Top 3 WORST Snow Storms in U.S. History - (Crazy Blizzards)

I'm wondering whether the storm you're talking about is the one that hammered Buffalo, New York. The Buffalo storm took place in January of either 1977 or 1978; can't remember the year for sure. Snow and snow drifts were burying parked cars throughout the city. It took quite a while for people to even find their vehicles, let alone dig them out.

I remember that blizzard! Nowadays what they call a blizzard (at least in my area) is nothing compared to 1978!

I remember the '93 storm as well because I had just got out of the Marine Corps in Nov. '92 after being stationed in southern California for several years and I was now back home in Virginia. And yes, my roommates and I WERE snowed in for a week. It was all the same huge storm, but we got 3 separate waves of it over several days. I remember it was the worst I had seen since the big one in the late seventies, when I was a kid. I remember my ma dressing me in so much clothing that I could barely put my arms down. Looking back, I'm not sure if she was trying to keep me warm or if she was trying to make me float back up to the surface should I fall into a snow pile higher than I was tall !! 😬😳😅😅😅

18” here in northern Kentucky in 93. The blizzard of 78 was way worse to me.

Yeah, I've researched the Blizzard of 1949. As far as weather conditions alone, it has to be the worse Blizzard in recorded history.

And whoso disbelieveth of you afterward, him surely will I punish with a punishment wherewith I have not punished any of (My) creatures. [5:116] And when Allah saith: O Jesus, son of Mary! Didst thou say unto mankind: Take me and my mother for two gods beside Allah ? he saith: Be glorified! It was not mine to utter that to which I had no right. If I used to say it, then Thou knewest it. Thou knowest what is in my mind, and I know not what is in Thy Mind. Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Knower of Things Hidden ? [5:117] I spake unto them only that which Thou commandedst me, (saying): Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. I was a witness of them while I dwelt among them, and when Thou tookest me Thou wast the Watcher over them. Thou art Witness over all things. [5:118] If Thou punish them, lo! they are Thy slaves, and if Thou forgive them (lo! they are Thy slaves). Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Mighty, the Wise. [5:119] Allah saith: This is a day in which their truthfulness profiteth the truthful, for theirs are Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they are secure for ever, Allah taking pleasure in them and they in Him. That is the great triumph. [5:120] Unto Allah belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is therein, and He is Able to do all things. ---------------------------------------- Jesus peace be upon him, did not dare to ask Allah for mercy and forgiveness for the sake of his people, because his people worshiped him and his mother instead of Allah, and this is an unforgivable sin, so Jesus said to Allah that you are the Mighty, the Wise, and he did not use the name of the Forgiving, the Merciful. ٠٠

What is wrong with his facts, exactly ?? Snow is not the only thing that makes a storm bad. Population almost always makes a storm worse in every way. I am assuming you were indicating that you get higher snow totals in Idaho. Well, you also get higher totals on top of a mountain with a ski resort. So, time and place, friend.
