This was the final race of the year in Sodi Rental Kart League Racing at Dallas Karting Complex and it was by far the best one. I started 6th and it was a 5 kart breakaway from the beginning. The race settles down in the middle and then ends up being a wild & exciting finish.

This was one of the best races I have seen you in ever. It was an awesome race. I can tell this track is faster than the slick track for sure! great job on your 3rd place over all in the points. Merry Christmas to you and your family. God Bless!

Where would you recommend going in Dallas area when I am down there the week after Christmas? Last time I was in Dallas we went to lone star kartpark and it was a ton of fun but we had issues with a couple of the karts, thinking about DKC this time but would love to hear suggestions.

In DFW your only options for rentals are Lonestar Kart Park, Dallas Karting Complex or K1. I'd recommend DKC, plus there's a Buccee's Gas station about 5 minutes away that you NEED to stop at.

Great ending to the race and nice average lap time. I think that was just better than my qualifying time lol. On that note I had a question for you. I’ve been to the last few league races and have done ok but always missed the cut for the final race. My plan was to stick to league racing until I consistently make the finals and then buy a kart. Is that a reasonable thought process? Or should I just go for it and do both even if I’m not that quick yet. To be fair if I was 5 lbs heavier I’d have made the finals for heavies but still not at the top end

Driving your own kart will make you a better driver. I say just buy one vs waiting until you can do better in rentals. Of course you’ll get better the more you drive and get confident in the kart.
