I think it's safe to say Martin deserves to take the title this year. I generally root for Bagnaia, but if one takes a fair and objective look, Martin has been the better rider, and with an inferior motorcycle.

Yes. It starts the year as the same bike. But the official team ALWAYS gets the good upgrades before satellite teams. They often get upgrades that no one else gets, also. No satellite bike is EVER equal to a factory bike.

It is fair to say that Martin is on another level but come on you can’t ignore the fact that pecco has been so unlucky this season. Incident with marquez in portimao, incident with binder in jerez sprint, mechanical bike problem in le mon sprint and incident with alex marquez last week in Aragon. Plus he has won 7 races this year while Martin has only won 2

Yeah they should have showed the first half of that pass. During the sprint they had a great camera angle on that showing just how fast and close they were with Marc swinging his leg around to move the bike the little extra bit.

Great ride by Martin. Hopefully Aprilia gives him a winning bike for the next year. In hindsight, Ducati made the mistake of losing a Champion young rider.

This year is his last best shot looking at what happened to Aprilia, unless Aprilia find a way out to catch up with the Ducs. But compare him to last year, he's more focused whereas Pecco still made a lot of error causing him to lost points.

Don't blame Martin, blame Ducati by treating him unfair. Martin had a potential, and he shows that potential on 2023 by battling Pecco, being a Runner up, and destroying the whole sprint race format since 2023.

I agree. This is supposed to be the World Championship. The elite racers of the world. It is a spectacle of its own and doesn’t need unnecessary artificial distractions for teams and riders! Two practice sessions on both Thursday and Friday. Final practice and race settings simulation session Saturday morning. Qualifying Saturday afternoon. Race on Sunday. There’s no anticipation for the spectator anymore. It’s just like living off McDonald’s meals. Gorge on fattening content, without nutrition. Feel empty. Repeat.
