Brutal, and at times record cold weather coupled with snow storm after snow storm would be a good way to sum up Winter 2013-2014 for many parts of the USA. And NYC got in on much of that with several major snowstorms and ice storms affecting the area. This highlights video chronicles all 6 major winter storms to hit the New York area during winter 2013-2014.

Scott M. - I love your videos!! Love the snow!! Very well done and I like that you give us the date and locations of your videos. Keep them coming. And here’s to a snowier and colder than normal winter in the NY/Nj area!! And to anyone else who loves winter... And yes, I do have to shovel in it and drive in it and I still love it. And I’m not young anymore.

Really appreciate it! Thanks for taking the time to watch my videos. Not everyone likes them, but hey....you can't please everyone lol. As long as they are respectful, you have to take the good with the bad. With that said, yes, hoping for a snowy winter again. I do enjoy a good snow storm!

The last winter was wicked and brutal man! I remember all the storms in the video! But where I live there was more storms and more snow haha. I bet you guys get more snow in the February 13 than we did. But yeah still it was snowy haha. I live in the very northeast of Massachusetts, so 35 minutes north of Boston. But lot colder and snowier than Boston haha. We had 78 inches of snow and my town season average is only 53.7 inches lol. about 25 inches above normal haha. Boston's average is 43.8 but they got 59 inches. The whole state's last snowfall was April 16th. I love your vids man! You earned a sub and lets hope the snowy season returns like this one next winter :-)

This was pretty good. I don't know if I'd be able to live there tho. I'm from Florida, never saw snow in my life. Our winters are usually in the 50s. Maybe a handful of times in the winter it will get as low as the 30s.

+Manoj Premnath That depends on the winter we're having. So far this winter we've been snowless. But, normally the best month for snow in NYC is late January and February.

Now alot of US having very cool summer including north Texas. Supposed to be in upper 90s late this week but I think only one 100 degree day so far this summer. Many days in low to mid 80 -unbelievably cool for north Texas in summer. Also know Midwest(Indiana, Ohio, Michigan) have had very cool summer so far.

Wait.... where do bums go during these conditions?? Like, for real??? Where do they go? There cannot be enough shelters to house all of those poor devils are there?? Hopefully there is a place for them when it’s blasting cold like this... one would simply die if they stayed out in this cold over night right??

many will take shelter in the subway tunnels during extreme winter weather. Not the best option either, but better than being exposed to the elements.
