Hello! My SI joint has been in place for almost a year because of your video. Thank you so much. My back has been so much better, but randomly my left psoas has started spasming and it has totally debilitated me. If you have any suggestions let me know. I can't find any good information online.

I'm super interested to know why R side ant rotation is more common - just because more people are R handed? RMT/Bowen Practitioner here, with a L pelvic upslip that's driving me nuts!

That's a great question, and I'm not really sure why the right-sided anterior rotation is so common... let me ask one of our therapists that specializes in pelvic floor and SIJ issues and see if she knows... stay tuned!

Hello, thank you for this information. For the first exercise, do you know if pain is associated with the side that needs to be pushed on or the opposite side? That information would help me very much. Thank you.

Pain is usually associated with the side that needs to move, as it's out of alignment. Which side is your pain on?

@@GordonPhysicalTherapy Thank you! I tried the movement and I have found that to be true. My pain alternates sides and I've been doing the movement to push back in the side that's currently hurting. It's been working great! I really appreciate your videos, my physical therapist didn't help me and I've had to research all of my answers on my own. FYI the first thing that I found that cracked something in my lower back was side lying leg lifts with ankle pointed inward, and lying prone, bending the knee and lifting the foot (hits the glutes). This discovery started me doing general strength training and now this movement seems like the last piece of my puzzle. I wish you and your practice the best.

Help 🙏🏽. I have pain left si joint when I palpated it, like you mentioned. Also when I climb stairs, prolonged sitting in chair or car my left SI joint is irritated. Big question: does SI cause torquing on opposite side, and low back to ache? In addition posterior leg numbness tingling down to the soles of me feet? My left leg is worse than right. When I wear a SI joint belt, things seem to improve at bit. I’ve seen 3 doctors and no one has a clue. I had a hard fall on my butt about 6 months ago, and have been suffering since.Thank you 😊

I have a rotated Sacrum and I do the second exercise, What if I have that popping noise every time I do the exercise lying on my back. I does not hurt,

Hi, Barbara. That's a great question. Some people rarely, if ever, experience that popping noise, while others experience it consistently. As long as it's not causing pain, I think it's safe to continue the exercise. Over time, the popping might become less frequent, but everyone's a bit different. I think the important part is to make sure it doesn't cause you pain and also to make sure that the exercises are helping with your SIJ pain. Does that help?

If you have specific pain that you can put your finder on around your L4-5 that isnt as far away as the SI dimple - what would you suggest looking into?

If you can physically put your finger on the pain, I'd look into the surrounding muscles as the source of the pain.
