Can I just say, I’m a professional fish enthusiast. Have been for 20years now. Starting young with my grandpa that owned 2 stores. This dudes vids are absolutely pristine. The work, the heart and soul, the intelligence and articulation, and especially the film work. I hope this stays on yt for ever bc I will refer to this till I die.

I really love how you narrated and edited this! The edits and sound effects were charming but not overly flashy or distracting; your narrative tone is very pleasant, a nice meandering manner that sets a nice tone for the video. I'm new to aquascaping and am going to start adding creatures eventually, so I've watched a lot of videos to learn. This one is definitely my favorite. I can't wait to see what else you get up to!

I saw your last video and went to check out your channel because the production value was so impressive and you had such a different, funny style compared to most other aquascaping and aquarium focused youtubers and I was shocked to see you've only uploaded twice, but even more shocked at how close together they were! This is a lot of really good editing and your commitment to both the fish and the videos is awesome, instant sub!

Watching these videos sometimes makes me think how cool it would be to be an aquarium fish, living in a nice planted tank, just chilling. No stress, no expectations, just living and doing absolutly nothing lol

I already know this will be an infamous channel. I love these ecosystem videos and I’m sure a lot of other people do (kinda used infamous in the wrong way but those tanks are EVILLLY good).

I wondered why the heck this was reccomended to me, now I'm glad it was! I loved the little munches and sound effects, the way you showed how the branch would divide the tank, and how casually informational this was. Never watched a video about fishtanks before this one.

Way cool dude! I used to grow tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce with fish water from a Tilapia tank. And about 8:38 three months collected the larger fish.

what a gem of a channel to stumble onto -- all your scapes are so wonderful! and your video editing is top notch 👌the sounds you add for all the animals really matches them perfectly, you almost forget they're even edited in at all! massive respect for your commitment to letting tanks cycle naturally, even when it takes some time -- I worked in animal care with a specialty in fish for several years, and i'm currently a water quality technician at an aquarium, and the most painful thing to come across while i'm lookin for chill fish content in my downtime is seeing people fail to resist the urge to be impatient and dump too many animals into a freshly set-up tank all at once. seeing someone do gradual stocking was a pleasant surprise, so kudos to you for that!! as an aside, i was sooo excited to see chili rasbos pop up in this video! a few years back i had a massive school of em, i got em for cheap cuz apparently they're not as popular as their more colorful cousins, phoenix rasboras, but i loved em so dearly and seeing them all happy and vibrant and colored up nice in this tank was just such a wonderful little throwback for me :''') keep doing you man!! excited to see what you make next :D

When I was a little younger, I thought about an idea very similar to this. I thought about having plants just floating around on top of the water and still being able to grow, so I ran outside and grabbed whatever I thought would look good. I was satisfied with how it came out looking inside of my bedside fish tank. I was HORRIFIED the next evening when inspecting it up close to see thousands of tiny worms crawling all over the glass. For me it was nightmare fuel lol. Unfortunately, I poured a bunch of bleach and boiling water into the tank up to the brim. RIP.

Love these kinds of aquarium aquaculture hybrids. The terrestrial aquaculture plants like strawberries eat up a ton of the nitrates and ammonium buildup in the water. And if you keep the water at around 28C, it'll promote Niterbacter bacteria to grow and further break down the nitrites and excess ammonia into nitrates for the plants. Plants get lots of available fertilizer, fish get plenty of oxygen, people get snacks using organic fertilizer.

Your editing and sound effects are why this channel is one of my new favorites!

Forty years ago (yeah I know) I had to leave an aquarium unattended with tropical fish for an extended winter break. I put a natural light desk lamp over the aquarium and I came back in four weeks to find the plants and algae had flourished, the snails were much more abundant, and the fish were thriving. And there was no one to feed them or tend to them for four weeks. Like I said, forty years ago. Your very ingenious, creative, and excellent video brings great joy to my heart. Thank you.
