I know how to make a flame thrower you get a bottle of hair spray and a lighter you throw the hair spray out the window you get a gasoline fuel thing you modify a water sprayer to fit the cap and you put the lighter in front of it (but not to close) and you tie a string to the lighter starter thing and you pull the spray thing and the string and then BAM a flamethrower (I just wrote this I did not try this) also it might be a good idea to put it on a thing that rolls and use two metal bars and use ductape to get the lighter on and also (sry for so many alsos) get a kinda powerful water sprayer sry for this comment for being so long it looks like spam but I put a lot of thought into this flamethrower idea and congrats if you're still reading this and you didn't get bored. (sry for the many type O's )

The alcohol gun is very clever, you should build a more efficient one and test for the optimum amount of fuel (by keeping the gun on a stand) and measure the distance travelled in cm/inches
For the bow you should make the hole big enough for a nail and flatten the end where you're supposed to smack it with a hammer and you've got a real weapon
Something that requires a gun license but is homemade: Handheld Railgun. Take a non-metal material that DOESN'T accept much electric current and form it into these pieces: Handle; Trigger; Trigger-Piston Lever; Piston head; Piston arm; Hull Left; Hull Right; Stock Frame; Power Unit Access Door; Magazine Case; and Magazine Piston. Hull must have a hole in the back and bottom, back being a rod for the stock. Both the Stock frame and the Hull MUST have a cylindrical nub large enough for a spring. Now you also need 2 Exposed Cu Coils (Copper), 2 1m x 5mm Ferromagnetic dowel (Fe;Ni;Co[Iron;Nickel;Cobalt]), 3 springs, 1dm (decameter) diameter and 2 1cm diameter. The tools you need are: 3D Printer that takes ABS or Acrylic Plastic; A Computer to operate the printer; Screwdriver Phillips head; Metal cutter tools; Soldering Iron and flux; Sandpaper to file rough edges down; and a software to create .stl files, Autodesk Inventor is recommended.
Now Instructions: Step 1) Make and print the ABS/Acrylic parts. Step 2) Sand them so your fingers don't get blistered (Its possible). Step 3) Take the Piston head, arm, Trigger, and Trigger-Piston lever and put them in a inverse C shape with the trigger at the bottom, This is the firing mechanism. Step 4) Cut a dowel in half to make the two rods and take the coils and put them around the rods, These are the two monopoles for the acceleration circuit. Step 5) Take a Hull side and put in the firing mechanism and acceleration circuit. Step 6) Take a limit switch and cover the button end with a secondary trigger rubber sleeve. This will act as a charging trigger. Step 7) Put in the battery terminals of choice BUT not add the cells. This requires a fuse. Step 8) Take a fuse shell and fuse and stick it in the housing. This will prevent over-volting the coils, turning the rods to plasma (aka Fire). Solder the negative lead from the terminal and put it in the input of the fuse terminal.
The fuse terminal's positive goes to the limit switch negative lead and the positive lead goes to an array of capacitors that hold the charge for a shot. Hook the positive end of the array to the negative monopole and the positive lead of the monopole gets soldered to the negative of the positive monopole, then finally solder the positive lead to the positive battery terminal. That is it with the soldering the circuit. Step 9) Close the hull after inserting the fuse. Step 10) Glue the larger spring to the bump on the hull's rear. Step 11) Take the stock frame and glue the spring to that end and have the rod inside the hull. When Designing this, MAKE SURE to not cause conflicts. Step 12) Add rubber padding to the stock. Step 13) Take the other dowel and cut it into 15ths sharpening on end to penetrate everything BUT people and house/structure materials. Targets and ballistics gel are OK. Step 14) Take the smaller springs and the magazine piston and glue them together.
Step 15) Take the magazine piston assembly and glue them inside the casing. Each magazine should be designed to hold 5 rounds each. Step 16) Insert batteries and close the access door, Insert a mag and start it up! Please note: I am not responsible for any injury, murders, vandalism because of EMPs, fires, or any accident or crime this weapon commits. It is your fault that you caused it. Use common sense and this might not happen. I plan on building one for the heck of it, and copyright the shell design. You can use the internals however.
I think the alcohol gun is the most useful. when it shoots it lets out a spark so pour some alcohol on something shoot the gun right next to it and BURN.
