show how to kick different types of punts. I have strength, I just don’t know how to switch up my locks other than a basic turned over ball (if you can do that)
Hey great videos. I just recently decided I want to play football next year. I decided I’d want to be a place kicker but I’ve never kicked before. The only experience I have is I used to be pretty good at soccer. My question is how should someone that’s never been a kicker before learn and what are the best drills to learn to kick properly? Thanks
Im freshly into sophomore/freshman (15yo, we have 5 HS classes in EU here where i Play), and Just started kicking during summer, got spot in the team, im consistent inside the 35, but over this line i struggle pretty much, what should i do and how long will it take to make kicks over 50, so i can get offers
i’m a girl and you’ve inspired me to follow my dreams to become a kicker. i will try out sophomore year! edit: do you have any recommendations for me, and would you be willing to give me advice? I have a only boys team but I will try out and see if I’m good enough. My dream is to play in the NFL as a kicker.
About to start kicking got my tee and everything cause In Jan 2019 I made a kick at a pro bowl event and I was about start kicking after that but got badley injured in my knee in my basketball leauge a couple of weeks later but yea yesterday I just barely made a short 10/15 yard kick on a pop Warner field . You got any tips bro
@@cadennovikoff ahh okay I'll see what you mean. Thank you tho for your videos they help out a ton. I'm a sophomore and I can barely hit a 40-43 yarder so I'm trying to put the work in.
Hi, I am a junior in highschool, I didn't play last year, my longest field goal right now is 50 yards, with just about perfect consistency inside the 35, do you think I can get myself good enough to go far or is it too late? I really appreciate this channel as it helps alot and you don't charge crazy costs for lessons. Thank You.
Yes it’s never too late. Jake Elliot who kicks for the Eagles didn’t start kicking until junior or senior year of high school. Keep working hard you have a lot of potential!
@@cadennovikoff awesome thanks. Just one more thing. When recording punt stats is their ever a time where you would include where the ball eventually bounces to? If theirs no return and the ball bounces another 15 yards would you include that for a net punt?
So I guess technically just for stats you mark the punt from the line of scrimmage to wherever it stops. So if the returner catches it, then that’s where you would mark it, but if he doesn’t and it bounces and rolls then you mark it wherever it stops.
